“In an operation launched by the enemy against the Gabar area on December 2, 2022, our esteemed comrade Silav Koçer, who served as the Gabar regional commander, and our comrades Fedakar Hêlîn and Egîd Nîzîp reached martyrdom by insisting on Apoist militancy until their last breath. These valuable comrades, who are among the heroes of the epic resistance carried out in Botan, the heart of our guerrilla struggle, became the last representatives of the uninterrupted sacrifice, which was developed under the leadership of our great commander Egîd (Mahsum Korkmaz) and continued with Adil, Nûda, Gulbahar and Gelhats.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed families of our comrades Silav, Fedakar and Egîd, who have handed us great tasks that must be accomplished.

Sêrt province and its ancient people, which is one of the important resistance centers of Botan and the place where the Glorious 15 August Initiative, which is the symbol of our people’s re-emergence on the stage of history, was launched, has successfully fulfilled their patriotic duties in our revolution by protecting this historical mission since then. Our people of Sêrt have contributed thousands of their most valuable children to the ranks of freedom and contributed to our struggle to reach today, should be proud of these heroic sons. Comrade Silav, one of the distinguished doughters of our Sêrt people, was born in this folk reality in a family of the patriotic Didêrî tribe. With the influence of her family and the environment she lived in, she started to know our Party from an early age. She was especially impressed by the epic resistance that the guerrilla developed against the invading Turkish state, as she grew up listening to the stories of these resistances. Her brother’s involvement in youth work and the fact that he was imprisoned by the enemy due to his work not only affected our comrade Silav, but also caused her to seek a struggle. She gained a certain organizational experience due to her stay in youth work for a while. Our comrade, who wanted to make these experiences the basis of a more effective struggle, was aware that this is only possible by joining the guerrilla ranks. However, due to her young age, she had to postpone this request for a while. Continuing to concentrate in this process, our comrade began to understand and analyze the society’s perspective on women more deeply.
Evaluating joining the guerrilla as achieving the freedom of her dreams, Comrade Silav quickly adapted to the mountain and guerrilla life. Our comrade Silav, a woman from the mountains, was thrown into guerrilla life without any difficulties because she understood the language of the mountain. Our comrade had organizational experience due to the activities she carried out before, shared these experiences with her comrades and contributed to their development. After practicing for a while in the Garê area, our comrade, who moved to the Metîna area, wanted to join the existing war practice in order to be able to respond to the enemy attacks, on the other hand, she tried to be a solution force by focusing on the solution of some problems in the area he was in. Our comrade Silav, who standed out with her sharpness in the ideological struggle against the wrong practices and wrong understandings, has always been in an ideological struggle for the defense of the sacred PKK life created with the blood of our martyrs. She tried to develop her own personality on this basis, would never miss her book and gave importance to her education. Thanks to this feature, she made the development of her personality continuous.
Our comrade, who moved to the Qendil area in 2011, went to the Xakurkê area, where our Revolutionary People’s War was effectively waged, after working here for a year, and became involved in the practice of war there. Our comrade, who took part in many actions against the enemy in the Xakurkê area, gained a great deal of military experience. She wanted to become a competent YJA Star guerrilla by feeding these experiences with ideological depth, transferred to Mazlum Doğan Academy, the Party Central School, in 2014 for this purpose. With the training she received there, she became a leading woman commander by deepening her philosophy of Leader Apo. Our comrade, who focuses on deepening especially in the ideology of women’s freedom during the education process, has proven with her life and stance that a woman with an ideological background can be a pioneer in all areas of life. Our comrade, who participated in the work in the field of Qandil again after the training, suggested that we go to Bakure Kurdistan in order to respond to the attacks of the genocidal Turkish state against our people and our Movement in 2015.
