“Our comrade Ali Fırat, an Apoist self-defeating militant and a relentless follower of the Zilan line, encountered the Turkish state police while on duty in Manisa on July 13, 2018. He was executed by the enemy while he was unarmed, and was martyred. We commemorate our comrade, whose martyrdom incident and information were clarified by us, with respect on the anniversary of his martyrdom. We take this opportunity to express our condolences to his precious family and patriotic people of Kurdistan.
We promise that we will never leave the blood of our martyrs, who are followers of Zilan, like Comrade Ali, on the ground, that we will base the marches of sacrifice and that we will achieve their goals.

Our comrade Ali Fırat was born in a patriotic family belonging to the Alîkan tribe in the Xîzan district of Bedlîs. He grew up with the ancient social culture and patriotism of the Garzan region. He migrated to Mersin with his family when he was a child and grew up there. Our comrade Ali, who studied until high school, left school after a while and worked as a worker to contribute to the family economy. Here he realized the phenomenon of labor, the working class, and what kind of an exploitation system was built on the labor of the working class. Our comrade Ali, who has deep contradictions with the current order life, thought about social contradictions and problems and went on a quest. While seeking solutions to social problems, he also explored different ideologies and tendencies, but eventually became interested in the patriotic revolutionary youth and became involved in its activities. Our comrade Ali, who participated in both youth work and serhildans, recognized the reality of the Kurdish people, the relentless struggle for existence and freedom of the Kurdish people, by seeing the price paid in this struggle. At the same time, Comrade Ali, who became acquainted with the ideology and philosophy of Rêber Apo, gained the power of looking at the world from a completely different perspective and developing a radical and revolutionary solution to every social problem. The more our comrade Ali read Rêber Apo, the more he struggled with the excitement of the thought and solution power that emerged in him. He was particularly impressed by the martyred comrades, and he was convinced that the martyrs should join the guerrilla ranks in order to raise the flag of struggle and realize their dreams. Acting with this awareness, Comrade Ali joined the guerrilla ranks in Amed in 2013. In this process, the Kurdish people recognized the reality, the relentless struggle for existence and freedom of the Kurdish people, by seeing the costs incurred in this struggle. At the same time, Comrade Ali, who became acquainted with the ideology and philosophy of Rêber Apo, gained the power of looking at the world from a completely different perspective and developing a radical and revolutionary solution to every social problem. Our comrade Ali, who joined the guerrilla’s spiritual comradeship environment in Amed, started his first guerrilla practice here. The comradeship of the guerrillas in Amed and the excitement of being a guerrilla in Bakur gave Comrade Ali an indescribable joy. As a result of the withdrawal developed on the basis of the democratic solution process in 2013, he moved from Amed to Medya Defense Zones. He was organized in the Heftanîn region after he moved to the Medya Defense Areas and received his first guerrilla training. He carried out active guerrilla activities, inhaling the smell of Botan lands in the far north of Heftanîn. He practiced in Heftanîn’s Deriyê Dawetiya field, gained experience and gained significant knowledge. Our comrade Ali, who is an enlightened and intelligent young man, attached great importance to educating himself ideologically, in addition to practical activities and mastering the art of war. He focused on the writings of our martyred comrades, especially the analysis and defense of Rêber Apo. What impressed Comrade Ali the most were the letters in which our comrades of the sacrifice expressed their concentration before the action. Our comrade Ali saw in the letters of our martyred martyrs the endless devotion, the clarity of being purified from all dirt, the climax of faith, the sharpening of the decision and the greatness of the ambition to take revenge from the enemy. He took as an example the truth expressed in the person of the Fedais and the stamp he left in history with the actions of the Fedais. On this basis, he joined Hêzên Taybet in 2015 to fight with the style of the bouncer. In the letters of our martyrs of our martyrs, he saw endless devotion, the clarity of being free from all dirt, the climax of faith, the sharpening of the decision and the greatness of his ambition to take revenge from the enemy. Comrade Ali, who defined joining the PKK as one of the most important decisions and turning points of his life, also considered joining Hêzên Taybet and taking sacrifice as one of these important decisions. Our comrade Ali, who added himself carelessly after being included in the environment of the bouncers, became the owner of a carefree, unwavering and courageous walk. He deepened in the Apoist ideology, strengthened his comradeship as much as possible, created a high emotional and thought power in himself by integrating with our spiritual values. With the training she received and the level she achieved, Zilan (Zeynep Kınacı) became a sincere successor and follower of comrade. Our comrade Ali, who is full of great grudge and anger against the enemy, has always been in search of hitting the enemy with Zilan. On this basis, it became the owner of an important search and strong participation,
Our comrade Ali has succeeded in becoming a self-sacrificing militant that all his comrades can rely on, with his cheerful disposition, morale, solid character, and the spiritual world he enriched by reading poems. In this sense, he was able to win the love and respect of every comrade he met, and he had a strong influence. He approached every task and responsibility he took with the measure of achieving success, and never accepted failure. Comrade Ali marched on the enemy with his heart full of revolutionary enthusiasm, preferring to practice in the most difficult areas. He had an exemplary stance and participation.
Comrade Ali met the Turkish state police on 13 July 2018 at his house in Manisa as part of a mission and was killed by the enemy while he was unarmed. In the person of our comrade Ali Fırat, we promise that we will protect the memory of our martyrs, raise the flag of struggle and realize their goals.”
