BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “The effective resistance of our forces against the invasion attacks of the Turkish army continues. Desperate in the face of the actions of our forces, the invaders are bombing the Resistance Areas from the air and from the ground. The Turkish state, which could not achieve its goal and suffered a heavy blow, hides these facts and does not reflect them to the public. False information is also served to the public about guerrilla casualties.
We have not suffered any loss in the Medya Defense Areas since the attacks that started on 20 July in Girê Cûdî, there is no contact with one of our comrades at the moment. The private war media of the Turkish state portrayed guerrilla casualties as if they had not been experienced and ignoring the losses of the Turkish army, it presents a picture based on lies to the public. These reports of the Turkish private war media should not be trusted. Clarified information about the enemy attacks and the resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla will be shared with our people and the public from now on, as it has been up to now.”
Details of the actions carried out by the guerrilla forces and the attacks carried out by the Turkish army are as follows:
Martyr Delîl West Zap region;
- At 06:20 on 23 July, the invaders trying to position themselves in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our YJA Star moving teams and 1 invader was injured.
- At 09:25 on 23 July, the invaders who tried to position themselves in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- On July 23, at 14:40, the invaders who tried to position themselves in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot with an assassination tactic, 1 invader was punished and 1 mobesse camera system was destroyed.
- At 17:20 on 23 July, the occupiers who tried to position themselves in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit and hit by our YJA Star forces and the occupants’ positioning was prevented. At 19:00 and 19:30, the invaders, who took action again, were hit and beaten.
- Between 01:30 and 01:50 on July 24, helicopters trying to land the invaders on the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were intervened 4 times and their landing was prevented. Intercepted helicopters had to move away from the area.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On July 24, the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was 4 times, the Girê Bahar Resistance Area 4 times, the Gundê Şêlazê and Golka areas of Metîna 3 times; It was bombed with warplanes 11 times in total.
- On July 24, Girê Cûdî Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region was bombed with 21 attack helicopters.
- Zap and Martyr Delîl West Zap region were bombed dozens of times with cannons.”
