BEHDÎNAN – The press center of the HPG published in a written statement information about three guerrillas who fell during the clashes in the Zap resistance area Şehîd last year and made the following statements:
“The occupying Turkish army, wanting to end its colonialist dreams and genocidal policies, has been developing violent attacks against the Şehîd Delîl Batı Zap region since May 25, 2022. Against these enemy attacks, our comrade Aryena and comrades Canfeda and Pale, who were in the mobile teams in the Girê Cûdî area, fought sacrificially for days and prevented the enemy from settling in that area. Our Hevals Aryena, Canfeda and Pale, who dealt effective blows to the enemy with their extraordinary resistance, also clarified the battle line against the enemy. The epic resistance put up by these self-sacrificing Hevals inspired their comrades, where a historic lesson was taught to the enemy, especially in the Girê Cûdî area and in the Şehîd Delîl Batı Zap region. Our comrade Aryena and comrades Canfeda and Pale, who formed the basis of the revolutionary operations later developed in the areas of Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Girê Şehîd Pirdoğan, became pioneers of the war against the invaders through their tenacity in struggle and resistance.
The families of our comrade Aryena and comrades Canfeda and Pale who have brought our selfless Hevals into our freedom struggle and our whole society should be proud that they have produced such brave people from their wombs and they should embrace their struggle and expand it even more . As their comrades, we promise that we will definitely make the dreams of our Şehîds Aryena, Canfeda and Pale come true and we express our condolences to the entire welatparêzen society of Kurdistan and especially to their esteemed families.

ARYENA WELAT
With the mass mobilization of our PKK party in many areas of Bakurê-Kurdistan in the early 1990s, the occupying Turkish state tried many methods to alienate our population from our party and, if possible, to turn them into enemies. The burning and destruction of villages and the development of the village guard system were the most prominent of these. Yet our society, yearning for freedom, has remained steadfastly loyal to the PKK, the name of re-existence, and has responded to this policy of the enemy by sending its most precious daughters and sons into the ranks of freedom. The family of our comrade Aryena, who comes from Bedlîs Tetwan, was also exposed to the hostilely imposed village guards, but this welatparêze family, who did not endanger their honor, has withstood enemy attacks and pressure many times. After the burning and destruction of their villages, they were forced to emigrate to Istanbul, one of the metropolises of Turkey, but they never gave up the Kurdish language and culture and managed to break the chain of genocide that the enemy wanted to put around their necks , to break through by maintaining their commitment to the values of freedom. Our comrade Aryena was born in such a precious and welatparêzen family far away from our country of Kurdistan and grew up with the deeply rooted Serhed culture that she inherited from her family. For this reason she has never separated from her essence, her heart has always beaten with our country. The enemy’s massacres of our society in Kurdistan, not even considering women and children, and the imprisonment of our Chairman, who is the reason for our existence, caused a great anger in Comrade Aryena. Like all conscientious Kurdish youth and women, she did not accept this situation and decided to join the fight. She believed that the best way to fight the genocidal Turkish state was by joining the guerrillas and joined the guerrillas in 2019.
