BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center provided the following information regarding the actions carried out by the guerrilla forces and the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army:
“Serhad region;
- “On June 12, at 10:30, the Amarok type military vehicle belonging to the invaders, which went into operation in the Gundê Kaşinê area of the Ebex (Çaldıran) district of Wan, was targeted and hit with sabotage tactics. In this successful action; 2 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured.
Metina region;
- On July 10, at 13:13, the position of the invaders in the Girê Koordine area was targeted and hit with heavy weapons. The enemy position, which was hit with accuracy, was completely destroyed, while 3 invaders were punished, 1 invader was seriously injured. The invaders lifted their dead with helicopters at 14:40. This action was carried out to greet the anniversary of the 14 July Great Death Fast Resistance.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with banned bombs;
- Our positions in the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region were bombed 3 times with banned bombs between 10 July 18:20–19:35.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On July 10, at 10:20, the Girê Zengil area of Garê was bombed once with warplanes.
- On July 10, at 10:30, a civilian vehicle belonging to the people of the region was bombed once with warplanes between the villages of Gundê Şêx and Gundê Çemrobotki in Garê. The vehicle was not hit in this bombardment, but as a result, the fire in the field still continues.
- On July 10, between 21:30 and 23:00, Metîna’s Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area was bombed 7 times by attack helicopters.
- On 10 July, the Sîda Resistance Area of Zap and the Girê Bahar, Girê Cûdî, Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region were bombed 75 times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
- The invading Turkish army attacked our positions in the Sîda Resistance Area of the Zap and the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region on July 10, and tried to pierce the tunnels and demolish them with buckets.”
