BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues to welcome the Resurrection Day with actions with the Spirit of 15 August. The invading Turkish army is lying by claiming that we have 4 casualties in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area in order to cover up the heavy blow it received in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area and to deceive the public. All of our comrades are solid and are on their duty.”
HPG announced the following details regarding guerrilla actions and invasion attacks:
Martyr Delîl West Zap region;
- At 06:00 on August 10, the invaders who took action in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with medium automatic weapons and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 10, at 12:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with medium automatic weapons.
- Between 20:20 and 24:00 on 10 August, helicopters that wanted to land in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were intervened 4 times.
- On August 11, at 01:40, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
Xakurke region;
- On August 4, at 18:18, the positions belonging to the invaders in the Girê Martyr Derwêş area were targeted and hit with heavy weapons. In this action carried out by our YJA Star forces, 2 invaders were punished and 1 position was destroyed.
Gever region;
- On August 6, at 18:00, our forces in the Gever region noticed and destroyed 1 camera shutter belonging to the invading Turkish army. After this action, the invading Turkish army launched an operation around the village of Memkava in Gever. This operation, which lasted two days, was withdrawn without result.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 10 August, the Girê Spring Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region 5 times, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area 5 times, the Girê Zengil and Gundê Zêvkê areas of Garê 2 times; It was bombed with warplanes 12 times in total.
- On 10 August, Girê Cûdî Resistance Area was bombed 12 times with attack helicopters.
- Zap, Martyr Delîl Batı Zap and Metîna regions were bombed with artillery.”
