BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “The invading Turkish army has launched a new invasion operation against Medya Defense Areas. The areas where the invading Turkish army had to retreat due to heavy blows from the guerrilla during the winter period became the target of this new attack. On July 14, Zap’s Kurojahro Resistance Area, and on July 19, with the overt support and cooperation of the KDP, invasion attacks began in the Girê Ortê Resistance Area of Metîna. On the night of 20 July, after intense aerial bombardments, an invasion attack began on the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region on the morning of 21 July.
Our forces responded effectively and dealt a heavy blow to the invaders against the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with the intense war technique and the support of the collaborators. The actions of our forces and the attacks of the invaders against the area continue,” he said.
HPG shared the following details regarding the action and the attacks by the Turkish army:
“Zap region;
- On July 10, Girê Martyr Tolhildan in the Kurojahro Resistance Area was bombed with warplanes and howitzers. After being bombarded with warplanes and howitzers on 12 July, the invaders were landed by helicopters. On 14 July, the invading Turkish army landed the invaders with helicopters on the Girê Martyr Harun, Girê Martyr Tolhildan and Girê Martyr Dîdar areas of the Kurojahro Resistance Area, where it had to withdraw during the winter process. The attacks of the invaders in Saca, Kokerê, Kurojahro and Karker Resistance Areas continue.
Martyr Delîl West Zap region;
- On July 19, at 07:00, the invaders in the Girê FM Resistance Area were hit once with heavy weapons as they took action.
- On July 20, at 17:10, 1 jammer device belonging to the invaders in the Girê FM Resistance Area was destroyed by an assassination tactic.
- On July 20, at 20:30, the invading Turkish army bombed the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area 41 times with warplanes and 22 times with attack helicopters. After the intense bombardment, at 03:30, the invaders landed 10 times with helicopters on Girê Martyr Zagros in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area.
- At 06:00 on 21 July, the invaders who wanted to advance from Girê Martyr Zagros in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area to Girê Martyr Şîlan were targeted and shot 7 times with different tactics, and the advance of the invaders was stopped.
Avaşîn region;
- On July 17, at 10:00, the invaders in the Tabura Ereban Resistance Area were targeted and hit with coordinated guerrilla tactics. It was determined that the mobile teams effectively hit with individual and heavy weapons, and 3 invaders were punished in this action. The invaders took their dead from the area by helicopter at 24:00. The attacks of the invaders in the area continue.
ATTACK BY KDP SUPPORT IN METIN
Metina region;
- At 06:00 on July 19, the invading Turkish army took action from the KDP forces in the Girê Ortê area of Metîna and started an operation by advancing from the land. Taking action from the KDP point, the invaders advanced towards Neqeba Tirvaniş and Şehîd Piling areas. Taking action from the KDP’s point in the Girê Ortê area on July 20 at 09:30, the invaders placed surveillance vehicles in the Girê Ortê area. KDP forces openly turned their position into the invading Turkish army’s operation point and helped the invaders attack our forces from there. This operation, which the KDP openly cooperated with and supported the invaders, still continues.
INVASTORS AGAIN WITH TACTICAL NUCLEAR BOMB
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs;
- On July 11 and 12, our positions in Zap’s Kokerê Resistance Area were bombed 4 times with tactical nuclear bombs.
- On 20 July, our positions in Zap’s Sîda Resistance Area were bombed once with a tactical nuclear bomb.
AIR AND LAND ATTACKS CONTINUE
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- The invading Turkish army attacked our positions in the Sîda Resistance Area of Zap and the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region on July 17, 18 and 19, and tried to pierce the tunnels and demolish them with bulldozers.
- On July 18 and 19, the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was bombed 3 times, and the Girê Ortê and Girê Hakkarî Resistance Areas of Metîna were bombed 8 times, 5 times.
- On 20 July, the Girê Spring Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was 7 times, the Girê Amadiyê Resistance Area once, and the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area 41 times; bombed with warplanes a total of 49 times
- On July 18, the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area in Metîna was 14 times, and on July 20, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region 22 times; It was bombed by attack helicopters a total of 36 times.
- On 17, 18, 19 and 20 July, Zap’s Sîda Resistance Area, Martyr Delîl West Zap area, Avaşîn’s Tabura Ereban Resistance Area, Metîna’s Golka, Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area and Xakurkê’s Girê Martyr Heqî, Girê Martyr’s Heqî, Girê Martyrdom Kamuran, 5 heavy weaponry areas were bombarded.
