PARIS – KJK organized activities in two places with the slogan “Against male-dominated attacks, we are with the women of Afghanistan and Shengal”. French women expressed their support for the KJK campaign.
The first event was held on the Larzac plateau by Internationalist Women. When the camp was installed on August 3-9, Jiyan wrote “Women, Jiyan, Freedom” on her body and gave this message: “During the ‘Resistance’ meetings, we show that we are supporters of Afghan and Shengali women. Capitalist modernity, which is based on patriarchy, is at the root of the murder of women, nature and life. Our response to these attacks will be the support and organization of women with an internationalist perspective.'”
The second message of support was given through an event organized by the Coordination of Feminist Women of France. The women who came together after the event pointed out that women were massacred on August 3 in Singal and on August 15 in Afghanistan, and a message was given for self-defense against the massacre of women. The women shouted: “Against patriarchy, all dictatorships, long live the support of women! Self-defense against ISIS and the Taliban! Women, life, freedom.”