Our comrade Aryena, who joined the ranks of the guerrilla with great love and ambition, has taken self-sacrificing participation as the basis of his guerrilla from the very beginning. Therefore, with the help of the training she and her comrades received, in a short time she made great advances in her personality and managed to become a competent guerrilla. In one of her assessments, she defined life in the PKK as “rebirth, the re-existence of man, liberation from slavery imposed on us by the enemy”. Our comrade, who was active in the Heftanin and Garê areas for a while, came to the fore with her successful practice in those areas and led her comrades as a YJA star fighter. In Hêzên Taybet, through the training she received while working, she learned something new every day and strengthened herself militarily and ideologically day by day. In particular, she immersed herself in the philosophy of women’s liberation developed by our Chair and took firm steps towards becoming a free woman. Our comrade Aryena, aware that she can only be liberated with Fedaî like Zîlan, with faith like Bêrîtan and with devotion like Viyan, has adopted Fedaî as a lifestyle for this purpose. Our comrade who wanted to embody Fedaî in every moment of her life; from the cooperative relationships to the successful completion of every task she has undertaken, she has trodden a path of Fedaî. Our comrade Aryena who simply, sincere and loving, looked and approached her Hevals in this way. Again, with her extensive world of meaning, she tried to understand all her hevals, she felt and pioneered making herself the solver. Our comrade Aryena, who researched, did not settle for the given and always acted on the motto of discovering something new, managed to become a source of morale and strength for all her hevals with these qualities in a short time. No doubt the attitude of such a beautiful human Fedaî comrade towards the enemy was extremely clear and sharp. She was one of the first comrades to respond to the invading attacks by the occupying Turkish army on the Şehîd Delîl Batı Zap region. With the mobile team she was part of, she struck as soon as the enemy landed in the guerrilla zones. Our comrade Aryena, who sacrificially fought with her hevals in the same place against the enemy’s fierce attacks, led her comrades with her courage, fought sacrificially to her last breath until she fell to Şehîd. We see it as an opportunity to know such a valuable comrade and to fight in the same positions for the same goal, and we promise that we will definitely make her dreams of freedom come true.

CANFEDA SÎPAN
Our comrade Canfeda, originally from Wan, was born in Elcewaz as a member of a welatparêzen and valuable family. Because of the Welatparêzî of his family and his environment, he knew our party from an early age. He was brought up with the awareness of the ancient Kurdish culture and the Welatparêzî. Many from the environment of our comrade Canfeda have taken part in the struggle for the existence and freedom of our society, which is in the grip of cultural and physical genocide. Comrade Canfeda, who is related to many of our Hevals who made resistance history with their epic battles and who fell to Şehîd for it, grew up with their memories. He has acquired rebellious personality traits that do not accept oppression. He is sensitive to his environment and has developed an understanding of his responsibility towards people. He was old enough to understand why the guerrillas whose heroic stories he heard growing up were in the mountains. He began to understand that our country was being divided and occupied and that our language and culture were to be destroyed by a policy of assimilation. Our comrade Canfeda felt great hatred and anger at these inhumane practices. He was of the opinion that the occupiers could not only be fought with emotional reactions and began to look for a way out. Our struggle, which has become a reality in Kurdistan, has become the first port of call for each and every freedom seeker. Under the influence of the welatparêzen environment in which he was, our comrade Canfeda began to follow our struggle more closely and learn with interest. As he read and developed, he became aware of his responsibilities and took an active part in the work. The policy of denial and annihilation of the fascist Turkish regime meant that our comrade Canfeda distanced himself more and more from the system day by day and the existing contradictions increased even more. After realizing that he could only participate in the fascist regime with falsehood, lies and self-denial, he refused to study in the occupier’s schools and left them. He did not consider his struggle sufficient and believed that he had to make more radical decisions. The realization of the Rojava Freedom Revolution organized with the ideology of Rêber APO, has instilled in all mankind the belief that a free life is possible again. Especially in other parts of Kurdistan, it was received with great enthusiasm and became a source of morale. Our comrade Canfeda was also overjoyed by the achievements of the revolution. Our comrade Canfeda, who started his guerrilla career in Garzan, also received his first training there. Our comrade Canfeda took the existing process as an opportunity, evolved and quickly adapted to guerrilla work. His unstoppable, inquisitive and agile manner earned him the respect of his Hevals. Although a novice, his attitude and outspoken personality paved the way for his first guerrilla experiences in the difficult Garzan area. When our comrade Canfeda saw the efforts and approaches of his hevals to form it, he was very impressed and tried hard to be worthy of this interest. As the process deteriorated, he was drawn into the active war process and played his part. During this process he was unfortunately wounded and transferred to the Medya Defense Zones. After the end of his treatment, he made many suggestions for the fight against ISIS, the scourge of mankind. Thanks to his persistence, his proposal was accepted and he played an active role in many anti-IS actions in Kerkuk and Mexmur. He fulfilled his task here and returned to the Medya Defense Zones after successfully fulfilling his duties.
