STRASBOURG – There has been no news from Önder APO since March 25, 2021. Lastly, KCK Executive Council Member Sabri Ok stated that threatening letters were sent to Önder APO. In order to ensure the physical freedom of Leader APO, the youth of Kurdistan took the lead in many actions. Young people from Kurdistan are still carrying out simultaneous actions at three different points in Strasbourg.
One of these action points is the European Court of Human Rights building. The youth, who came together at noon, are now carrying out a civil disobedience action in the building. Making a statement regarding the action they took, the youth called “We want to hear from Leader APO immediately and we want all necessary measures to be taken to ensure his physical freedom”.
After the action, a group of young people went inside the European Court of Human Rights building and as other young people came to support the action, the police stoped them with shields and anti riot gear. The actions continues…
