NEWS CENTER – History repeats itself once again in the person of the heroes of this country. The devotees and devotees of this land put their stamp on the era of people’s freedom with their existence and the epics they created. Our comrade Çiçek Kiliç, nicknamed Mezra Botan, joined the ranks of freedom in 2015 with the aim of taking revenge from the corrupt system of the invading and genocidal Turkish state. Comrade Mezra had a brave personality in the ranks of freedom and in his person expressed the culture of the resistant people of Botana. Comrade Mezra had such a personality in the Rojava Revolution that she had a place in the hearts and minds of all her comrades and was one of the workers of this revolution. Just as the revolution flows in great enthusiasm and gives new life to all the souls of this land, she also became the same great enthusiasm and morale for her comrades.
In her heart and mind, the belief of success was never lacking. Because it is believed that success can only be achieved through hard work. Comrade Mezra approached all her revolutionary tasks with this knowledge. In order to be a part of this revolution, first of all, she deeply immersed herself in the principles and demands of women’s liberation. This sonship had formed a close friendship in the person of Mezra’s friend until the end.
Mezra grew up with the resistant culture of Botan without hearing the screams of the underground heroes of Cizîr and without forgetting the mother of Taybet who stayed on the ground for days in the streets of Silopi, she continued to fight to avenge those screams. The oath of heroes is as great as Mezra Botan’s, so every moment of their lives is as meaningful as their honor.
In order to reach her goal, after a full practice, Mezra turns to the field of Sequential training. In 2018, she developed in the art of Sekvantiye (sniper) and actively conducted work in the revolution. On October 9, 2019, when the occupying Turkish state moved to the holy land, the hero Mezraya raised his weapon on her shoulders and went to Girê Spî. Those who are not satisfied with the bloodshed of the children of this region are turning to the destruction of the country of Egid and Gulisors in a dirty and cruel way. Comrade Mezra fought against the invaders with a high spirit to the screams of children, the screams of the elderly and the voices of mothers with a burning heart. Like all heroes, the brave girl had sworn that the jealous would never set foot on the holy land. She became the defender of her country in every moment of her life with the sword she threw on her shoulders. Mezra’s brave heart was always a source of morale, strength and confidence for his comrades in the resistance positions. Gulisora Soresh swore on the blood of his relatives that even a part of the territory of this country is occupied, he will not stop his struggle and he will always be the watchman to fulfill his promise. After seeing the facts of the occupation, Mezra’s friend is even more attached to the values of the revolution and becomes more active.
Our comrade, a brave Mezra Botan, while defending the honor and identity of his people, reached the level of martyrdom on June 17, 2023 in the city of Eyn Isa as a result of the bombing of the Turkish state. First of all, we want to express our condolences to the family of our dear friend of Mezra Botan and the entire people who have the determination to reach a free woman.
The occupiers and enemies forget that this Revolution becomes even bigger and stronger with our martyred comrades. As comrades of Mezra, we will not allow the flag that we have taken from to be lowered in the skies of the country of the sun. The fans and loyalists of this country will always turn to the fulfillment of half-baked dreams with the aim of revenge. We will never forget the promise we made to Egîd and Gülisors of this land. Our promise will be to fulfill the dreams of our friends.
