We commemorate our martyrs of the revolution, especially Commander Egîd, with respect and gratitude, on the 39th anniversary of our 15 August Resurrection Campaign, which created a tremendous national consciousness and emergence at the time of the genocide when the people of Kurdistan came to the brink of extinction in terms of existence, culture and identity. We congratulate the 15th of August, the resurrection and guerrilla day, primarily to Leader Apo, the creator of this breakthrough, to all our patriotic people and to all our comrades who are fighting selflessly in every resistance position today.
With the 15 August operation led by Commander Egîd, the first bullet fired against colonialism, the patriarchal system, the bloody fascism that attacked all the assets and cultural values of the Kurdish people, undoubtedly changed the fate of not only Kurdistan, but also all resisting peoples who favor free life and democracy all over the world. . The 15 August resurrection move is a declaration of freedom against the colonial capitalist system that feeds on fascism, oppression, genocide and massacre, showing that nothing will ever be the same as before. The first bullet that came out of the barrel of Commander Egîd removed the dead soil that was thrown on all the oppressed, especially the Kurdish people, and created the ground for it to turn green again from the garden of free peoples, which dried up in the grip of massacres. In this sense, as the Kurdish people and freedom militants, who regained their will in the light of Leader Apo, we owe everything we have today and all our achievements to the 15 August resurrection move. Today, we are destroying the history of slavery on the ground of struggle created by the liberation struggle on 15 August, we are marching with our armies against those who want to invade our lands and colonialism, and with great national awareness and enlightenment, we can say that we exist as Kurds both in the Middle East and in all international areas. Undoubtedly, August 15 is the heroic epic that makes us live this honor and we can call the beginning of the time of the free Kurd in the Middle East. In this sense, the 15 August operation is not a repetition of the classical Kurdish rebellions or a random armed raid on any outpost of the Turkish army. Leader Apo, It is a liberation move developed by the leading PKK cadres and commanders within the framework of deep concentration, solid foresight and historical analysis. At the same time, it is a contemporary rebellion, the road map of an honorable and resisting Kurd, which determines our line of military victory in terms of strategy and tactics, revealing the way the self-defeating Apoist guerrillas strike the enemy.
THE BEGINNING OF THE STRUGGLE OF SELF-DEFENCE FOR WOMEN
Our August 15 move is also a blow against the male-dominated mentality and all its entrenched institutional structures. The fact that women took part in the guerrilla ranks and the groundwork for women’s army was created with August 15 is also a liberation for all women in the world who were murdered, oppressed, subjected to systematic violence and torture under the oppression of the male-dominated system. August 15 is the first step of the self-defense struggle of us women. Undoubtedly, if it were not for August 15, we would not be able to talk about women’s guerrilla or women’s struggle today. If we, as YJA Star guerrillas, are able to strike blow after blow against the invading Turkish army from Serhed to Zap and lead this war of honor, it is undoubtedly thanks to our 15 August resurrection move and its creator, Leader Apo.
OUR STRUGGLE IS LIVING THE PEAK
In this sense, our August 15 resurrection move showed us how to hit the fascist system, which sees nothing but oppression, denial and massacres, right in the heart. August 15 has been the most concrete indicator of how we will take revenge on all our historical sufferings. August 15 determined how we will protect our honor, our honor and our identity in the line of legitimate defense. Here, on the 39th anniversary of our glorious revenge move, which is full of great historical lessons, our struggle in every part of Kurdistan is at its peak. Today, we are still carrying out the most glorious resistance in our history against the war criminal Turkish army, equipped with all the advanced techniques of the age, with the enlightenment that the 15 August action spread to all Kurdistan mountains. Especially in the Medya Defense Areas and in each guerrilla position of Northern Kurdistan, Our comrades are gaining great victories in the spirit and military line of Commander Egîd. If the Turkish army is waging a relentless war against the resistance areas of the guerrilla with the support of all international powers, especially NATO, and all the war technology of the age, and cannot get results, this is undoubtedly the most concrete indication that the spirit of Egîd lives in the guerrilla positions. Our great guerrilla army and its self-sacrificing militants, created by our August 15 offensive, which the Turkish army said 39 years ago, ‘it is the work of a few bandits, we will finish it in two days’, is the biggest obstacle in front of the historical plans of the Turkish army today. Today, as Leader Apo’s guerrillas, we are becoming more and more Eğîdîd and Zîlanized in every battlefield where resistance takes place. With the spirit of success of our pioneer commanders, we are closer to victory than ever before.
PROMISE OF VICTORY
As we greet the 39th anniversary of August 15 at the resistance positions where the war was experienced in its most burning form, we reiterate our promise that we will certainly bring the spirit of rebellion together with victory in our resurrection move. In this sense, we state that we will hit the enemy more every day and embody the line of victory in our war, with the spiritual power and consciousness created in our hearts by our heroic martyrs who have fought in the Apoist line under all circumstances, from our Leader’s philosophy of free life and the commander Egîds and Zîlans to the present. On this basis, we celebrate the 15 August resurrection and guerrilla holiday, especially to Leader Apo, to the peoples of the Middle East and to our comrades.”
