BEHDINAN – People’s Defense Center (NPG) Headquarters Command commemorated the martyrs of the 14 July Great Death Fast Resistance with a written statement on the 41st anniversary of their actions.

“On the 41st anniversary of the 14 July Great Death Fast Resistance, we commemorate all our martyrs with respect and gratitude in the person of Mehmet Hayri Durmuş, Kemal Pir, Akif Yılmaz and Ali Çiçek, the immortal pioneers of this historical resistance. We respectfully greet this holy act that determined the spirit, line and understanding of our half-century-old struggle for freedom, Rêber Apo, who created the comrades who exposed such lofty resistances, and the stance of free humanity that he has displayed by resisting in the Imrali Torture System for 25 years. We reiterate our promise to walk to victory by living and keeping this stance and resistance, understanding and spirit, life and struggle style alive in every moment and place we are in.
WE CELEBRATE THE NATIONAL DAY OF HONOR TO ALL OUR Comrades
The surrender, alienation and disidentification attack imposed by the fascist Turkish state on all Kurds and humanity in the person of PKK cadres in Amed Dungeons, with the heaviest torture, was met with great resistance. The 14 July Great Death Fast Resistance was developed with an understanding that puts its life on the line in order to protect its honor and identity in the environment of inhuman oppression, torture and persecution in the Amed Dungeon. It is a great and historical resistance that brings the Apoist spirit of sacrifice and resistance style into a line. It is the victory stance that reveals the invincible Apoist self-sacrificing spirit in an environment of impossibilities and inhuman brutal tortures. This historical resistance exhibited in the person of the leading cadres of our party, He bestowed a great honor on all his comrades and the Kurdish people who were his successors, and 14 July also became a National Day of Honor. We celebrate the National Pride Day of the patriotic Kurdish people and all our comrades who struggle in every field, especially in the dungeons.
JULY 14 LINE OF RESISTANCE HAS BEEN LEADING US FOR 41 YEARS
The July 14 resistance line, which led to the return of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla to the country and our Glorious 15 August Offensive, has been guiding us for 41 years and determining our line of struggle. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which has made fighting with the Apoist self-sacrificing spirit an indispensable part of its revolutionary life, is resisting today with the style revealed by the 14th of July. The stance of the guerrilla in Bakure Kurdistan and the epic resistance in the Medya Defense Zones, especially in Zap, Avaşîn and Metina, are being developed with the consciousness and spirit of July 14. Hundreds of our comrades in Bakur and in Medya Defense Zones, fighting with this spirit, stand against the enemy with an invincible will, and reach martyrdom by not compromising their bravery until their last breath. Two guerrillas in the person of comrades Xebat Kop and Zana Rojda stopped an army, An epic resistance was exhibited, in which he resisted all kinds of techniques, turning a shelter into a great resistance fortress, challenging the enemy and death. This stance has passed into our history of struggle as the last representatives of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla’s irresistible heroic stance and the continuation of this line. No matter if the genocidal colonial enemy attacks with the most inhumane warfare techniques, banned bombs and chemical weapons, and no matter if it puts the collaborator-treacherous factions into action, it has been proven that as long as the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla struggles with this understanding, consciousness, spirit and style, the victory of our people’s cause of existence and freedom will surely come true. As the last representatives of the undeniable heroic stance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla and the continuation of this line, the struggle has passed into our history. No matter if the genocidal colonial enemy attacks with the most inhumane warfare techniques, banned bombs and chemical weapons, and no matter if it puts the collaborator-treacherous factions into action, it has been proven that as long as the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla struggles with this understanding, consciousness, spirit and style, the victory of our people’s cause of existence and freedom will surely come true.

As we have done so far, we reiterate our promise that we will achieve the goals of our martyrs and fulfill their dreams by following the footsteps of our martyrs of the 14 July Great Death Fast Resistance and fighting with the style they created. We, as the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas, state that we are determined to crown the flag of resistance that we took over from the martyrs with the victory of the Kurdistan Freedom Revolution, and we salute all our patriotic people who resist with the belief of victory.”
