NEWS CENTER – Speaking in a special program broadcast on Medya Haber, Karasu stated that there should not be any pessimism just because Erdoğan won in the elections and said, “This means expecting everything from the election. No such thing. We did not have such an approach. But of course, it is necessary to evaluate the choices. It is necessary to make this a part of the struggle and see it as such. But it may be the work of the opposition within the system to think that it will only get results through elections. Ours is not an opposition within the system, it is a revolutionary democracy opposition, and we will get this result with the people, with the organization of the people, with their effective struggle, and we will achieve this with their attitudes.”
Expressing that the AKP government is still weak and will be overthrown by struggle, Karasu said, “In this respect, the hardening of fascism, its attack and its unwillingness to go through elections means this: This will become the same as dictators in other parts of the world. This will be the end of Erdogan. It will be like the fall of other dictators. Because it is very aggressive. It implements fascism in its darkest form. If there is a struggle, of course, this break can be created”.
Karasu’s comments are as follows: Leader Apo has been in captivity for 25 years. Except for a few years, he has been kept in strict isolation. When the AKP government was in a difficult period for a few years, when it was struggling against our struggle, some softening took place and the isolation weakened. Some interviews were held. This process is known. We were already in this process. It was the process of the Oslo negotiations. It was the period when the isolation on Leader Apo was relaxed.
LEADER APO BROUGHT THE SPECIAL WAR TO CONSCIOUSNESS
Heavy isolation continues on Leader Apo. Their lawyers are not allowed to meet, neither are their families. This already reveals how the Turkish state approached Leader Apo. Such intense isolation on Leader Apo is not a pressure on one person. It is purely a repression against the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people. It is the result of the Kurdish genocide policy. This is how you have to see it. Because this Leadership made the people conscious of freedom, organized them and drew them into the freedom struggle. In this respect, he takes revenge. On the other hand, Leader Apo’s new paradigm is also seen as a threat to the genocidal colonialist order of the Turkish state. Leader Apo’s thoughts are a thought that will lead to the destruction of the anti-democratic fascist regime in Turkey, a democracy, Seeing that there is a sense of freedom, they carry out heavy isolation on Leader Apo. On the other hand, an important issue is that there is a dirty war waged by the Turkish state against the Kurdish people, there is a special war. Which I would like to emphasize in particular; One of Leader Apo’s most fundamental leadership qualities is his understanding of the reality of the Turkish state. It is bringing the reality of the Turkish state, the special war it wages against the Kurdish people, the dirty war, the genocidal colonial war into deep consciousness. In this respect, Leader Apo solved the reality of the Turkish state and fought effectively against it. Leader Apo continued his struggle against their special war policies, tricks and tricks and spoiled their tricks. Since the Turkish state is aware of this fact, especially today’s AKP-MHP fascist alliance is waging an intense special war against the Kurdish people.
RESISTING IS NOT ENOUGH, WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE SPECIAL WAR
Seeing that the reality of the Leadership will frustrate this, they are isolating the Leadership. Because they think that the Leader’s own war will nullify their policies and have an impact on their war on the Kurdish people, they are isolating Leader Apo. Let’s know it like this. And all Kurdish people should know this. The most important truth of Leader Apo is that he recognizes the reality of the Turkish state, that he recognizes the private war. This is very important for the Kurds. The Kurds cannot succeed in their struggle for freedom without recognizing the Turkish state’s special war, recognizing its psychological warfare, and recognizing the tricks it carries out. The most important factor in the success of the freedom struggle is knowing the reality of the Turkish state, knowing its private war, psychological war, and genocidal colonial war in all its dimensions. Otherwise, it is not enough just to fight, just to resist. Resistance is the key. But in order for the resistance and the war to be successful, the Turkish state’s private war reality must be known very well.
Let me give an example to understand the Turkish state’s private war reality. Turgut Özal was the president, he was killed. Leader Apo was the first to say this. As soon as he heard that Özal was dead, he said “Özal was killed” and this is the truth. Because the Turkish state knows the reality, knows its soul, knows its thought, knows its reflexes. Since he knew where, when and what attitude he would take, he immediately took a clear and unequivocal attitude towards Özal’s death. While evaluating the reality of Leader Apo, this reality of isolation, this fact should be known by all Kurdish people, by all Kurdish democratic politics and by their friends. There is much to learn from Leader Apo on this subject. The Kurdish people, Kurdish democratic politics and even all the political forces in all four parts of Kurdistan have a lot to learn from Leader Apo on this subject. Leader Apo’
LEYLA SORXWIN’S RESISTANCE WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN
Before evaluating the June 1, 2004 Move, I would like to evaluate the martyrdom of Leyla Sorxwîn, who was recently declared martyr, and on this basis her personality. First of all, I remember him with respect and gratitude. I believe that we will definitely realize his aspirations in a free Kurdistan, democratic Turkey and democratic Middle East. I promise this, we deliver. Friend Leyla Sorxwîn was indeed one of the important commanders of our struggle, especially our guerrilla struggle. Again, he was a friend of ours who played a role in the successful execution of the June 1st Campaign. Leyla Sorxwîn was one of our friends who showed the strongest stance against the 2003-2004 liquidationism that tried to prevent the June 1st Movement. In this respect, your friend Leyla Sorxwîn has really contributed a lot in the struggle. On every hill of Kurdistan mountains for more than 30 years, He was a friend who had been in every valley. He was a comrade who fought without losing his will to fight, his enthusiasm, and his belief in winning even under the most difficult conditions. He was a humble friend. He was a friend of ours who gave himself only to serve the struggle of this people and thought about it. In this respect, he was a friend who was loved by all his friends. The struggle of our friend Leyla will be continued and kept alive. In this respect, his struggle, especially the war and resistance he devotedly waged in Botan will not be forgotten. The struggle of our friend Leyla will be continued and kept alive. In this respect, his struggle, especially the war and resistance he devotedly waged in Botan will not be forgotten. The struggle of our friend Leyla will be continued and kept alive. In this respect, his struggle, especially the war and resistance he devotedly waged in Botan will not be forgotten.
