FRANKFURT AM MAIN – A commemoration event was held in Frankfurt am Main yesterday, at which Şehîd Zîlan remembered her struggle and pioneering role as a Kurdish woman on the anniversary of the Fedaî campaign. Internationalist friends and Kurdish youth and young women watched a video about Şehîd Zîlan together and read Heval Zîlan’s letter together.
At the end there was a question and answer session, in which the importance of the campaign and the spirit of self-sacrifice were discussed and the question of how young women today should do justice to this campaign.
The campaign ended with a musical contribution.