Our comrade, whose proposal was accepted in 2016, moved to her native land, Botan, in the same year. She first took charge in the Herekol field, later became a guerrilla in many areas of Botan. Aware that a successful practice in a difficult field like Botan is only possible with ideological depth and sharpness in the struggle, our comrade Silav fought on this basis and became a leading YJA Star guerrilla. Thanks to this stance, she gained the trust of her comrades with whom she fought. At the same time, our comrade, who showed her anger towards the enemy by organizing more effective actions than the other, demonstrated her pioneering mission in life in war as well, and showed with practice how a united militant should be. Our comrade Silav, who served as the regional commander in the Gabar area she went to lastly, maintained her current stance there as well. Desiring to be an immediate answer to the emerging problems, she aimed to make all her comrades concentrate on the enemy. Our esteemed commanders Egîd, Adil, Gulbahar and Gelhats, who felt the spirituality of the Gabar area to their bones and became legends in this area, wanted to keep the memories fresh at all times. However, knowing that we will win the victory with the life measures of these valuable commanders, our comrade Silav took her place among the unforgettable commanders of Gabar with her struggle. Our comrade Silav remained loyal to the Apoist ideology until her last breath, became immortal by joining the caravan of martyrs during the enemy attack on December 2, 2022. As her comrades, we repeat once again the promise that we will be the warriors of the dreams of all our martyrs in the person of our comrade Silav.

FEDAKAR HÊLÎN
Our devoted comrade, Mêrdîn, was born in Istanbul as a member of our people, who is known for his patriotism and joined the ranks of the resistance unaccountably due to their passion for freedom along with the development of our freedom struggle. Although he was born and raised far away in Kurdistan, he grew up in a way that adheres to these values as his family raised their children by embracing the deep-rooted Kurdish culture. Our comrade Fedakar, who also acquired the values of freedom that emerged under the leadership of our party PKK, became a strong personality. Despite being young, he always followed the country’s agenda and followed the historical resistance developed against the invaders. He was influenced by the guerrilla’s struggle, which developed a great resistance against all the brutal attacks of the invaders and brought our people closer to freedom day by day. patriotic for a while, After taking part in revolutionary youth work, he decided to expand his struggle more and started searching in this sense. He was especially angry at the gang attacks against the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which affected all our people and the world’s democratic public opinion, and believed that he should definitely take his place in the ranks of the revolution. On this basis, he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015 from his homeland, Mêrdîn Nisêbîn.
When he joined the guerrilla ranks, he became Fedakar Hêlîn, taking the name of his uncle Fedakar–Hikmetullah Demir, who was martyred in 1996, and his aunt Hêlîn–Suphiye Akman, who was martyred in 1988. Our devoted comrade, who started the struggle by removing the names and weapons of his uncle and aunt, started correctly from the very first day by sticking to the line of martyrs and wanting to realize their unfinished dreams. All his next march was on this basis and he became the owner of a self-sacrificing revolutionary march. Our comrade Fedakar, who received his New Warriors training in the Avaşîn field, created important transformations in his personality as well as being fully integrated with the mountain and guerrilla life with the training he received here. He managed to internalize the Apoist personality traits by renewing himself day by day. He believed that the revolutionary work he would carry out as a revolutionary should be on the line of self-sacrifice. Our comrade, who lives with the reality that sacrifice is a way of life, wanted to bring this sacred life to the top by developing a sacrifice action proposal many times. In particular, he adopted the motto of Comrade Martyr Andok, “He who cannot feel every moment on the island of Imrali, cannot be a bouncer,” and he always managed to stick to it. Our comrade, who generally stayed with his experienced comrades during his time in the Avaşîn field and learned from their experiences, became competent in an organizational sense in a short time. Despite being new and young in the guerrilla struggle, our comrade, who has reached the level to carry out many studies, received training at the Martyr Mehmet Goyî Operations School to further improve his military stance. He suggested going to Bakure Kurdistan in order to further expand his struggle with this training and to respond to our people’s demands for freedom. Our comrade, whose proposal was accepted, participated in the Martyr Mahir branch trainings in order to improve himself in the new era guerrilla tactics and to use today’s technology effectively against the enemy. Our comrade, who endured trainings with great enthusiasm, enthusiasm and morale to achieve his goal of going to Bakurê Kurdistan, successfully completed his training and moved to the Botan field in 2018.
