“The invading Turkish state, which has been developing genocidal attacks against our people for a century and has not refrained from committing numerous massacres for this purpose, carried out a comprehensive invasion operation against the Medya Defense Areas, especially the Zap, in 2022. The invaders, who wanted to carry their attacks to the west of the Zap, struck the unshakable will of the Apoist Fedayeen. Our comrades Tevar, Eylem and Rênçber, who are in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area, fought with great faith, courage and determination to reach martyrdom against the invaders who tried to reach the end by carrying out the most intense attacks in the history of the war, which lasted for months.
Acting with the reality that Apoist sacrifice is a way of life, our comrades Tevar, Eylem and Rênçber became the most distinguished militants of our party PKK and PAJK by fighting as they lived. Our comrades Reşid and Êrîş, the valiant militants of Rojavayê Kurdistan, have also made great efforts to carry out the new period guerrilla tactics in a richer way and to deal a blow to the enemy with effective actions. Our comrades Reşid and Êrîş fell martyr in the enemy attack that took place while they were on duty in order to meet the needs of their comrades on the battlefield and to strengthen the infrastructure of the resistance. These valuable comrades, who became martyrs while working selflessly, proved that they are exemplary Apoist militants with their lives and persistence in the struggle. The Kurdish people, who have lived for thousands of years in the geography of Kurdistan, which is defined as paradise in the holy books and which is the main place of many revolutions that shape human history, preserved its existence as one of the most ancient peoples in history. The artificial borders created by the nation-states by the imperialist powers to colonize the rights of the Middle East have affected the Kurdish people the most, and our people have been made refugees in the lands they have lived in for thousands of years. The fascist Turkish nation-state mentality based on monism rejected the existence of our oppressed people as a whole; By banning its language, history and culture, it has made it the target of brutal genocidal attacks. Our people, who have responded with resistance to the attacks that have developed against their existence throughout history, have settled in the ancient mountains of Kurdistan, It has always kept the fire of rebellion alive on the peaks of the mountains. Our struggling Serhed people came to the fore as one of the resistance centers that resisted the invasion attacks and insisted on a dignified life, and went down in the history of our people with their insistence on a free life line. Our people, who put up a great resistance to protect their existence and dignity, have faced the most extensive and brutal attacks in history and have been massacred countless times. The Geliyê Zîlan Massacre, which was carried out by the colonial Turkish state in 1930 and left a deep mark on our people’s memory, was a clear reflection of the occupiers’ genocidal policies. Thousands of our people, including women, children and the elderly, were brutally murdered in Geliyê Zîlan, and dozens of villages were burned and destroyed. The war crimes committed by the colonial mentality have been handed down from generation to generation,
Rêber Apo, who emerged at a time when the Kurdish genocide was developing a lot, the free Kurdish identity was destroyed, the idea of Kurdistan was buried under concrete, and the Kurds were put in a position of self-denial, Rêber Apo re-created hope in lands where despair reigned. The phrase “Kurdistan is a colony”, which came out of Rêber Apo’s tongue, was embodied by the PKK in 1978, turned into a resistance in the Amed Dungeons and a guerrilla in 1984 in the barrel of Egîd. The PKK, embodied as the hope of our people, the power of revenge and the line of a free future, has responded to the expectations of our people and shed its dead soil on Kurdistan.
The historical struggle developed by the PKK, our party, was greeted with serhildans by our oppressed people, and the self-sacrificing sons of Kurdistan joined the ranks of the resistance and took part in the unprecedented struggle against the colonialists. Our comrade Tevar, who was born in a patriotic family that is loyal to Kurdistan’s long tradition of resistance, whose anger against the colonialists is alive, and who is committed to Kurdistani social values, grew up listening to the stories of our people’s suffering. Sara Star Serhat (Leyla Yıldız), who fought selflessly against the invaders and was martyred in Colemêrg on June 17, 2018, is an Apoist militant who died in Botan on November 1, 2018, and our commander, Martyr Roza Tolhildan Serhat, who carries the spirit of victory of the period, and the line of PKK-PAJK. Our comrade Tevar, who was a relative of Martyr Berîvan Zîlan, our PAJK Assembly Member, who dedicated every moment of her life to the struggle for the realization of a dignified and free life, has become one of our comrades who grew up in the legacy of resistance created by the PKK. Comrade Tevar, who grew up in the resilient geography of Serhed and was strongly attached to Rêber Apo’s philosophy of freedom as a young Kurdish woman, had a deep consciousness from an early age and wanted to join the ranks of the struggle and become a militant of our people’s free march for a future. Our comrade Tevar, who studied at a university in Erzurum, took her first steps into the ranks of the struggle in this process. Our comrade Tevar, who never saw what she did as sufficient, believed that there must be an answer to the suffering of our people, and believed that the way to achieve this was through a militant struggle along the lines of the PKK, has constantly improved herself and has become a true seeker of truth. She knew the murderer mentality better with each passing day in the system, his desire to fight against the mentality of assimilation, denial and destruction, and most importantly, his unlimited love for Rêber Apo, brought our comrade Tevar to the ranks of the PKK. Our comrade Tevar has been attached to the Leader with pure love and deep feeling since childhood, has realized that the necessity of this love is the Leader’s struggle to provide physical freedom and to make his philosophy vital.
