The situation of Rêber Apo is always on the agenda of our party and our people. The invaders and the forces involved in the international conspiracy are also concerned with the situation of Rêber Apo and the Imrali system. We know that nothing in Imrali is done without a plan, without purpose and unconsciously. They aim to intensify the Imrali system day by day. They are playing with the psychology of the Kurdish people and their friends. They want to break the bond between Rêber Apo and the Kurdish people. They are trying to reach their goals by increasing the pressure on the leadership. What happened in Imrali cannot be explained either in terms of humanity, politically or legally. If we consider it in terms of human rights, Rêber Apo should lead a comfortable life. But we know that there is no normal situation in Imrali. As the people and the party, we have the right to approach this situation with suspicion. We do not know what happened in Imrali, but we do know that Rêber Apo was not given the right to live in humane conditions. This situation magnifies both anger and suspicion.
Rêber Apo knows the invaders very well. The enemy is aware of what can change with a speech or word of Rêber Apo. Since the conspiracy, hundreds of PKK militants have set their bodies on fire to protest the physical freedom of Rêber Apo and the conspiracy. No one can approach Rêber Apo, who has devoted 50 years to the struggle, as if he were an ordinary person. The Turkish state is doing whatever it takes to take revenge on the Leader. Again, from a legal point of view, studies should be carried out uninterruptedly both in Turkey and in the international arena. Most importantly, our people should always stand up. We are all indebted to Rêber Apo. If Rêber Apo’s physical freedom is our primary goal, our people must also be strong, organized and effective against the enemy. Our movement should be more organized, We must all fulfill our duties and strengthen the struggle in order to preserve the values created by Rêber Apo’s 50 years of hard work. An election process took place in Türkiye and Bakur. How should the election results that emerged after AKP’s tricks and tricks be handled? What is the meaning of the messages given in the election?

If the fascist AKP-MHP government had been defeated in this election, there would have been a break in the mentality of the occupying Turkish state. As you know, HDP entered the elections with the Green Left Party. After the election, HDP shared with the public what kind of path and method it will follow in the upcoming period. On the one hand, the HDP started the move of renewal, on the other hand, the attacks against the HDP are increasing day by day. How do you evaluate HDP’s new roadmap and these attacks?
First of all, let me state: HDP-Green Left Party worked in this election and they got a result. Those who are against the will of the AKP-MHP, Turkey’s democratization and the Kurdish people want to demoralize. But it is not. Dozens of HDP mayors are imprisoned, hundreds of executives and thousands of members are in prison. As I said, a special war is being waged against the Kurdish people and the forces of democracy. If there were another party in the HDP’s place, it would not have received the lowest number of votes in this election in such a period. But HDP has a culture, they have been paying the price for decades, they have been working hard, there is such a tradition. The Kurdish people are an organized and conscious people. That’s why, despite all the attacks, the Green Left Party got a good result. Of course it could be better, and it was necessary. Allowing the invading forces to enjoy the latest situation, to find morale, moreover, do not allow it to play with the psychology of the Kurdish people and legitimate democratic politics. This must be prevented.
Undoubtedly, all parties make post-election evaluations. AKP is in a state of drunkenness, but CHP and IYI Party are having discussions among themselves. It is very normal for HDP to have discussions. Even now, they have prepared hundreds of papers for HDP supporters. There is such a pressure on the HDP. Other than that, there is a struggle. Nobody should calculate these results as defeats. They must set their agenda correctly. In other words, they should not be under the influence of the nation or other powers. They should create an agenda that will see their inadequacies, shortcomings and realities. If they exceed these, they will be better prepared in the next period. This is the message they give. We see their approach positively. For example, criticism, self-criticism, discussions are important. Discussions on how we can organize more and how we can eliminate the existing deficiencies are also important. On this basis, how they will determine their roadmap in the future is also important. Currently, HDP and Green Left Party are going through such a process.

Some say why it was limited to Kurdistan, some say why it gave its direction to Turkey too much. Both are wrong. A democratic Türkiye perspective is the right one. They tried to do so, and important steps were taken. It is normal to have some deficiencies and inadequacies. You shouldn’t make them too big. Let them not turn their energies into negativity within. They should see their shortcomings and respond to the process with a new synergy. All criticism, self-criticism and discussion should certainly serve this truth. Other than that, some people who do not take any responsibility speak to be discharged, some to be spoken, etc. But that’s what taking responsibility is; they should set their real agenda, have serious discussions, give strength to each other, not tire each other, and carry out their comradely work.
There is nothing lost. Politics and elections. The desired result is not fully obtained, but there is a result. There are reasons for these results outside of us, there are also reasons related to HDP. These are discussed, the important thing is to draw conclusions from them and to determine a correct map. But the biggest danger is to tire each other out, to turn around an untrue agenda under the name of criticism and self-criticism, to waste their energies on this, the invaders to play with it and to create disbelief. There’s no reason for this to happen. A good result has been obtained. No one gave in, everyone resisted, we congratulate everyone on this occasion and wish them success once again. But on that basis, they must have the right discussions, set the right agenda, and empower each other. The best results will be obtained this way.
Three alliances stood out in this election. The Turkish state is entering the 2nd century with these alliances. Where is Türkiye heading on the last plain and what future awaits Turkey?
