Comrade Xemgîn was born in Heşet village of Perwarî district of Sêrt in 1984, which was a milestone for the Kurdish people, when our glorious breakthrough took place on August 15th. He grew up in the patriotic village of Heşet on the slopes of the Herekol Mountain, with the influence of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla and the voice of the fight for freedom. The village of Hêşet and its surroundings has been an ancient geography that has been in resistance for centuries, from Mîr Bedirxan to tribal resistances and the epic struggle of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla. The village of Hêşet, which leans its back on the majestic mountains of Kurdistan, has been shaped by a very strong character with its social values, sense of patriotism and loyalty to the land. This formation has also deeply affected the personality of our comrade Xemgîn. As the child of a farmer and laborer family, he worked in village works, breathed the fresh air of the mountain environment,
Comrade Xemgîn has become a beautiful human being from Botan, whose personality has not been spoiled, pure, plain and clear as water. His pure heart and uncontaminated consciousness led him to a search for freedom, truth and beauty. The comradeship of the PKK, the morale-filled life of the guerrilla despite the most difficult conditions, the democratic commune environment, the calculus who sacrificed himself for the guerrilla’s comrade attracted Comrade Xemgîn to himself. Comrade Xemgîn longed for the guerrilla to see the beauty of beauty, to live, to feel freedom, to liberate his country and people. The process that the invading Turkish army carried out against the Zap in 2008, but the fascist Turkish army suffered a great defeat, the prestige of the Turkish army was drawn, and the worst generals were devalued and broken, created a great morale among the entire Kurdish people. This morale stemmed from the invincibility of the guerrilla, being a source of hope, and most affected the youth. Here, our comrade Xemgîn became one of the young people who were greatly affected by the environment and atmosphere of this process and decided to join the guerrilla. On this basis, he joined the guerrilla ranks with a comrade from his village in the summer of 2009.
Comrade Xemgîn, who joined the guerrilla ranks in the Kato area of Botan, received a new fighter training for 15 days and started practice. Only 15 days of training was sufficient for our comrade Xemgîn in the difficult conditions and scarce opportunities of Bakurê Kurdistan, and this training became the basis of the guerrilla march. As a matter of fact, Comrade Xemgîn carried out his guerrilla practice in Botan, which he continued uninterruptedly for eight years, on this basis. This truth and practice of Comrade Xemgîn states that understanding the PKK is not about getting more or less education, and whether or not to talk for days; It has shown that it is necessary to have a clean heart, honest morals, laboring approach, clear consciousness and consistent personality. Comrade Xemgîn made it clear that the Revolutionary People’s War was not limited to the guerrilla, and that the Kurdish people had to defend themselves from seven to seventy years of age, and therefore focused on self-defense activities. Comrade Xemgîn has always taken as a basis to train and deepen himself in the Apoist ideology as well as his laboring and practical aspect. In each winter camp in Botan, he retrained himself, discussed the problems of struggle, and accounted for how much gender and class struggle he had waged. It started every spring with a great assertiveness, determination and strong motivation to fight, and struggled relentlessly every year. Comrade Xemgîn moved to Medya Defense Areas in 2017, after carrying out responsibilities at many levels from combatant to commander in eight years of non-stop Botan practice. Comrade Xemgîn, who saw his high human virtues, simple participation and honest approach, included his comrades in the education process at Mazlum Doğan Party Central School in order to develop and become stronger and assume important responsibilities. ABBAS HEREKOL
Our comrade Abbas was born in the village of Ewrex in the Perwarî district of Sêrt. These ties have remained unshakable until today, and the people of Ewrex have made great sacrifices during the 40-year struggle. He has added his precious brave sons to our struggle. From the family and close relatives of our comrade Abbas; from his brother Isa Ipek in 1990 in Gever, his uncle’s son Omer (Ahmet Ipek from) in 1988, his uncle’s daughter Jiyan Herekol (India Ipek) in Kobanê in 2015, his uncle’s son Zinar (Talat İlhan) in Kobanê in 2015 and our comrade Serhildan (Dilan Ayhan), the daughter of her uncle, died in Herekol in 2020.

The partnership of the ISIS gangs and the invading Turkish state fascism, which is a fact that everyone knows and is proven more concretely every day, started an open attack against the Kurdish people in 2014.
