“Our comrades Mîrza and Bengîn, who were on duty in the Kanî Xezale area in the Besta region of Botan at the night of July 3, 2023, were martyred as a result of the enemy attacks that lasted until July 4. Our comrades Mîrza and Bengîn, who hit the ground, succeeded in becoming competent commanders of the Democratic Modernity Guerrilla, and played an active role in fighting with great determination for years, with their insistence on the Apoist line and their unwavering belief in victory.
We extend our condolences to all patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed patriotic families of our comrades Mîrza and Bengîn, who will always lead us with their stance, courage and valor.

MIRZA BARGIRAN
Our comrade Mîrza was born in the Sêrt district of a patriotic family belonging to the Dudêran tribe. He grew up with strong patriotic feelings stemming from the family and environment he grew up in. Our comrade Mîrza, who is a smart and hardworking young man, studied until high school. But when he saw that Turkish public schools were trying to assimilate and Turkify Kurdish youth, he dropped out of Turkish schools despite being a successful student. Our comrade Mîrza, who is a talented young man, had a sportsmanlike personality who was successful in many sports, from running to wrestling, from volleyball to tennis. At the same time, he worked in various jobs, from animal husbandry to tradesman, to contribute to the family economy. Comrade Mîrza, who has known the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle since his childhood and has great patriotic feelings in his heart, He was interested in the struggle for existence and freedom of the Kurdish people. He took part in patriotic and revolutionary youth work by embarking on the struggle at a young age. The colonialist, genocidal Turkish state that wanted to prevent the activities of Comrade Mîrza, an active and brave young man, arrested him in 2010 and imprisoned him. Comrade Mîrza, who stayed in the dungeon for 6 months, got to know the reality of the enemy and the freedom struggle of his people better during this time. As soon as he got out of the dungeon, he participated in social work again. His mature personality, humble stance, and his participation, which infused moral values and measures into his character, influenced every environment he went to, every person he spoke to, and especially young people. Believing that the Kurdish people can only become conscious and fight by organizing under the leadership of the Party, and that they can achieve their freedom in this way, he focused on the organization of our people. However, this active march of our comrade Mîrza again attracted the attention of the enemy and he was held captive for 3 months in 2011. Our comrade Mîrza, who became more conscious and competent as he was oppressed and imprisoned by the enemy, whose determination to fight grew, never took a step back in the face of the enemy. As he came out of the dungeon, he continued his struggle from where he left off, without any search for individual life and without accepting the fall back. He worked in Sêrt in 2011 and 2012, which represents an important process of our Revolutionary People’s War. However, he was arrested again in 2012 by the anti-Kurdish fascist Turkish state and was imprisoned for 2 years. Comrade Mîrza approached the dungeon environment as a revolutionary academy; Mazlum Doğan answered as a revolutionary who sharpened his will by following the footsteps of Hayri Durmuş, Kemal Pir and Sakine Cansızlar. No pressure from the Turkish state could ever subdue him or make him give up on his decision. Comrade Mîrza became a Party cadre by reaching the decision to become a fully professional revolutionary in this process. As soon as he got out of the dungeon at the beginning of 2014, he joined the work as a professional revolutionary. He carried out activities at all levels, from youth work to social construction work. He took a role in the democratic solution process and carried out the activities of organizing our people, and took office at the level of spokesperson in the Sêrt City Council. However, the genocidal Turkish state has again started to block the way of our comrade Mîrza and hinder his work. Seeing this situation, our comrade Mîrza realized that he could no longer work in the field of democratic politics and joined the guerrilla ranks in the Herekol region of Botan on June 7, 2014. could not reverse his decision. Comrade Mîrza became a Party cadre by reaching the decision to become a fully professional revolutionary in this process. As soon as he got out of the dungeon at the beginning of 2014, he joined the work as a professional revolutionary. He carried out activities at all levels, from youth work to social construction work. He took a role in the democratic solution process and carried out the activities of organizing our people, and took office at the level of spokesperson in the Sêrt City Council. However, the genocidal Turkish state has again started to block the way of our comrade Mîrza and hinder his work.
