On 8 June 2023, fierce clashes took place between the invading Turkish army and our forces in the Licê district of Amed. In these conflicts, our comrades Xemgîn Serhed and Bahoz Farqîn, one of our Fedai Commanders, were martyred.
Comrade Xemgîn, who has a strong ideological and organizational background and has been a guerrilla in many areas in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, in which he has been involved for 23 years, has become one of the leading commanders of Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism with his self-sacrificing devotion to the Leader’s line and his military experience. Comrade Xemgîn, who is determined to further expand our struggle by making moves, has managed to become one of the most outstanding examples of Apoist self-deprecating militancy and command.
Comrade Bahoz, who made great breakthroughs in the guerrilla ranks in a short time with his sharp intelligence, dedication to the struggle and anger towards the enemy, became a militant that all Kurdish youth will take as an example with his courage and devotion to the values of freedom.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the valuable families of our Fedai Commander Xemgîn Serhed and Bahoz Farqîn, who took their honorable place in the history of our people’s struggle with their uncompromising and self-sacrificing participation in the Apoist line.

Our comrade Xemgîn studied in Turkish public schools for only three years, and then he had to immigrate with his family to the metropolises of Turkey. He stood on his own feet in the metropolises of Turkey, worked in jobs that contributed to his family economically, and got to know the working class and the labor phenomenon in Istanbul. Of course, along with this, he saw the theft of labor, the inequality between classes, the life of the bourgeoisie on the one hand, and the starvation of the exploited classes on the other. All this led to the emergence of a deep class contradiction in our comrade Xemgîn, It has led him to seek an alternative to the brutal capitalist order and to lean towards democratic socialist ideology. Comrade Xemgîn, who grew up as a Kurdish child of the same age with the glorious breakthrough of August 15, 1984, recognized our struggle for freedom step by step. Comrade Sema Yüce, who was martyred on June 17, 1998 by demonstrating her stance in the Apoist line and unequivocally demonstrating her devotion to Rêber Apo, by saying, “Just as there are no two suns in the sky, cannot be two moral centers for us,” is an important turning point in our struggle. has been. Comrade Xemgîn carried out practical activities in the fields of Xinêre and Zap after he joined. Since he was influenced by the Fedais and joined the PKK on the basis of self-sacrifice, he chose to serve his people by joining the Hêzên Taybet organization, by organizing the revolution march with the formation of a self-sacrificing person, sacrificing every moment. In 2003, when the treacherous liquidationist tendency was trying to gnaw at our Movement from the inside and dominate it, Comrade Xemgîn stood against this and gave the most meaningful answer by going to Hêzên Taybet and raising the Apoist self-determination militancy. Although Comrade Xemgîn studied only three years in public school, he became a life wise man by reading the life experiences he gained, what he learned in the guerrilla, the teachings of Apoist philosophy in the vastness of an ocean, and Apoist analyzes that recreated the free man. He participated in the actions that developed in many areas, especially in the Martyr Brusk area of Amed, and he pioneered with his high courage and Apoist sacrifice spirit. With his expertise in assassination and sabotage tactics, he applied guerrilla tactics competently and had a share in initiatives that put technique at the service of tactics. After 8 intense years of gasping, he moved to Medya Defense Zones during the withdrawal process in 2013. To make an accounting of this process, to take the necessary lessons, to give self-criticism, to convey his vast experience to his comrades, He was involved in the training process at the Haki Karer Academy within the body of Apollo Academies in 2014 in order to grasp the term tactic and prepare himself for the new term duties. After completing his training here, he gained the high trust of his comrades with his self-sacrificing stance and assumed responsibility for the safety of our comrades in the Party administration. It has approached this task with great responsibility against the tendencies of the colonialist genocidal Turkish state and the forces hostile to our Movement, targeting our comrades under the Party leadership. After successfully fulfilling this duty for four years, he became involved in Hêzên Taybet’s activities in 2018, and he took on the task of training the valiant bouncers of our people by joining shoulder to shoulder with his friend Cumali Çorum. He made a great effort for the Apoist Fedayeen militants to specialize, and struggled to transfer everything he learned from the Party to his comrades. Comrade Xemgîn became a commander who set an example for many of his comrades by embodying his wise stance and self-sacrifice measures. Our party has been involved in the training process in the PKK’s Sakine Cansız Ocağı in order to fulfill its larger Party duties and to respond to its term assignments in the most competent way. The education process and the concentration he experienced here became an important turning point in the revolution march of our comrade Xemgîn.
After completing the training process in the PKK Quarter with a great love of struggle, determination and determination, he turned his face to Amed again. Comrade Xemgîn, who undertook different duties from guerrilla warrior to Apoist self-defense militancy, from team commander to provincial commander, moved to Amed as one of the leading commanders of Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism. We had a commander who immediately joined the tough guerrilla practice in Amed, and took responsibility with the advantage of knowing Amed with years of experience. In recent years, when the enemy’s orientation was very intense, he skillfully thwarted all enemy attacks, led his comrades, and knew how to inflict the heaviest blows on the enemy when he had the opportunity.
Like a dervish, Comrade Xemgîn, who sacrificed his whole life, came into contact with the invading Turkish army on June 8, 2023, and a conflict took place here. Comrade Bahoz, who managed to deepen in the Leadership ideology by his own means, despite not receiving a central education within the party, has succeeded in representing the essence of Apoist militancy in his personality. Again, our comrade Bahoz, who has made a tremendous effort to restructure the guerrilla, to develop the Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism and to reflect this in his own practice; It has been in a deep concentration from the way of movement to the way of action and the smallest detail of the guerrilla life. He not only thought, but also shared his thoughts with his comrades and enabled them to become competent in the new era of guerrillaism.
Comrade Bahoz, who has undertaken many critical tasks in the Amed field and successfully fulfilled these duties, has earned a place in the hearts of all his comrades with his sincere comradeship, self-sacrificing and hardworking personality.