Our comrade Canfeda was a tireless adherent of the revolutionary line to be worthy of the apoist life. He fulfilled the principles of correct participation, lived apoism, which is a life of depth, grandeur, and courage, and made his Hevals live it too. From the day he joined the fight to his martyrdom, he was not a follower but a driver. He performed his duties and responsibilities with great love. To be a self-sacrificing fighter of Rêber APO, he took the guerrillas of the new era as a basis. Reading our Chairman’s books, he became self-aware and tried to understand and implement Rêber APO’s ideology. It has evolved on the basis of our democratic, further educated and deepened in ecological and women-liberating paradigms. He has become a jewel with the apoistic will that is the basis for exhibiting practices unique in the world. In our party environment, he has waged the class and gender struggle in a sharp and radical way. He tried to free himself from the personality structure that the system and the fascist Turkish state wanted to create in our society. By analyzing and getting to know himself, he enjoyed meaning and feeling. Our comrade Canfeda, who lived and fought like a dervish, lived up to his name. He steadily increased his pace without stopping; with his devotion to our Chairman, the Şehîds and the fight he constantly progressed and rose from small to great. He armed himself with the ideology of Rêber APO against the special war policy of the system. Our comrade Canfeda has developed into an experienced cadre militant of the guerrillas of democratic modernity in many areas. He became an expert and professional guerrilla through his interest in learning and development. He initially reacted to the invasion operations of the Turkish occupying army against the Medya defense zones on the front line in the Heftanin area. He proved his maturity in numerous actions in which he took part and pioneered many actions that effectively hit the invaders. In Heftanin he was wounded more than once, but he did not turn these injuries into an obstacle for himself. He recovered early and persistently went back to the war front. Our comrade Canfeda, a pioneer cadre, aware of this heavy responsibility that an ordinary participant could not bear, fulfilled his pioneering mission. In the invasion operation at Heftanîn, Bêrîtan and Rüstem did not accept the surrender and jumped off the cliff to avoid being captured by the invaders. Despite being badly wounded, he managed to overcome this because he had great hope and faith in victory. Despite working so hard, he didn’t think his struggle was enough and joined the Hêzên Taybet organization to move further in the reality of Rêber APO and the Şehîds. Comrade Canfeda, who with his attitude and participation was a self-sacrificing fighter for Rêber APO, has acquired a full revolutionary personality. Wherever our Comrade Canfeda participated, he was loved by his hevals, and with his principled attitude, natural participation, morale and enthusiasm, he managed to be a source of joy to those around him. As he marched against the invaders, he dealt them severe blows with his courage and never-ending desire for revenge, becoming a model pioneer fighter. He showed an unprecedented practice in the implementation of the guerrilla of democratic modernity and made an important contribution to the development of struggle in mobile teams, beginning with Heftanîn until his martyrdom. Our comrade Canfeda has the Fedaî attitude of Savaş, Erdals, Delal, Sara and Rûken in the Zîlan lineage, which is our truth, taken over and was a supporter of his Hevals. He devoted himself to Rêber APO, our Şehîds and our struggle, integrating himself into it little by little.
Our comrade Canfeda took part in the resistance in the Martyr Delîl Batı Zap region against the invasion operations launched by the occupying Turkish army to liquidate our movement in the Medya Defense Zones. He took his place in our mobile teams, which intervened first and defeated the invaders. The occupying Turkish army dreamed of gaining victory by occupying the territory in a short time, but with the apoistic will and determination that is the name for the superhuman will of our Fedaî-Hevals, an epic resistance was developed, and the Dreams and goals of the occupiers were thwarted. One of these sacrificial hevals was our comrade Canfeda. Comrade Canfeda and his hevals fought with great will and determination against all the inhumane attacks of the invading Turkish army and did not let the invaders through. He was one of the architects of success in the Şehîd Delîl Batı-Zap region, who routed the invaders who acted immorally even against their own soldiers. Our comrade Canfeda fought sacrificially and heroically in this operation and achieved martyrdom by fighting to his last breath.

