NEWS CENTER – The lands of Kurdistan are the haunts of war. These lands, the cradle of massacre, plunder, destruction and endless suffering, have relied only on those brave and brave children, those who devote themselves to it with all their cells, blood and soul. Ali Tolhildan (Metin Karaboğa) is one of the thousands of heroes who invested his life, soul and talent in this cause and became martyred by fighting for this cause.
Metin Karaboğa was born in Dîlok (Antep) province of Kurdistan in June 1999 to a patriotic and poor family.
The Karaboğa family is originally from Sêrt, but due to the financial difficulties they had, they had to migrate and settled in Dilok. Metin Karaboğa, who realizes the financial situation of his family at a young age and considers himself responsible for this issue, is introduced to the concept of labor. Living by labor becomes his first and basic principle.
As he experiences the Kurdish reality and the pain of his forbidden language, his contradictions and searches begin to increase. In the face of the reality he constantly encounters, he showers his family and people with questions. Its purpose is to know what and who they are, to try to figure out the reason for the ban.
These pursuits lead him to youth work. Karaboğa, whose contradictions increased even more, understood what he would choose when he saw the real life construction of Rêber Apo and started to seek to reach the ranks of freedom. He first made a move to break away from the family in order to attend the Amed Newroz on March 21, 2014. Unable to reach the ranks of freedom in the first place, Karaboğa does not give up and attends Rêber Apo’s birthday on April 4, 2014 in Amara. He determines today as the year of his own rebirth and proceeds to lead his life endlessly in the ranks of freedom.
After Metin Karaboğa joined the guerrilla ranks, he took the name Ali Tolhildan. For Guerrilla Ali Tolhildan, the enemy should never be comfortable even on the smallest piece of land in Kurdistan. Bakur is an endless love and passion for guerrilla Tolhildan, who fights against the enemy in many areas such as Zagros, Avaşîn and Metîna. Martyr Ali Tolhildan, who never hesitates to share his pure and pure love with his comrades, reflects his laments in his heart against the reality of martyrdom.
HE FIGHTED HONORLY TO HIS LAST BREATH
Ali Tolhildan, who managed to be a great revolutionary with his humble side, took part in the Metina resistance against the invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state on the areas of Metina, Zap and Avaşîn on April 23, 2021.
Ali Tolhildan, who was preparing for his Bakur journey, took part in many studies and command levels with his laboring and self-sacrificing participation, involved in practices in the field of Metîna. Guerrilla Tolhildan, who duly fulfilled many of his responsibilities during the war, was assigned with the responsibility of mobile units. He is in charge of the mobile unit in the Koordine, Hirore, Tirvaniş and finally Tepe Hekarî regions of Metîna.
Tolhildan, who was at the forefront of the protests and devotedly working in many parts of the Metîna area until his martyrdom, is both a response to the process and a sensitive approach to protecting his comrades. With his actions, he does not neglect to be a source of morale and strength for his comrades who are in the war tunnels.
Ali Tolhildan, who managed to become an exemplary commander with his courageous and assertive stance, joins the caravan of martyrs as a result of the attack of the Turkish state on July 5, 2022, together with his comrades Rojhat Kurdistan and Bahoz Bagok.