Comrade Mîrza, who resides in the mountains of Kurdistan, where Kurds can express themselves most freely and live their identity, received a new warrior training in Herekol. His mature personality, consciousness with the Party culture, experience in the dungeon and the accumulation of his activities enabled our comrade Mîrza to join the guerrilla life early. Comrade Mîrza, who started the revolutionary march in the mountains of Kurdistan with fast steps, carried out works in many places from Berwarî to Garisa, from Herekol to Garzan. Comrade Mîrza, who had a strong command of the land, fast pace, fast walking, strong will and high military sensitivity, carried out his duty as a courier. He transferred countless of his comrades from Botan to Garzan and from Garzan to Botan. He successfully overcame all the obstacles of the enemy and successfully delivered all the groups he took responsibility for. Our comrade Mirza, He became an exemplary guerrilla who was able to learn and complete this work, which required years of vast guerrilla experience, very quickly. His interest in military art led our comrade Mîrza to specialize in the guerrilla and in 2015 he received specialization training on assassination tactics in Botan. This training he received made our comrade Mîrza master the guerrilla tactics and war technique. Comrade Mîrza, who moved to the Herekol region again with the strength he received from education; It responded to the total destruction attacks launched by the colonialist, genocidal Turkish state against the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle on July 24, 2015. He participated wholeheartedly in the active activism process. When the fascist Turkish state started to attack the cities of Kurdistan with the aim of genocide, the Kurdish people developed their self-government resistance. Our comrade Mîrza too, He participated in this process, feeling responsible for our people in Sêrt, where he was born and raised and carried out revolutionary activities for years. Comrade Mîrza, one of the leading militants of the self-government resistance in Sêrt, worked with great sacrifice to develop and strengthen the self-defense of our people. On July 15, 2016, the self-government resistance move developed in Sêrt coincided with the coup that took place on the same day as a result of coincidence. Since the coup was on the agenda all over Turkey, the resistance, which was a very successful revolutionary move, was never on the agenda. However, in this revolutionary move, most of the city of Sêrt fell into the hands of our comrades, the forces of the invading Turkish state received heavy blows, the people of Sêrt received great morale and hundreds of young people gathered around our comrades. However, with the power reckoning within the Turkish state system gaining a different dimension, Our comrades withdrew from the city of Sêrt in order not to provide grounds for provocations. Our comrade Mîrza went down in history by playing a role as one of the most active and leading militants of this resistance process.
After returning from Sêrt, he took his place in the mobile teams of the Botan field. He stayed in these teams for a year, commanded, carried out important activities and participated in actions. Comrade Mîrza played a decisive role in every action he participated in with his high courage, fearless heart, mastery of guerrilla tactics, high practical intelligence and hard work. In April 2017, the invading Turkish state launched a very comprehensive invasion operation that would last for months in the Kato and Herekol regions of Botan. The invading Turkish army, which placed soldiers in the whole of Herekol and directed all its war techniques here, aimed to liquidate the guerrilla presence there. However, the epic resistance that developed in Herekol under the leadership of Comrade Egîd Garzan (Murat Kalko), one of our immortal commanders, who is the Herekol regional commander, did not let the enemy pass. He stopped the enemy on the summit of Herekol Mountain and in its labyrinths and inflicted heavy losses. Our comrade Mîrza crossed into the Herekol region with the mobile team he commanded to deal a blow to the invasion operation carried out by the invading enemy against Herekol and intertwined with the enemy. With great courage, he struck the enemy here, causing the invasion operation to receive heavy blows. Comrade Mîrza was injured in his leg and arm in a clash that took place here. Although he remained alone and wounded in the field for days, he managed to reach his comrades intact, bypassing all the invaders and enemy technique. He was treated with the support of his comrades for two months, with Bakur’s little means. As soon as he got better, he went back to his post and made his way to Herekol. In order to deal a blow to the invasion operation carried out by the invading enemy against Herekol, he moved to the Herekol region together with the mobile team he commanded and became intertwined with the enemy. With great courage, he struck the enemy here, causing the invasion operation to receive heavy blows. Comrade Mîrza was injured in his leg and arm in a clash that took place here. Although he remained alone and wounded in the field for days, he managed to reach his comrades intact, bypassing all the invaders and enemy technique.
From 2017 to 2023, he carried out a very active practice by taking great responsibility in the fields of Herekol and Besta. Our comrade Mîrza waged a non-stop, breathless struggle for 9 years in the Botan mountains. He was able to overcome every obstacle with the will of great revolution, perseverance, determination and effort he created in his personality. Our comrade Mîrza made a revolution and struggled in the most difficult conditions and in the most scarce conditions. His high Party consciousness, his understanding of the Leadership ideology, and his capture of the Apoist style and tempo made him an extraordinary and successful commander. The enemy who dreamed of ousting the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla from Bakur became a nightmare. He has been the architect of many successful actions, fruitful works and practices that have brought great benefits to our struggle. Comrade Mirza could not find the opportunity to study in military academies, but he has turned every moment of life into education, every stone he leans on and every tree he sits under into an academy. He trained himself on the basis of the Leadership ideology in every moment of life and in every place. Comrade Mîrza, who always remained loyal to the memories of his comrades who died next to him, made the experiences he received from them the basis of the revolutionary march. Our people, who have existed throughout history with their free will, language, culture and identity and integrated with the ancient geography of Kurdistan, have never bowed down to the attacks on their existence, and have fought against the occupation and the invaders in the mountains that have turned their backs into a center of resistance. The transfer of the resistance culture from generation to generation through dengbêjs brought along an uninterrupted line of struggle in Kurdistan. In order to establish dominance in Kurdistan and the Middle East, the imperialist powers separated the ancient lands where our people lived for millennia with artificial borders, creating a new era of serhildan, and our patriotic people did not give in to the dirty plans of the colonialists and started resistance again. Our patriotic people, whose existence is in great danger in the face of the most brutal attacks of assimilation, denial and destruction in history, Our party, which developed under the leadership of Rêber Apo, emerged on the stage of history with the PKK, once again and with great glory. The free Kurdish identity that was covered with concrete was resurrected with the freedom march of Rêber Apo. Rêber Apo, who inherited the ancient heritage of our people’s resistance and brought them together with the line of victory, made our struggle, which he developed step by step, invincible, and created a people of serhildan who integrated with the reality of the fighting people.