Friend Leyla was a friend of ours who fought on the line of women’s freedom. She is one of the best representatives of the Kurdish women’s freedom line. In this respect, Kurdish women, all young women, should not forget our martyrs like Leyla. Kurdish women cannot recognize their own realities without understanding and knowing Kurdish young women, Leyla’s friend. In this respect, it is very important for them to get to know these friends. If they are to exist as Kurds, if they are to have a free and democratic life as Kurds, if they are to dissolve into the reality of Kurdish society, they must first of all get to know and understand martyrs like Leyla. They need to be connected. They need to have a good grasp of the messages they carry through their struggle. They need to understand what responsibility their life gives them. If these are explained, They become the true sons of the Kurdish people. They represent Kurdish women and Kurdish young women in the best way possible.
PKK’S PEACEFUL APPROACH DID NOT RESPOND
The June 1st Move is a historic move for us. As it is known, before that, there was a 5-6 year period of non-conflict. There were ceasefire periods. Leader Apo declared a ceasefire on August 1 after the 1999 conspiracy. And democratization in Turkey has basically made efforts to find a solution to the Kurdish problem. In this process, we adhered to the ceasefire and maintained non-conflict. However, the Turkish state did not fulfill its requirements. He thought: Leader Apo was caught, the PKK is over. For this reason, he did not take any steps for the solution of the Kurdish problem, thinking that the Kurdish people’s freedom struggle was being liquidated by saying that the Kurdish problem is over, there is nothing to be done, and that they can no longer stand up. He even showed an approach by saying it’s over. Our people also talked a lot about peace. We talked a lot about peace, we talked about a solution. But there was not the slightest approach to it. In fact, no steps were taken, and help was sought from the liquidators within the PKK. And liquidationism thought that the concussion experienced in the PKK after the capture of Leader Apo would lead the PKK to collapse, and they insisted on denial in this respect. They did not take any steps. Then came the AKP government. We called him too. We asked them to take a step, but they did not, and they placed their hopes on liquidationism.
THEY THOUGHT THE PKK CANNOT FIGHT AGAIN
In the face of this, we insistently asked for steps to be taken, but these did not materialize. In fact, in 2003, we wanted to engage in a struggle against this attitude of the Turkish state, the AKP government. Because the AKP came to power, we gave it a chance, but we entered into a struggle, thinking that we could no longer maintain this situation if it did not change any attitude, and that the continuation of this ceasefire situation would become synonymous with the liquidation of our freedom movement and our struggle. But liquidationism tried to prevent us from fighting in 2003 and in 2004. His most important effort for the liquidation was to keep us from fighting, to make us unable to fight anymore. He took such an approach. Of course, behind this approach was the USA, there was the KDP. They also supported the liquidation, keeping our movement away from the struggle, They were aiming to break from the line and turn it into an organization that could not fight. That was their main goal. The liquidators have also made this clear. They said we do not accept your struggle, we will prevent it. They said and tried to prevent it. However, on the basis of the attitude of Comrade Leyla and many of our martyrs, a stance was put forward against liquidationism. The leadership also did not accept the position of the liquidators. He put a new line of struggle before the movement. They fled because they could not follow that new line of struggle. Their escape also meant the liquidation of liquidationism, which hindered our struggle, and the June 1, 2004 Operation was carried out. This is a very important move. Because it was not easy to develop such a struggle after 5 years. In fact, Hürriyet’s editor-in-chief, Ertuğrul Özkök, said, “War axes buried in the ground will never come back, rot,” he said. He said that the PKK would not be able to fight anymore.
THE LIQUIDERS’ PLANS FAILED
There were too many such thoughts. It was said that the PKK could no longer stand up. This was the view of the Turkish state. They thought they had succeeded. But there was a line of struggle revealed by the Leader. The new paradigm of the leadership envisaged a more effective struggle. In this respect, we took the decision of the 2004 move and started the move. This move took place after the liquidators fled. Because the liquidators fled at the second general assembly of KONGRA-GEL. We announced the 1 June 2004 move right after the general assembly. This was a very important move. If we had not been able to develop this move, the Kurdish Freedom Movement would have been liquidated, and the formation in Southern Kurdistan would have been liquidated. The struggle in the other part of Kurdistan did not develop then. Even the liquidators, the KDP, along with the AKP, with the MIT, They started a propaganda with the Turkish state. In fact, MIT was behind it. Because the KDP and AKP were now acting jointly. MIT was acting in partnership with liquidationism. The thesis they put forward was that of keeping us from the struggle. The KDP and the liquidators supposedly came to an agreement with the Turkish state in Imrali, and they took this war decision. Thus, we will carry out the June 1, 2004 Operation, and the Turkish state will use this as an excuse to enter Bashure Kurdistan and destroy the gains. However, if the 2004 move had begun, the Turkish state would have liquidated this administration in Bashure Kurdistan. Our struggle not only revitalized and developed the freedom struggle in all of Kurdistan, but also failed the Turkish state’s plans for Bashure Kurdistan. If there is currently a federation in Bashur, there are still certain gains, This is achieved by the 1st of June 2004 Move. If this were not the case, the Turkish state would have used every means and method to liquidate this federation. As our struggle prevented this in Bashur, the Turkish state developed closer relations with this federation in order to use the KDP against our struggle.