The fascist state mind obviously wants to maintain its power in the same line and with the same mentality in the 2nd century. All his efforts and preparations were accordingly. There were alliances, but only their names. The Nation Alliance has already disbanded. An alliance without principles, criteria and values, which is not built on values, dissolves just like the Nation Alliance and cannot get results. In fact, this alliance changed their language and strategy against Rêber Apo, our movement and the Kurdish people, especially in the 28 May election. It is not possible to act so unprincipled, so pragmatic and narrow. This does not bring anything to Turkish society. The main thing is the AKP’s People’s Alliance. Look at those in the alliance, each of them has a mission and a role. How will they continue the occupying mentality, how will they reject the will of the Kurdish people, even if they can, they will break it and an alliance built on how they will destroy the democracy mentality. It was established especially against the PKK, which is the will of the Kurdish people. For this reason, HUDA PAR was given a role. The role of the Islamist Kurdish identity, but in essence it is the partner of the occupying AKP. They wanted to pave the way for HUDA PAR. Hezbollah was given a role in the past, now this political role has been given to HUDA PAR. Influencing the Kurdish society, blocking the HDP and removing it as an alternative. This alliance was formed against the Kurdish people. Our people are also aware of this. That’s how it should act and respond. In the political history of the Turkish state, there is no tradition and culture to oppose radical opposition, occupation and power, to rise up with the society as in other countries, and to fight for democracy. Neither CHP nor others. There are hundreds of reasons for the uprising of the society, but on the contrary, they are blocking the society. They hinder the development of a radical opposition. In fact, they also serve the state. Unfortunately, this is the reality of Turkish politics.
THE TURKISH STATE IS USING EVERYONE FOR ITS INTEREST
Again, there is a lot of revenge in the character of the Turkish state. That’s why they are brutally attacking the Kurdish people, Rêber Apo and our movement. It is attacking the Kurdish people and values with the mentality that you will not think like this again, you will not rebel again, you will not defend your existence again. They will prevent democratic politics from breathing. democracy, law, they have already trampled on the criteria of justice. The dictator doesn’t care about the fascist Erdogan. They will do whatever it takes to maintain their power for their own interests.
Most importantly, Turkey’s geopolitical and geostrategic position, being a NATO member is a historical advantage for the government, a golden opportunity and they are making good use of it. The politics of the Turkish state have a situation of playing with the balances. Not a single state was harmed in the 2nd World War, and that was the Turkish state. He pursued a policy by remaining impartial. Now, with the experience of the state, he is playing with the balance of NATO, Russia, the Middle East, and the balance of Arab and Iranian forces. In other words, he uses all of them for his own interests, and he will use them from now on. But now the scissors are getting narrower for them too. They are already dependent on NATO and the USA, militarily and economically. That’s why their relations with Russia and China are fake. It is not clear when he will turn his back on whom. Both the Turkish state and Russia know this, but they use it.
On the other hand, both the USA and Europe are silent. In fact, they do not agree with the fascist AKP mentality among themselves, but the Turkish state has the advantages I have mentioned, it is a member of NATO. That’s why they manage, they don’t oppose. It is as if the Turkish state will want to develop a restoration in Syria and the Middle East politics in the upcoming period. In other words, it will develop new relations with all Middle Eastern countries. It aims to take a breather in this area. The only condition of the Turkish state in Syria would be the destruction of Democratic Autonomy. They will be prepared for anything if the Syrian state accepts this condition. But the Syrian state has reasons not to accept this. The Hatay example is still alive. The Turkish state will base its entire policy on how to get ahead of democratic Turkey, how to break the will of the Kurdish people. There will be more oppression and persecution.
ALLIANCE OF LABOR AND DEMOCRACY MUST NOT DANGER WITH SMALL ACCOUNTS
Another alliance is the Labor and Freedom Alliance. The most important and honorable is the alliance. It is this alliance that will together determine the role, mission, future of the Kurdish people and the peoples of Turkey. The Alliance for Labor and Freedom is invaluable in its name. However, there should be no mistakes in the growth and approach of this alliance. You must know this. This is the dialectic of the Kurdish people and the peoples of Türkiye. The way for Turkey’s democratization is through the solution of the Kurdish problem. This is also true when we reverse the equation. It is not possible to solve the Kurdish problem without democratizing Türkiye. In other words, both the forces of democracy in Turkey should see this fact, and the Kurdish people, even those who see themselves as nationalists, should also see this reality. That’s why Rêber Apo says I’m stuck, or it really is. If the Kurdish problem is solved by breaking this deadlock, the Middle East will be democratized.
Therefore, the solution of the Kurdish problem is very important. That’s why I can’t get rid of the deadlock by only considering as a Kurd with a narrow perspective. Again, it is not possible to solve the problem if the democratic and socialist forces of Turkey do not see this impasse. That’s why the Labor and Freedom Alliance is so important and meaningful. Both the Kurdish people and the democratic and socialist forces of Turkey should take part in this alliance. The future of Turkey is here, the freedom of the Kurdish people is in this alliance. This alliance should not be jeopardized by small calculations and narrow perspectives. Everyone should think bigger, think more in perspective, put in effort, make an effort, and have a share in the development of the alliance. In any case, this alliance was not established for elections, it is an alliance based on democratization of Turkey and the solution of the Kurdish problem. It should not limit itself only to parties.
