BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla entered its 40th year of struggle with active action. In the actions of our forces; 6 invaders were punished, 2 invaders were injured. In addition, while 1 mobesse camera system was destroyed, many positions and military equipment were also damaged.”
The following were stated regarding the action carried out by the guerrilla forces and the attacks of the invading Turkish army:
“Martyr Delîl West Zap region;
- On August 14, at 06:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot with the assassination tactic, and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 14, at 07:00 and 19:30, the positions belonging to the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 14, at 15:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with medium automatic and heavy weapons, and 1 invader was punished. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 15, at 01:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons, targeting them from both sides, and 1 invader was punished.
- On August 15, at 02:00, the position in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area containing the military materials belonging to the invaders was hit with heavy weapons. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- At 02:50 on August 15, the positions belonging to the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons and 1 position was hit. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- When the invaders gathered at the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area at 05:00 on 15 August, they were targeted with heavy weapons and the 2 invaders were punished.
- On August 15, at 06:00, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with the assassination tactic and 1 invader was wounded. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- At 06:05, 13:55, 14:10 and 18:05 on August 15, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons and 3 positions were hit.
- Our forces intervened 7 times in the helicopter movement in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area between 20:00 and 22:30 on August 15.
- At 02:10 on August 16, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted with the assassination tactic, and 1 invader was wounded. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
- On August 16, at 02:10, 02:30 and 03:00, heavy weapons in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and hit from both sides in a coordinated manner and 2 positions were hit.
- On August 16, at 03:30, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot with the assassination tactic, and 1 invader was punished.
Zap region;
- On August 14, at 19:30, 1 mobesse camera system belonging to the invaders in the Sîda Resistance Area was hit and destroyed with an assassination tactic.
- At 07:00 on August 16, the bucket trying to destroy the battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area was targeted with heavy weapons. After the action the bucket stopped working.
Xakurke region;
- On August 14, at 16:07, the invaders in Girê Martyr Derwêş were hit with heavy weapons. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 14 August, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was 3 times, and the Sinînê, Komatê and Kendekolê areas of Xakurkê 4 times; It was bombed with warplanes 7 times in total.
- Zap, Martyr Delîl West Zap and Metîna regions were bombed with artillery.”