I REMEMBER OUR MARTYRS OF THE JUNE 1st MOVE WITH GRATITUDE
Already in 2007, after the Bush-Erdogan meeting, the Turkish state recognized the federation in Bashur in return for the USA’s support for Turkey to liquidate the PKK. The Turkish state’s recognition of the federation is mainly after the Erdogan-Bush meeting. As a matter of fact, even Baikal said; “If we’re going to evaluate it, if we’re going to make use of it, we will establish relations with them against the PKK,” he said. Previously, he was opposed.
June 1, 2004 has been going on for exactly 19 years. It is the continuation of the 15 August Move. Because it was interrupted. It was a five-year ceasefire. This process continued with a little 2004 move. On the other hand, the June 1, 2004 Operation was not only a stance against the purge attacks of the Turkish state, a new period of struggle, but also brought about the liquidation of liquidationism. In fact, liquidationism was also liquidated with the June 1, 2004 Operation. Their policies have been rendered unsuccessful. The policies they imposed on the organization have been rendered unsuccessful. Of course, let’s emphasize it again; Leader Apo has a decisive influence. On this occasion, I commemorate all our martyrs who started the June 2004 Campaign with respect and gratitude. There is a will created by them. The will to develop the 15 August Operation and to maintain its will has emerged. This is of course very valuable. In our next struggle, the effects of this move and the guidance of the move will continue.
THESE CHOICES DO NOT ATTEMPT
The issue of elections in Turkey should be evaluated in depth. It has to be properly evaluated. Because the reality of the Turkish state cannot be understood without evaluating the elections in Turkey correctly. Nor is it clear how to fight against it. This issue is important. Türkiye did not enter multi-party life with its own struggle for democracy dynamics. Of course, there was the struggle of these people, there was the struggle of the Kurdish people, there was the struggle of the socialist Kurds. In this respect, there was a stance against the existing one-party system. With the end of the Second World War and the defeat of fascism, a wave of democracy, especially from the West, emerged in Turkey. This has become important in the West. In Turkey, both to improve relations with Europe and to secure itself against the Soviets and against the Kurdish people, In order to fight against the forces of democracy, the two-party system was put into practice. They entered such a process to get the support of the West and the USA at that time. Türkiye joined NATO. He later became a member of various international institutions. The main purpose of these was to suppress the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people and to commit genocide against the Kurds. For one thing this should be very well seen. Without seeing this, neither the truth of politics, nor the truth of the state, nor the truth of elections can be understood correctly in Turkey. I want to underline this. For one thing this should be very well seen. Without seeing this, neither the truth of politics, nor the truth of the state, nor the truth of elections can be understood correctly in Turkey. I want to underline this. For one thing this should be very well seen. Without seeing this, neither the truth of politics, nor the truth of the state, nor the truth of elections can be understood correctly in Turkey. I want to underline this.
THEY SAY KURDISH WILL BENEFIT IF THERE IS A DEMOCRACY IN TURKEY
The process called democracy in Turkey, called elections, is actually carried out to cover up the genocidal system. Because Turkey’s basic policy, its only policy, is to genocide the Kurds. All institutions have been shaped accordingly. Its economic institutions, political institutions, cultural institutions, arts, sports, all social life, all kinds of institutions, the whole system in Turkey is based on genocide against the Kurds. During this period, a multi-party system was introduced. This was the main purpose of the multi-party system. I used to call this elective event in Turkey a special war democracy. Maybe there is no such concept, but if we see this fact while evaluating the elections in Turkey, the elective system in this business, maybe we can evaluate it more accurately. Now electoral system means democracy, albeit minimally, European democracy, however, requires a certain democracy. But there are both elections and opposition to democracy in Turkey. Where does this paradox come from? It’s because of that. They say; If there is democracy in Turkey, the Kurds will benefit. Democracy is avoided so that the Kurds cannot benefit, there is opposition to democracy, democratic steps are taken, and democracy is enmity. Let’s know this truth. There are elections, but the elections cannot become a part of a real democratization. That’s why. This fact needs to be seen. democratic steps are being taken, anti-democracy is being made. Let’s know this truth. There are elections, but the elections cannot become a part of a real democratization. That’s why. This fact needs to be seen. democratic steps are being taken, anti-democracy is being made. Let’s know this truth. There are elections, but the elections cannot become a part of a real democratization. That’s why. This fact needs to be seen.
The last elections, on the other hand, become more original when viewed in this context. Currently, the entire aim of the Turkish state’s AKP-MHP regime for the last 8 years, especially after the collapse plan, is to collapse and liquidate the Kurdish people’s struggle for freedom. That’s the purpose. There is an intense attack for this. He based all his domestic and foreign policy on this. He says if there are Kurds, I will crush them. Can it be thought that a government, an AKP-MHP government that is under such an attack and whose entire policy is to crush the Kurdish people and the freedom struggle, will make a truly democratic election? What do they say? It has existed for a long time, but recently they have been spoken more and more. They say that when it comes to the homeland, the rest is details. Election and democracy are both details. At the moment, they have aimed at eliminating the freedom of the Kurdish people altogether. What is needed for this? It is necessary to crush the Kurdish people’s freedom struggle. What is needed for this? Democracy forces in Turkey need to be crushed and silenced. Because the Kurds benefit from all kinds of democratic developments, he says. Is it possible to think that such a government would make a fair election? Or let’s see what they’re talking about at their own table. They call it a permanence problem, right? “We will make a choice for Turkey’s survival, for Turkey’s unity. Can these be sacrificed to an election? What’s the point of choice when it comes to these? Then there can be no such real choice. They say we must make such a choice that it will serve our genocide system, our current policy. The election is to serve these policies, to gain legitimacy, that is, to gain legitimacy again and to continue these policies effectively, they chose to increase the attacks. But they arranged everything. How many votes will they get? Who will be the new president? These are all settings. Supreme Election Board. The man was speaking yesterday; almost expressing his great enthusiasm. Now who can say that this is a fair choice? If there is an election, it will be fair and democratic. If it is not fair and democratic, that election is not an election anyway.