The deep devotion of our comrade Tevar to our Leader and our martyrs also determined the day and place of her participation. On April 4, the Leader’s birthday, and again in Riha, where the Leader was born, experienced her first socialization and first conflicts, made her first friendships and made her first big break, she joined the ranks of the struggle in 2014 and made every step she took with a high consciousness even more meaningful.
In the face of the attacks of the invading Turkish state and ISIS gangs who are hostile to humanity, Rojava Kurdistan has taken its place at the forefront to protect the great values created by the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which was created with the blood of our people and guided humanity. Our comrade Tevar, who fought selflessly by running from front to front, made the practice of war a step towards better knowing her own reality and recreating herself, and this was also reflected in her participation. After the freedom of our people in Rojava was secured, our comrade, who knew his determination to fight, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla and took his struggle against the invaders one step further. Our comrade Tevar, who became aware of herself as a woman in Kurdistan and re-created herself with effort, has been Bêrîtan since the first day she joined, she had a self-sacrificing participation in the struggle line of Zîlan and Viyans. In the light of Rêber Apo’s analyzes and defenses, she got to know herself better, and her efforts to overcome the features created by the system in her personality were continuous. This desire of our comrade Tevar, who has always sought and desired to practice the requirements of her love for Rêber Apo during all her time in the party, brought her together with Hêzên Taybet. At the same time, Semsûr, where different peoples and beliefs live together and in great harmony, has become the common living space of peoples. Our Semsûr people, who have responded to the attacks of many invading forces with great resilience throughout history and did not let the colonialists through with the fires of resistance burning on the summits of Nemrud, managed to preserve this culture of common life and resistance until today. The colonial powers, who wanted to destroy the heritage of resistance and the passion for a free life of the people of Kurdistan, developed the most brutal attacks in history and made our oppressed people refugees in the lands where they lived for millennia.
Rêber Apo’s freedom march, which lasted for half a century, grew day by day and crossed the borders of Kurdistan and gathered revolutionaries from many different peoples under the banner of struggle for democratic scientific socialism. Rêber Apo, who took over the flag of struggle from Deniz Gezmiş to Mahir Çayans and İbrahim Kaypakkaya and laid the foundations for the free future of all peoples, built indestructible bridges of brotherhood between peoples at a time when the capitalist mentality made everyone the enemy of everyone. Our party, the PKK, which has preserved the internationalist spirit it has had from the early days and immortalized the memory of Haki Karer and Kemal Pirler by raising the struggle, has become the leading force of the new life against capitalist modernity.

For the first time, Comrade Reşid saw the Apoist revolutionaries in the person of our comrade Martyr Dîcle Hesekê and had the opportunity to get to know them closely. For the first time, he recognized brave female militants and commanders who took up arms and fought for their freedom. He saw the great difference between the traditional woman in the society and the reality of the free woman who recreated herself with the ideology of freedom and was very impressed.
He participated in YXK (Yekîtiya Xwendekarên Kurdistan) activities in 2011 and took his place in patriotic revolutionary youth activities. Comrade Reşid had a lot of work with his active participation in the works during the development of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. It carried out activities in many places where the Kurdish people needed leadership, from Rojavayê Kurdistan to Basûrê Kurdistan. In this process, when he read and recognized the reality of Rêber Apo in a comprehensive way, he was deeply affected, questioned himself, considered himself indebted to the truth of the Leadership, and decided to become a professional revolutionary in order to be an answer. On the basis of this determination, our comrade Reşid joined the guerrilla ranks in Qendil in 2015.