The fire of resistance lit by the PKK dealt the first major blow to the colonialists with the 14 July Great Dungeon Resistance, and moved from the cities to the plains and from the plains to the peaks of the ancient mountains of Kurdistan under the leadership of our immortal commander Egîd. Our struggle, which our immortal martyrs raised by shedding their blood drop by drop despite the greatest difficulties, was reflected on our people with the first sparks of resistance and was embraced with great enthusiasm by our people who were dying under the genocide attacks. Our people, who gained strength from the historical guerrilla resistance, welcomed our martyrs of struggle with serhildans and embraced them. Our city of Merdin, which was one of the centers where serhildan culture first developed in the early 90’s, when our resistance became popular, duly protected the historical line of resistance and brought it to the top together with the PKK. On March 14, 1990, Merdîn, Our people of Mêrdîn, who stood up with the serhildans to claim the ARGK guerrillas who were martyred after a great resistance in Girê Şêra, Stewrê, which has always been the center of the insurgents, started a new era in Kurdistan. The valiant sons of our people, united with the invincible spirit of the PKK, have flocked to the ranks of the struggle and have always waved the flag of struggle left by our immortals at the highest levels.
Comrade Bengîn was born in the patriotic Barman village of Mêrdîn, Stewrê, one of the centers of the resistance and serhildan tradition created in Kurdistan with the freedom march of Rêber Apo. The first identity of our comrade developed in an environment where social ties strongly adhered to the Kurdistani tradition, managed to protect itself to a large extent from the society-destroying features of the capitalist system, and whose essence was intact. Our comrade, who grew up in a working family that makes a living with livestock, learned the ancient history of resistance and struggle of our people, intertwined with the heavenly nature of Kurdistan and with the clams he heard from his father. The ancient words that he engraved in his heart made a great impact on our comrade Bengîn and he became a representative of the ancient dengbêj culture. The fact that he witnessed the attacks developed by the invading Turkish state against our people brought about a great anger against our comrade against the colonialists. Our comrade, who became integrated with the land he lived in and grew up with the rich nature of Kurdistan, had strong patriotic feelings from an early age. Comrade Bengîn, who closely followed the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, was impressed by the legendary guerrilla stories and reflected the deep feelings in his heart on his words and poems from an early age. Comrade Bengîn, who won the great love and respect of the patriotic people of Barman, with whom he lives, with his pure essence and sensitive personality, dreamed of the day when he would join the guerrilla from an early age.
Comrade Bengîn, who is proud to join the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in the lands where he was born and raised with deep love, had the chance to carry out his first guerrilla practice in Bakurê Kurdistan. Our comrade Bengîn, who knew the importance of this chance and made good use of it, became one of our comrades who quickly adapted to the difficult conditions, cooked in practice, became competent and became a commander. Our comrade, who had his first guerrilla experience in the field of Mêrdîn, later moved to the Botan area, where he would stay for many years and carry out a successful practice. Our comrade Bengîn, who remained in almost every inch of Botan, the center of guerrillaism, especially Besta and Gabar, practiced and dealt heavy blows to the invaders in the actions he participated in, embodied the spirit of victory of the new era. Comrade Bengîn, who responded to the invasion attacks of the colonial Turkish army with his comrades on the front line and successfully put the new era guerrilla tactics into practice, led his comrades in life and war as an expert guerrilla. Every moment in the guerrilla life of our comrade Bengîn, who avenged his martyred comrades with successful actions he took and took part in, and who dealt heavy blows to the invaders in the most impossible places and conditions, is intertwined with success. Our comrade Bengî, who has been practicing successfully in the footsteps of our immortal commander Egîd in Botan, the center of Bakurê Kurdistan for 5 years, later moved to the Medya Defense Zones. With the military specialization and academy training he received, he deepened his level of consciousness and captured a great depth in the ideological field. Our comrade, who made the Rêber Apo philosophy the basis of his life, He transferred what he learned to his comrades and reflected them to life.