TO SEE THE ELECTION AS A NORMAL ELECTION IS Legitimizing
Now look at their propaganda. 40-50 televisions serve. There was no such thing in the past. TRT treated everyone equally. So did other TVs. Now what happened in the last election? Here, TRT gave Erdogan 400 hours, Kılıçdaroğlu 4 hours or 40 hours. That’s how televisions were used. On the other hand, they threw out all kinds of lies and slander. It is almost as if the PKK made an agreement with the Nation Alliance. They lied so much. HDP and CHP did not make such an agreement, they did not. No such thing. That’s how they did it, despite what they were told. They did montages, they made cassettes. Ministers carried out all kinds of activities. In the past, the Minister of Interior, Transport and Justice would resign and be replaced by an impartial person. Let them resign now, they worked most actively. In this respect, it is not correct to see this election as a truly democratic, normal election, but to legitimize it. It is to cover up such pressures. This is to cover up the facts.
There is no such election in the history of Türkiye. It can’t be in the world anyway. Who can really call that a choice? Or, according to their results, Turkish politics and political forces in Turkey can be evaluated. It is wrong to evaluate according to these results. Undoubtedly, some evaluations need to be made, they will be done. But the evaluations made entirely according to these results serve the Turkish state’s special war, the AKP-MHP government.
In this respect, seeing that this election is not an election, seeing all kinds of frauds in this election, evaluating all these and seeing all these, how this election policy and these practices of this power, this state can be overcome, how can it be prevented; You need to concentrate on it. The problem is here. The problem is that the Turkish state does not see this election reality and policies, does not take measures accordingly, and does not take steps accordingly. I’m just mentioning these for a bit. We watch television, we watch the reviews. In fact, evaluations are made as if there was a normal election, as if it was a normal choice. This brings about not seeing the facts. Yes, it is different to evaluate the shortcomings and inadequacies of opposition groups and other segments. They are already evaluated. But this, It is necessary to reveal very clearly what kind of election the election environment is. For example, let’s look at Kurdistan; Weren’t there so many arrests before the election? Wasn’t there that much pressure? Was there no pressure to close HDP? Arrests were made almost everywhere in the second round? In this respect, such pressure was exerted that the HDP was already declared the enemy. The CHP was declared a traitor because it was associated with the HDP, it was declared an enemy, it was declared an invader. These facts need to be seen. Otherwise, great errors will occur. Evaluations made under criticism, under the name of this and that, without seeing these facts serve to hide the true face of the AKP-MHP government, this state reality. This fact should be known by everyone. Weren’t there so many arrests before the election? Wasn’t there that much pressure? Was there no pressure to close HDP? Arrests were made almost everywhere in the second round? In this respect, such pressure was exerted that the HDP was already declared the enemy. Evaluations made under criticism, under the name of this and that, without seeing these facts serve to hide the true face of the AKP-MHP government, this state reality. ALLIANCES MUST BE TAKEN RIGHT
First of all, let me state: HDP’s policy of entering the elections unanimously is a correct policy. To discuss the correctness of this policy of alliances, to raise doubts about this policy of alliances will not only serve the AKP-MHP government, but also sabotage the HDP’s project to fight together with the democratic forces of Turkey. In this respect, HDP’s policy of holding elections with the party that has been running since 2015 is very important. No party before that. Just what did it mean? It meant getting some Kurds elected as parliamentarians. It did not express a policy, a strategy.
With the HDP, a new strategy, a new policy was put into effect. Together with the democratic forces in Turkey, the strategy of democratizing Turkey was put forward. Because Turkey is not an overseas colony, a country with an overseas sovereignty, as elsewhere in the world. A country intertwined with Türkiye. In this respect, there is a direct link between the solution of the Kurdish problem and the democratization of Turkey. HDP’s alliance project is about this. From this point of view, blocking, criticizing the alliance policy is to nullify this project. In fact, it is leaving the Kurdish people without politics. This would be sabotaging the policy of democratizing Turkey and liberating Kurdistan, solving the Kurdish problem with the forces of democracy in Turkey. This fact must be known. Who are those who want to break the Kurds from the democratic forces of Türkiye? It is MIT, AKP, MHP. Centuries-old colonial policies. They want to isolate the Kurds and commit genocide, they want to oppress them. The Kurds should not play this trick. Turkish democracy forces cannot democratize Turkey without a common struggle for democracy with the Kurds, Turkey’s most dynamic democracy forces.
ALLIANCE OF LABOR AND FREEDOM MUST REACH WIDER SECTIONS
The source of the reaction in Turkey is the genocidal colonialism in Kurdistan. In this respect, it is very important for the Kurdish people and the peoples of Turkey to unite in their struggle for democracy. You have to see it like this once. They are now up for election. The Labor Freedom Alliance received 10.5 percent of the vote. Half a point down from 2018. Because in 2018 HDP entered the elections together with TİP. At that time TYPE had not entered with the list. He was elected with TİP. TİP was elected as a deputy in Hatay. Again, Erkan Baş became a deputy of Istanbul. This aspect should be evaluated as such. They got 10.5 votes. Of course, that’s a separate issue. We also criticized TİP. We said that this choice is not that choice. We said that it is not correct to enter with separate lists. This can be criticized and discussed. This is being discussed, but partly because of this, this Labor and Freedom Alliance is being worn out, trying to distribute. Yes, this can be criticized, but it cannot be a justification for the dissolution of this Labor and Freedom Alliance. The Labor and Freedom Alliance should have reached wider audiences, it’s true. We agree with that. It could reach wider audiences. Lists are always missing. Nobody can ever do the right thing on lists, it’s hard. It is not easy. There are dissatisfied people in every list, there may be resentful ones. The problem is not there. How could the alliance expand, how could it reach wider audiences; More attention should be paid to this. Nobody can ever do the right thing on lists, it’s hard. It is not easy. There are dissatisfied people in every list, there may be resentful ones. The problem is not there. How could the alliance expand, how could it reach wider audiences; More attention should be paid to this. Nobody can ever do the right thing on lists, it’s hard. It is not easy. There are dissatisfied people in every list, there may be resentful ones. The problem is not there. How could the alliance expand, how could it reach wider audiences; More attention should be paid to this.
