BEHDINAN – According to the information received, the KDP forces are advancing into the depths of the Zap by digging a road on the slopes of the mountains. KDP forces, which have established bases on the southern front of the Zap, are trying to open new roads to the invading Turkish state. It was seen that the KDP’s buckets opened roads on the southern slope of the Zap incessantly, held different points and deployed large military forces to the region.
On August 2, KDP forces had dispatched a large force to the Amediye district of Bashure Kurdistan and from there to the guerrilla areas.
KDP forces have been directly supporting the invading Turkish state’s attacks for a long time and have often become partners in their attacks. In many areas of resistance, the Turkish state acts with the support of the KDP in order to advance against the guerrilla. There was also information that Turkish forces acted with their peshmerga identities, especially in the Zap, and launched attacks on the guerrilla by leaving the outposts belonging to the Barzani family.
On July 29-30, the KDP supported the Turkish state’s operation against the Girê Ortê Resistance Area in the Metîna region. In a written statement, HPG stated that the occupiers punished here were removed from the area with the help of KDP forces and by road.
In another statement dated July 30, HPG said, “The Turkish army, which has been inconclusive in the face of our forces’ resistance, is attacking our forces in the Girê Ortê Resistance Area of Metîna and trying to settle in this area with the cooperation of the KDP.”