PALE KOBANÊ
Our comrade Pale was born into a welatparêzen family in Kobanê, the pride of humanity with its epic resistance to the IS gangs. He knew our struggle from an early age, as the welatparêzen and close relatives of his family took part in the Kurdistan freedom struggle and Şehîd fell. Our comrade Pale, who was just in his teens at the time the freedom revolution was developing in Rojava, witnessed the positive developments in society and was very excited by the atmosphere of freedom. The Turkish occupying state and its apparatus, the IS gangs, saw the Rojava freedom revolution, i.e. the spring of the societies in Rojava, as the end of their colonialist policies and plans and wanted to attack and eliminate the Rojava freedom revolution and the values it created. To this end, they developed attacks on many areas in Rojava, but met historical resistance. In 2014, with combined forces and the full support of the occupying Turkish state, the gangs attacked Kobanê, one of the centers of Rojava’s freedom revolution. The resistance that developed in Kobanê, led by apoist militants with superhuman efforts that will be the subject of epics, has left a deep mark on thousands of Kurdish youth, as well as on our comrade Pale, who personally witnessed this resistance. In this historical resistance he saw many of our Hevals sacrificially fighting and Şehîd fell and he was struck by their sacrificial resistance.
In 2016, when he gained the maturity to fight and protect the gains of our society, he threw himself into the fight in the ranks of the Rojava Freedom Forces without hesitation. Through the training he received, he raised himself to a certain level militarily and ideologically and took his place in the resistance fronts. Our comrade Pale, who always carried the anger in his heart to avenge the massacres perpetrated by IS gangs on our society and to avenge our civilians, took part in the Dêrezor movement. Here he was at the forefront of the fight against the gangs, taking part in many actions and putting the anger in his heart into action. With his self-sacrificing participation he set an example for all his hevals and successfully fulfilled his pioneer duty. Later, as the attack of the invading Turkish state on Afrin developed, he turned his face to Afrin. Our comrade Pale, who continued his current involvement here, immediately adapted to the existing difficult conditions and increased his resistance day by day. The fact that the Turkish occupying state massacred our civilian population when it acted against the freedom fighters, aroused great anger in our comrade Pale and made that anger a reason to fight more. For this reason, he believed that the war against the invaders should be waged in the Fedaî line, and he participated accordingly. Our comrade Pale, who gained great military experience in Afrin after the war, received training in heavy weapons, to bring yourself to the level of a military expert and a competent fighter. Our comrade, who learned how to use many weapons, acquired important tactical knowledge. Thanks to his interest and enjoyment of the training, he returned to Dêrezor territory an experienced fighter and took part in the final action against the IS gangs. During this period of intense war practice, our comrade, who took part in the war with the strength from his training, played an important role in winning the war against the gangs and managed to live up to his Hevals’ expectations as a pioneering fighter. Thanks to his interest and enjoyment of the training, he returned to Dêrezor territory an experienced fighter and took part in the final action against the IS gangs. After the defeat of the IS gangs, our comrade Pale, who wanted to fight against the occupying Turkish state and avenge its attacks on our society, was aware that this is possible by joining the ranks of the guerrillas in the mountains of Kurdistan. He also believed that the memory of his Hevals, with whom he fought alongside and who fell to Şehîd through their sacrificial struggle, can be kept alive by fulfilling their dreams in the guerrilla ranks. For this reason, with great enthusiasm, longing and enthusiasm, he turned to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks. Our comrade Pale, who for a time underwent important training to adapt to life in the mountains, won the trust of his Hevals through his sincere sympathy, sincere Hevaltî and unwavering commitment to the Chairman’s ideology. Therefore, he was involved in extremely important and strategic work for our movement. Our comrade Pale, who has not betrayed the trust placed in him by his self-sacrificing participation in these works, used every moment to improve himself. He managed to rebuild himself moment by moment, benefiting both from the experience of his Hevals and from his concentration. Our comrade, whose resolve and pace of battle increased as his consciousness developed, was deeply affected by the martyrdom of some of the Hevals he worked with. Our comrade Pale who decided to further intensify his struggle to be worthy of the worship of all our Şehîds in their person and the memory of our Şehîds, believed that this would be possible by participating in the activities of Hêzên Taybet and took part in these activities.