There are shortcomings in this regard. This is a separate issue, but there was an alliance, it happened from now on. Or here are the Kurdish votes, I don’t know, these are elected as deputies. These are not correct things. In the past, it had a maximum of 35 deputies. Now it has reached 65 in its most difficult state; 30 more. Among these 30, there are also Kurds. This aspect should be evaluated. There must be criticism, but there must be true criticism. Criticism should not be made under the guidance of some. 6 out of 61 deputies are from the left of Türkiye. A few friends have already been involved in this movement for a long time. They are those who struggled with this party before the HDP. There is a struggle for democracy in Turkey, there is a leftist tradition. Of the seas, of the Mahirs, of Wisdom Kıvılcımlı… These should of course be included in this. But it should not be limited to just these. It is necessary to open up to wider circles. But such discussions were developed especially over TIP. This will nearly dissolve the Labor and Freedom Alliance. Approaches as if nothing comes to us from this are wrong. Criticizing the shortcomings is separate. Doing so weakens the political struggle of the Kurds. It reduces the number of deputies won by the Kurds, does not increase them. Such cheap evaluations should not be made. It should be done realistically, it should be calculated correctly. In this respect, it seems as if there is such a direction. I think this is an atmosphere created by the MIT, AKP, KDP and KDP supporters. It is anti-Kurdish in the name of Kurdishness. Those rhetoric are of no use to the Kurds. The Kurds will suffer from it. The Kurds will suffer from the dissolution of the Labor and Freedom Alliance. We can even say: One of the biggest gains of the Kurds; to reach the peoples of Türkiye by making such an alliance. A certain number of people have been reached in Turkey’s metropolises in Istanbul, Izmir and Çukurova. This is an important development, this is a success.
NO ONE SHOULD MAKE CHEAP ASSESSMENTS OF THE ALLIANCE
In this respect, people are really surprised to see it. It can’t be that pure. The Turkish state private war should be well understood. What is it aiming for; they are well understood. In the first introduction, we said that we have brought the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people to this point, because they understood the greatness of the Leader, the success of the Leader in the struggle, the reality of the private war in Turkey, the reality of the Turkish state. Now there is a special war game on the HDP, on the Labor and Freedom Alliance, it has a policy. This should not be done, it should be taken care of. It is different to see and criticize some shortcomings, but it is different to come to these games. HDP and Green Left Party “we will evaluate, we will see our shortcomings”, but it is necessary to see where the shortcomings are. And the pressure on the HDP, the pressure on the Kurdish people for how many years, No one should make a cheap assessment without seeing so many arrests. It’s not easy really. They’re still struggling. The struggle under pressure should not be underestimated, and the results should not be seen too weak. The public’s attitude is correct. There may be deficiencies in organization, there may be some deficiencies in going to wider segments. It can be searched here. Otherwise, there is no shortage in the attitude of the people. People keep their stance. There is nothing missing in the Labor and Freedom Alliance project. There is no mistake in its establishment, but there are mistakes made, there are deficiencies. People keep their stance. There is nothing missing in the Labor and Freedom Alliance project. There is no mistake in its establishment, but there are mistakes made, there are deficiencies. People keep their stance. There is nothing missing in the Labor and Freedom Alliance project. There is no mistake in its establishment, but there are mistakes made, there are deficiencies.
Of course, wider audiences should be reached. We are really surprised. There is pressure on the HDP and the Green Left from almost all sides. I think they are a little affected. Yes, they should evaluate a little and give self-criticism, but they should not be affected by these pressures. They should not go to evaluations by being affected by those pressures. Pay attention to that too. They want to rake the left. 6 deputies were removed. There are 1-2 such in Istanbul, 1 in Mersin, 1 in Adana, and 6 such in İzmir. Others are segments that have already been in this party for a long time.
ALLIANCE OF LABOR AND FREEDOM DID NOT FAIL
The Labor and Freedom Alliance received 10.5 votes. Yes, the vote rate has dropped a little. It’s like when the threshold drops to 7 percent, there are some weaknesses in that old motivation. Let’s see that too. The important thing is to criticize this weakness. Why were these weaknesses shown? There were segments that voted before, there was to ensure that they voted for HDP and the Green Left Party permanently for this alliance. Because let’s face it, there were some who didn’t want the HDP to fall under the threshold, they did. The important thing is to keep their votes permanent. Here, trust should not be seen as a vote. There are shortcomings here.
A Sivas Deputy Candidate of HDP was telling. He was saying, I went to Sivas. I asked for votes; they said, “We voted for you in the last election to cross the threshold. But now you can’t remove a deputy. In this respect, we value you, but we will also vote for the CHP.” Yes, there are those who say so. Also, it was necessary to work well not only in places where deputies were elected, but also in places where they were not elected. Since I have seen this before, I said that this approach will reduce the vote rate. It is necessary to work everywhere, not only in the place where the deputy is elected. Votes have been taken before, we need to get them again. But this could not be done.