He stepped into guerrilla activities in Qendil, took part in Komalên Ciwan studies for a while, and later practiced in different fields from public order to KCK activities. Comrade Reşid knew how to successfully fulfill every responsibility he took with his active participation, openness to learning, high adaptability and friendly personality. Comrade Reşid was impressed by the stances, attitudes, and participation styles of the members of Hêzên Taybet, whom he saw and knew, and took these friends as an example to him, wanted to be like them, and moved to Hêzên Taybet in 2018. Deciding to continue his revolutionary march on the line of self-sacrifice, he went through basic education, almost recreated himself in the educational environment, came to terms with the feudal understanding and features in his personality, and tried to situate the new free human character in his person.
Our comrade Reşid took part in the scientific-technical studies of the Democratic Modernity Guerrilla after his education and participated in these activities with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. He has made a great contribution to the studies in this field with his simple, modest and uncalculated participation. Our comrade, who always takes a revolution based on morality and conscience, has earned the love and respect of his comrades in his environment. However, despite this, he never saw himself as sufficient and always felt indebted to the Leader and his people. He has made an effort to be the right comrade with Rêber Apo, and has duly fulfilled every task given by the organization since the day he joined. Our comrade Êrîş Avent was born in a village in the city of Qamishlo in Rojavayê Kurdistan. He lived in the village in the first period of his life, then he took a step towards a new life after the family moved to the city. Although he grew up with the understanding and politics of a different party in the family, he was influenced by the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which created hope for all humanity. No obstacles or limitations could stand in the way of our comrade Êrîş, he was impressed by the atmosphere of the revolution, and his heart was filled with indescribable joy and enthusiasm. The beauty of the freedom revolution that attracts everyone to itself has also attracted our comrade Êrîş to its ranks. He turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan to join the ranks of the revolution as a professional revolutionary and became a guerrilla.
Comrade Êrîş, who stepped into guerrillaism in the Avaşîn area, took part in infrastructure works and gained early experience at the foot of the Zagros Mountains. Although he grew up on the plain, he achieved great harmony in the mountains and became a role-playing guerrilla with his enterprising and laboring personality. After carrying out practical activities for a year, our young comrade Hêzên Taybet, who has gained the high trust of her comrades and promised a bright future, has been involved in their work. Hêzên Taybet was immediately involved in her work and played a role in works that required great attention, sensitivity, meticulousness, delicacy and mastery. After carrying out practical activities for a while, he became involved in the education process in Hêzên Taybet and showed great effort to reach a stronger personality, stable participation, style and pace of sacrifice. He made an account of the past practical processes in the basic education period, and aimed to be a self-sacrificing militant of achieving great deeds, based on the principle that “the one with a great aim will have great concentration, and the one with a greater concentration will have a great practice”. Our comrade, who participated in the education process with this awareness and formed a solid foundation in his personality, was able to solve every obstacle and difficulty that he faced with the strength he received from education. What he learned from the Apoist ideology, the leadership style and the life of the martyrs became the guide of our comrade Êrîş. Comrade Êrîş has transformed his love and emotional devotion to the Leader and the martyrs into consciousness and self-sacrificing participation. He organized his personality with the awareness that the person who organizes himself is the greatest power. Comrade Êrîş lived every moment of his life to the full with the spirit of sacrifice and participated with great effort and enthusiasm.
Comrade Êrîş, who deeply assimilated the revolutionary culture and morality and embodied it in his personality, took on important duties after his education as a mature militant. It is focused on fulfilling its responsibilities by participating in technical studies that require great effort, patience and sacrifice. Our comrade, who always aims to be a perfect person, made himself felt in every environment with his youth dynamism, determination to struggle, joy of life and sincere companionship. It has provided great benefits to our struggle by organizing its revolutionary life step by step and continuing its efforts on the line of sacrifice. The great contribution of his work to our struggle has been possible thanks to the great efforts of self-sacrificing and self-sacrificing comrades like Êrîş.
Comrade Êrîş, who always thought of himself as indebted to his people, was martyred as a result of the enemy attack that took place while he was on duty in order to accomplish important works for our struggle and fulfill his responsibility. The growing martyrdom of our comrade Êrîş, who can provide greater benefits to our struggle, who promises a great future and walks with self-sacrifice, has deeply affected his comrades. Our comrade Êrîş’s incalculable participation, self-sacrificing walk and skillful working style will be taken as an example by his comrades, and his goals and dreams that he raised in his heart beating for the freedom of his people and country will definitely be realized.”
