NEWS CENTER – On the 14th of June, the drones of the occupying Turkish state targeted a vehicle on the Qamishlo-Tirbespi road. In the attack, along with 2 of our patriots, our fighter nicknamed Ciwan Oso was martyred. Our friend Ciwan was going home for vacation.
“The fact that the goals and objectives of the occupying Turkish state for Northern and Eastern Syria is to occupy the region, showed its true face once again with the recent airstrikes. On the other hand, history knows that as the YPG, YPJ and SDF forces, especially our local people, we did not remain silent against any invasion attacks since the beginning of our revolution. Neither the resistance that we supported against the gangs of the Turkish state between 2013-2016, nor the resistance that we showed against the occupying Turkish state in Afrin, Serekani and other occupied areas, will not be forgotten in our memories. are alive. The heroes of these resistances are our patriotic people and their immortal children. Old and young, men and women, in short, all our people from seven to seventy years old are the most important part of this resistance and each one of us builds the ring of this resistance with unbreakable bonds. The last link of our resistance is our friend Ciwan.
Our friend Ciwan, who has been a witness to these invasion attacks and resistance in the city of Serekani, which has suffered many invasion attacks and resistance since the beginning of our revolution, in his childhood. When the city was last invaded in 2019, he had to move with his family to other cities because he knew the true goals and objectives of the invaders. When he reached the age of adulthood, he felt the sense of patriotism that he got from his family, and with this sense of patriotism, he felt responsible towards his country and his people. Comrade Ciwan, whose greatest desire was to return to his hometown, decided to join our resistance war against the invaders. In making its decision, the recognition of many heroes on this land emerged who did not remain silent in the face of oppression and oppression. Hevre Ciwan was young like his name, at the same time he was a humble and simple person and showed a selfless attitude in his participation in life. He tried to learn more by experiencing life. He made a great effort to develop himself for the future, but unfortunately his martyrdom left his dreams half-fulfilled. Dreams and memories of our friend Ciwan will be a leader in the difficult struggle against the invaders. In his person, we repeat the promise we made to all our heroic martyrs.
First of all, we want to express our condolences to the dear family of our comrade Ciwan and to all our patriotic people.”