The Labor Freedom Alliance should not be seen as a failure. But they could have had better results. The state also has regulations. The steals have to take these and these into account. Also, the Labor and Freedom Alliance should not be seen as just an electoral alliance. The real struggle begins after that. This alliance needs to be further expanded. This alliance must become an alliance of struggle. There should be criticism-self-criticism against the deficiencies in itself. TİP should give criticism-self-criticism, let’s say if there is a deficiency. Let’s say both the Green Left Party and the HDP should criticize their shortcomings. It must continue to strengthen the alliance. Yes, I can criticize. For example, why didn’t the alliance come together immediately after the first round, and didn’t make an evaluation? The alliance should be taken seriously. This alliance must continue and be strengthened. Not to continue this alliance, failing to strengthen it, not making this project effective will harm the Kurds, harm the HDP, and make it weaker. If this is acted on according to the criticisms of some, it will make it weaker. Regardless of what others, these special fighters, AKP members, MIT, KDP say, they should look ahead by evaluating their own shortcomings and inadequacies.
KURDISH SAID NO
The presidential system in Turkey does not exist in the world. One-man system, parliament has no influence. Indeed, the influence of parliament is at the bottom. In this respect, the important thing in this election was the Presidential election, the attitude on that issue. The attitude of the Kurdish people, the Labor Freedom Alliance, was very clear on this issue. The Kurdish people and the Labor Freedom Alliance had the clearest stance on this issue. They went clear, they showed their stance. They supported Kılıçdaroğlu, but, for example, did all the members of the Good Party supported the six-party table? Suspicious. There are real doubts about this. Again, some of the other parties at the six-party table, maybe the base, gave, some did not. It seems so. Or maybe it didn’t go to the polls. Indeed, especially in the first round, the Kurdish people and their friends showed their stance very intensely. No one can say anything about this. Nobody has anything to say. The Kurdish people have made their stance clear and unequivocal. He has shown that he is in favor of the struggle for democracy. The Kurdish people are the leading force in Turkey’s democratization. It is so today, and it will be so tomorrow. Because it carries out a policy on the democratization of Turkey and the solution of the Kurdish problem. It is already a democratic movement, a pioneering movement in democracy. It is a movement that is the pioneer of democracy not only in Turkey but also in the Middle East. In fact, it is a movement that is the pioneer of democracy in the world with its women’s freedom line. such a move. It carries out a policy on the democratization of Turkey and the solution of the Kurdish problem. It is already a democratic movement, a pioneering movement in democracy. It is a movement that is the pioneer of democracy not only in Turkey but also in the Middle East. In fact, it is a movement that is the pioneer of democracy in the world with its women’s freedom line. such a move.
Of course, the Kurds will also take a stand in the struggle for democracy in Turkey. Now there is a reality of the Kurds who are under genocide. At the moment, it is the AKP-MHP government that has brought the policy of genocide to its peak. In this respect, the Kurdish question is complex in the Middle East and in Turkey. In this respect, the Kurds will also make policy. This struggle will not work without politics, it will not work without tactics. In fact, if there is a very wealthy people in the world who need politics and tactics, if there is a struggle for freedom, it is the Kurds. This is due to the complexity of the Kurdish question. In this respect, the Kurds put forward the right policy. Democracy forces put forward the right policy, they voted for Kılıçdaroğlu. The Kurds will either remain without a policy or show this attitude. In this respect, of course, the Kurds will take a stand in the direction of democracy. Those who think about the freedom of the Kurdish people, They will adopt the attitude that serves democracy on the basis of which attitude serves democracy and which does not. On the other hand, they will take the stance of regressing fascism. This is the right attitude. They did this. But in the second round, various propagandas were made. AKP, MIT, trolls, KDP did it; “Kurds should not go to the ballot box, should not vote”. This is not the will of the Kurds, it is not the attitude of any Kurdish political will. Of course, there was a basis for revealing these. For example, here is the case of Özdağ. Based on that, that was the ground to justify it. Because the issue of trustees, which is the most sensitive issue for the Kurds, was brought to the agenda and therefore had a limited impact. But it’s not true. It shouldn’t be affected. We Kurds make politics for ourselves, we make tactics for ourselves. We don’t do it for this. He is doing it for the democratization of Turkey, and he should. The question is not who wins. The Kurds did this for themselves, not for Kılıçdaroğlu. They did it for democracy, to regress fascism. It created a perception as if they took it away and voted for CHP and Kılıçdaroğlu. There is no such thing. But it was the right policy. It would be given to him. The Kurds took that stance. We did not say this, we did not have such an approach.
KURDS NEED RIGHT POLICIES, RIGHT TACTICS
The Kurdish political movement took such a decision. In our opinion, their decision was correct. From this point of view, in the last round, I probably did not go to the polls by around 4-5 percent in Kurdistan. Not everywhere like this, some places. It increased in Batman and Şırnak, but there were such decreases in 1-2 places like Ağrı. It wasn’t supposed to be. The reaction has grounds, but it wasn’t right. This is not policy. Kurds do not need emotional reaction, they need politics, they need political struggle. It needs the right policy, tactics. If the Kurds act with emotions, then private war always leads. Some patriots showed such an emotional and reactive approach, but it had to be seen. So it wasn’t explained well, it should have been explained better. They described these approaches. Actually, this is AKP policy, MIT, KDP, various groups. They said they do. But it means that we could not convince effectively. There was a 4 to 5 percent decrease. But this reduction is not just about him. Although the Kurds are poor, they are all workers, laborers. Or they will starve. You know, Kurds have been expatriates everywhere for thousands of years. It has been around for thousands of years. It is the same in Turkey, it is the same in Iran. It is the same in Iraq, it is the same in Syria. They have always gone abroad as workers. This is the main feature of the Kurds. Especially now, the economic conditions in Kurdistan are challenging. It used to be difficult to go abroad, now it is easier. Everyone has relatives there, acquaintances, there is this and that. In this respect, two and a half of that 5 percent is due to this. But these are not enough to change the results of the election. Let’s say it got almost two and a half million more votes. This vote of the Kurds is something between at least and at most 200-300 thousand. Maybe not that much. It is not a rate that will change the results of such an election.
