STUTTGART – The members of TekoJIN Stuttgart carried out six actions in six different districts of Stuttgart in response to the sexual harassment and attack on a young Kurdish woman on Turkey’s election day. With banners, spray paint and stickers, the young women drew attention to themselves at the various locations. One of these places was the Pragsattel in Feuerbach, where the young Kurd was attacked by a group of Turkish fascists.
The members of TekoJIN made it clear in their press statement that they will not leave any sexual harassment or assault on a woman unanswered. The slogan JIN JIYAN AZADÎ was sprayed on the walls of Stuttgart to draw attention to the situation, but also to the will and strength of the Kurdish woman.
