ISTANBUL – HBDH Arin Mirkan Militia broke the windows of ŞOK Market in Istanbul Sultanbeyli on the occasion of the anniversary of the 19 July Rojava Revolution and set the market on fire.
HBDH’s statement is as follows;
We are the People’s United Revolutionary Movement. We are fighting for the freedom and happiness of our working people who have lived together for thousands of years in Anatolia and the Middle East. We are fighting for the victory of the united revolution, their only way of salvation!
Every revolution is our holiday. Every revolution is a powerful step towards the freedom of our peoples. The Rojava Revolution, which has grown at great cost and continues to survive right next to us, is ours, as a revolution that inspires the freedom struggle of the peoples of Turkey and the Middle East, gives them strength and morale, and grows with the cries of freedom of enslaved oppressed women!
The fascist state and imperialists resort to all kinds of trickery and force to strangle the Rojava Revolution in particular, the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people in general, and the regional revolutions, and engage in invasion attacks. We, as the self-sacrificing forces emerging from the hearts of our peoples, are on the move everywhere to defend our Rojava Revolution against these fascist-reactionary attacks. We strike blows at all types of targets of the enemy.
On July 19, we organized a sabotage action against Şok Market in Istanbul. At around 23.30 at night, we broke the windows of Şok Market in Sultanbeyli and set it on fire. As a result of our action, the market was completely turned into ashes. Our militia successfully withdrew after the action.
As the HBDH Arin Mirkan Militia declares that we defend the Rojava Revolution with our actions, we send greetings to the first PKK Youth Conference!