IF DEMOCRACY WILL COME TO TURKEY, IT WILL COME WITH THE ATTITUDES OF THE Kurds
The Kurds openly voted for Kılıçdaroğlu in the second round. AKP’s votes did not increase in Kurdistan. Those who voted for Sinan Ogan voted for AKP. In this respect, I think the attitude of the Kurds is positive. Everyone should appreciate this. Democracy in Turkey should appreciate the forces. They should appreciate this attitude of the Kurds the most. This is very important. It is very important for the Kurds to take a stand for democracy and for freedom. In this respect, the Kurds have proven their maturity even more. They have made this clear once again. They are the engine and strength of democracy in Turkey. If democracy is to come to Turkey, it will come with the attitude of the Kurds. With this attitude, the Kurds keep the democratic forces in Turkey dynamic, they keep them alive. If there is still a struggle for democracy in Turkey today, the struggle of the Kurds has a large share in it. The Kurds showed this stance. Everyone should see this. The attitude of the Kurds should be appreciated.
OPPOSITION POWERS DID NOT FIGHT
The opposition, the opposition within the system, and the Nation Alliance made important mistakes. We need to point this out. Now he had to see the reality of AKP-MHP and take measures. They had to struggle. They had to take an attitude. In the first place, they did not take a stand against trustees and immunities. The normalization of this AKP-MHP government, these antidemocratic practices, and the normalization of reaction came step by step. They had many attacks. They said, “Let’s not go out on the street, let’s not react,” and they prevented the people’s struggle. They took the lead and could not fight effectively in this respect. They thought that Erdogan could not be President. They could not resist the YSK, they could not put it under pressure. They couldn’t do this. Let’s say there was an election; The Minister of Interior, Minister of Justice, Minister of Transport did not resign, they used state resources. He could have wreaked havoc on them. They acted like it was a normal choice. They were besieged and this is what happened. The AKP-MHP fascist government had weakened in Turkey, it could have been overcome. If they had taken the right attitude, they wouldn’t have made this election so undemocratic. They could have taken it with elections in more democratic and more equal conditions. But they had to take the risk; not go by election, then they would struggle. Elections were also a struggle, and they did not struggle. After that, he made all kinds of pressure, made all kinds of applications, used all his means, cheated. All kinds of pressure have become normal. In this respect, the attitude of the opposition within the system was really weak. If they don’t see this, the situation may get worse for them. Or they become their substitute. Not part of the struggle for democracy, they become the denominator of fascist power. Yes, the CHP has made such a denominator for a long time. He worked a little lately, tried to break away from it, but it was not enough. The struggle was weak. If the Nation Alliance is to be criticized within the system, it can be criticized within this framework. We have already evaluated and criticized them for a long time.
ERDOĞAN WILL GO HOW OTHER DICTATORS GO
The struggle against fascism is not just an election struggle. AKP could not get the desired result in the election. We should not fall into any pessimism just because Erdoğan won the majority in the parliament. This is the wrong approach. This means expecting everything from the election. No such thing. We did not have such an approach. But of course, it is necessary to evaluate the choices. It is necessary to make this a part of the struggle and see it as such. But it may be the work of the opposition within the system to think that it will only get results through elections. Ours is not an opposition within the system, it is a revolutionary democracy opposition, and we will get this result with the people, with the organization of the people, with their effective struggle, and with attitudes. Yes, it is difficult, there is a lot of pressure, fascism is attacking, these are true. But this is also true; This power, this fascism has weakened, it is still weak. He found a new area of legitimacy with the election, but this does not strengthen him, just a new legitimacy. Of course, legitimacy is important in politics, but it has not been strengthened, it is still weak. If this aspect is struggled, this power will be overthrown and broken. The period of hard struggle is also effective revolutionary struggles, great revolutionary struggles and should get great results. In this respect, fascism’s hardening, its attack, and its unwillingness to go through elections means this: This will become just as dictators are falling in other parts of the world. This will be the end of Erdogan. It will be like the fall of other dictators. Because it is very aggressive. It implements fascism in its darkest form. If it is struggled, of course, this break can be created. THE OPPOSITION NEEDS TO REACH THE LARGEST SECTIONS
This has potential. Here it is called 48 percent. Not even an effective struggle of 30 percent will take this power away. He did not take 60-70 percent of him with him in the revolution, the struggle for democracy anywhere in the world. The important thing is to mobilize effective forces. If they pass, the forces around them will also be affected, and the results will matter. Let me point out that; The Labor and Freedom Alliance will determine the quality and strength of the struggle for democracy in Turkey. What will be the situation of other democratic forces, those who want democracy? It will be determined by the Labor and Freedom Alliance. If the Alliance for Labor and Freedom is effective, they will be radicalized and they will become effective too. In this respect, the Labor and Freedom Alliance should see in itself the problem of developing the struggle for democracy in Turkey and reach the widest circles.
