BEHDINAN – “On the occasion of the anniversary, we commemorate all our martyrs of the dungeon and struggle with love, respect and gratitude in the person of M. Hayri Durmuş, Kemal Pir, Akif Yılmaz and Ali Çiçek who were martyrs of the Great Death Fast of 14 July, and we pledge to keep their memories alive, to achieve their goals and to be worthy of these comrades. We repeat once again,” the statement said:
“41. The Great Death Fast Resistance on July 14, which left its year behind, has deeply affected all our struggle processes since that day, has always preserved its function as a main source from which our resistance against fascism feeds, and as the spirit of resistance and victory line, we stand up for our comrades against intense oppression and torture in the dungeons. It continues its existence with the vitality of the first day in the honor resistance it displays and the determined stance of our people who do not take a step back despite all the attacks.
THE SPIRIT OF JULY 14 HAS NO ROOM FOR HOPE
First of all, and most importantly, sticking to big goals and focusing on the success of it, organizing yourself accordingly is the first step in the victory march. The line of victory, embodied in the person of the July 14 Resistance, basically won victory based on faith, spirituality, devotion, great thinking, right understanding, determined stance and self-organized militant reality. Not the opportunity, the possibility, the material, the suitability of the conditions. On the contrary, the lack of opportunities and conditions has been the basis for resistance and has become the reason for success. This is a Leadership style and has been a core character of our movement since its inception. This style, expressed by the Leader as “being a rose on a rock”, found its strongest practical expression in the July 14th Resistance.
There is no room for despair in the spirit of the July 14 resistance. There is an endless dedication to his hopes and ideals and a lock on to his success. There is no room for impossibilities in the spirit of July 14 resistance. On the contrary, it is the name of the organized human will overcoming all kinds of possibilities and power, even in the most scarce conditions. The spirit of resistance on July 14 is the most meaningful response to how to live an honorable life. The spirit of July 14 resistance is the virtue of living by feeling that those who love “too much to die for their life” are dying, feeling that they are “indebted to their people” while they melt down cell by cell. And the spirit of July 14 resistance is the pinnacle of devotion to Leader Apo, our great martyrs and our heroic people, and the most meaningful, conscious and determined expression. That’s why, 14 July, the date when this spirit was fermented, was announced as the “National Day of Honor” by our people and our movement.
RESISTANCE IS CONDUCTED ON JULY 14 VICTORY LINE
Today, the fascist Turkish State, which is backed by world and regional reaction and collaborative betrayal, wants to bring the genocidal attacks against our struggle and our people to a conclusion, relying on the most advanced warfare technique of the 21st century. Against this, a heroic and epic struggle in all areas on the basis of our Leader’s Imrali Resistance is being waged on the line of victory on July 14, and all the enemy’s policies of destruction are left inconclusive. The spirit of July 14 resistance and the victory line that defeated the fascism of September 12 is the only way and spirit to defeat the Turkish State fascism embodied in AKP-MHP fascism, to liberate our people on the basis of our Leader’s physical freedom, and to democratize Turkey and the Middle East. In this sense, we say that we started with the spirit of July 14 resistance, and with this spirit, victory will be for us, our people and our peoples.”