Our devoted comrade, who realized his dream of being a guerrilla in Bakure Kurdistan, especially in Botan, which is one of the goals that all freedom guerrilla wants to achieve, continued his struggle by going to Gabar, the spiritual qiblah of the guerrilla. Our comrade, who stayed in the Gabar area for about 5 years, never considered this level of participation sufficient, even though he had a self-sacrificing and laboring participation here. Our comrade, who set the bar for success as realizing the physical freedom of our Leader, fought with all his might for this. Our comrade, who ensured the realization of many actions and took part in these actions, made a proposal to carry out a sacrifice action again in the Gabar area. Our Fedakar comrade, who, like our Fedai Commander Zîlan, wanted to explode in the enemy’s brain and thus be a torch on the way to the freedom of our Leader, showed this stance in every moment of his life and became an exemplary militant. We, as his comrades, reiterate once again our promise that we will fight unceasingly until the physical freedom of Rêber Apo, which is the dream of all our martyrs, is achieved in the person of our devoted comrade.

Our comrade Egîd was born in Dilok Nîzîp as a member of a patriotic family originally from Riha Pirsûs. Our comrade Egîd grew up with these characteristics, as his family was patriotic and insisted on their identity and culture despite all kinds of assimilationist policies of the enemy. Growing up in an environment that was always sensitive to the freedom struggle in Kurdistan helped our comrade Egîd to hear about our Party from an early age, and as he grew older and got to know our Party more, his loyalty increased. As a Kurdish youth, he realized that he was also responsible for the freedom of our people, and he sought to fight. He first took part in patriotic youth work at the local level. The revolutionary atmosphere created by the Rojava Freedom Revolution all over Kurdistan undoubtedly affected our people in Bakurê Kurdistan and caused them to join the ranks of the struggle more. Again, against the attacks against the Rojava Freedom Revolution, our people of Bakurê Kurdistan carried out their patriotic duty duly by carrying out the most effective struggle. Our people, who stood up again during the times when ISIS gangs attacked Kobanê, developed an epic resistance and took care of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. The works carried out in this process and the fact that our people embraced the revolution with all their existence, from seven to seventy, not only affected our comrade Egîd, but also enabled him to participate more actively in the struggle. First, he fulfilled his pioneering duty by participating in the serhildans in all of Bakure Kurdistan, and then he decided that he should participate in professional activities, considering that the existing fighting style was sufficient. Our comrade Egîd, who realized early on that the enemy wanted to take away the gains of our people in Bakure Kurdistan as the price of decades of struggle, and to completely destroy our people and our Movement with the Precipitation Plan, actively participated. First, he joined the local resistance units, which were established for the solid formation of the self-defense of our people. 15 days after participating in these activities in the Nisêbîn area, he turned to the mountains of Kurdistan in order to train himself more and to become a militarily and ideologically competent militant.
Our comrade Egîd, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2016, successfully completed the New Warrior training due to his previous experience. With the Leadership lessons he took during this training period, he began to understand himself better and realized important transformations in his personality. At the same time, he helped his comrades, who had just joined the guerrilla, in a vital and educational sense, and helped them become pioneer militants by adapting to the guerrilla and mountain life. Our comrade, who sees it as a revolutionary duty to take more responsibility in this process, took charge as a team commander in his first practice. Due to his success in this task, he was promoted in a short time and reached the responsible level in the infrastructure and logistics unit, which is vital for the organization of the guerrilla lifestyle. Knowing how to be successful in this task and to be worthy of the trust of his comrades, our comrade Egîd developed a proposal to receive training in military academies in order to participate more effectively in the intense war process. With this training, he wanted to engage in an effective and fruitful struggle against the genocidal Turkish state, whose only goal is to destroy our people. He thought that the slavery system, which the genocidal Turkish state regarded our people, could only be broken up in this way and that our people could reach freedom only in this way.
Analyzing the new dimension of the war, our comrade Egîd wanted to open a new field for our guerrilla warfare by learning how to use technological tools that are now indispensable in wars. Thus, he believed that a more effective struggle could be carried out with the invading Turkish state and wanted to demonstrate the necessities of this with practice. Our comrade Egîd, who achieved this goal with the specialist training he received, thought that he could practice the training he received in the most effective field of Botan, and for this he passed in the field of Botan. The place of Adil, Nûda and Gelhats; Our comrade Egîd, who made his first practice in the field of Gabar, which is known for its beauty, spirituality and difficulty, was able to endear himself to his comrades in the field with his sociable character in a short time.