Of course, they should also take into account the sociology of Türkiye in this regard. They need to take into account that we are a Middle Eastern society. The moral values of the society are important. Europe is the material civilization, the Middle East is the world of spiritual civilization. This distinction cannot be ignored. If this distinction is ignored, the right policy and the right attitudes cannot be put forward. In this respect, the forces of labor, freedom and democracy will see that; The ground is strong, the conditions for struggle are very great. Now the sovereigns have lost their power to rule societies as before. This AKP-MHP government has also lost. That’s why he resorts to so much violence, he resorts to force. Seeing this, they must organize and develop their struggles. Organization, organization, organization… Struggle, struggle, struggle.. Developing rich methods on organization and rich methods on struggle, and on this basis Turkey’s
ERDOĞAN’S POWER IS WEAK, TO ATTACK
We listened to Erdogan’s balcony speech. It’s all bullshit there, too. The essence is this: a weak power. This government will continue its attacks to eliminate its weakness. It will be hostile to the Kurds, attack the Medya Defense Zones, attack Rojava. This is how you have to see it. Because it’s a weak power. By ramping up chauvinism, it will try to cover up economic problems, earthquakes, destruction and other things with these external attacks. This fact needs to be seen. Against this, the Kurdish people must be ready by seeing that there will be more severe attacks in Bakur, they must be organized. Because it cannot survive without fighting against it. Of course, the guerrilla’s resistance against this was and will continue. It is Rojava, Rojhilat, Europe, Kurds everywhere need to put up a struggle against it. They must take a firm stand. They have to carry on this struggle by enduring all kinds of difficulties. Because it is fascist power; will attack. We understood this from Erdogan’s approach. Presumably, Devlet Bahçeli also said this. What Devlet Bahçeli said should not be understood in any other way than hostility to Kurds, fascist aggression. Attacks such as attacking the Kurdish people, liquidating the Kurdish Freedom Movement, attacking Rojava, Bashur, Shengal, Maxmur, making assassinations in various provinces, and further attacking democratic politics will be carried out like Erdogan. It is necessary to organize against it. With organized power, they are wasted. Yes, the attacks are heavy, but there is a 50-year struggle against it. The Kurdish people have a great longing for freedom. And there is a tradition of organized culture. Based on this, he must raise his struggle.
KDP AND HIZBOLLAH ARE ONE TOGETHER
The Kurdish people know the reality of HUDA-PAR very well. Yes, HUDA-PAR attacked in the 90’s, when serhilda developed the most. The state did this. It was a state attack. The state used Hezbollah to prevent the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people. That’s for sure. The state used At that time it was called JİTEM. What is the current JITEM? Who? Soylu is the head of JİTEM now. They used Hezbollah. They really used it and then they went over it. I know their leaders very well. We were classmates in politics together. It was actually used by the state. After that, it was thought that the PKK was over. It was said that the PKK was exhausted. He was eliminated. This is the history of Hezbollah, this is the history of HUDA PAR. It is now used in the same way. Kurds should see this. Now who is this HUDA-PAR in a relationship with? In a relationship with the KDP? The Turkish state uses the KDP as it uses HUDA-PAR and Hezbollah. Says Soylu, it will be very beneficial for Turkey. When he says Türkiye will benefit, he says it will help a lot in liquidating the Kurdish people’s freedom struggle. They do the same for the KDP. At the moment, Hezbollah has the most relations with the AKP and the KDP. Currently, KDP and Hezbollah are intertwined. In this respect, all Kurds should see this. In the reality of HUDA-PAR, in the reality of HUDA-PAR’s relationship with the AKP, in the assessment of HUDA-PAR by Süleyman Soylu… The Turkish state should recognize its private war. In this context, they should see what the KDP is. All Kurds must reveal what this assessment of Süleyman Soylu means. This cannot be ignored. HUDA-PAR for Kurdish freedom, He will use it in the genocide policy of the Kurdish people. What matters right now is the elimination of the PKK for them. Any organization can be used to liquidate the PKK. It’s not important to them. They will use HUDA-PAR. They also use KDP. In this regard, this is very important. Sometimes they have difficulties, they say why did you make an alliance or something. To explain this, he made it clear what the intention of the special war was. In this respect, this is an explanation that should be well evaluated by the Kurds. To explain this, he made it clear what the intention of the special war was. In this respect, this is an explanation that should be well evaluated by the Kurds. To explain this, he made it clear what the intention of the special war was. In this respect, this is an explanation that should be well evaluated by the Kurds.
MAXMUR RAISES IRAQ’S MORAL VALUES
I salute the resistance of the people of Maxmur. People of Maxmur means Botan. It is like a small model of Botan. It is the homeland. The spirit of resistance in Botan is embodied in Maxmur. They all have martyrs anyway. Martyrs’ camp. Every family has several martyrs. In this respect, the Turkish state is hostile to Maxmur. Türkiye and KDP are behind Iraq’s attack on Maxmur. This fact must be known. Everyone should know this. All Kurds should know. This attack is not an Iraqi attack. This attack is an attack on Türkiye and the KDP. Türkiye blackmails me, he says, I will not give you water. “I will cut off your water,” he says. “I will kill you of thirst,” he says. The KDP says, “If you don’t do this, I will cooperate with Turkey more”. He says I will cause you trouble, and comes to Iraq and attacks the Maxmurians. The Maxmurians say we have no problem with Iraq. Indeed, Maxmur has no problems with Iraq. It’s good for Iraq. It raises the morale of Iraq. It’s not harmful to Iraq, it’s beneficial. If the damage is seen as follows; Here is Maxmur, these are patriotic Kurds, the Turkish state does not like them, Turkey puts pressure on us. The reason for the Turkish state to put pressure on Iraq is this today, tomorrow it will be this, tomorrow it will be someone else. If Iraq does not see this, it does not recognize the Turkish state. The aim of the Turkish state is to annex Mosul and Kirkuk. It is clear. They openly admit this. When will they do it? They’re waiting for your timing. It’s clear. In this respect, we want the Iraqi state to abandon this policy. Maxmur does no harm to Iraq. It’s good for Iraq. He paid the price in the fight against ISIS. In this respect, all Kurds must stand up for the resistance of the Maxmur people. It should also put pressure on the KDP while taking ownership. KDP is making them do it. This fact also needs to be known.
