BEHDINAN – In a written statement, HPG-BİM said, “The invading Turkish army continues to cut trees in Bakurê Kurdistan, to carry out nature massacres, to carry out extermination operations against our forces in Bakur, and to bombard our forces in the Medya Defense Zones. “Our forces responded with an effective action against the invaders who launched an operation in the Besta region of Botan, and as a result, 5 invaders were punished,” he said.
HPG-BİM gave the details of the guerrilla actions and the attacks carried out by the Turkish army as follows:
TURKISH ARMY HIDDEN LOSSES
1. Botan Region;
The invading Turkish state has been killing nature in Botan in the last two years by cutting trees and clearing forests. The genocidal Turkish state is also doing a great job against humanity by killing and plundering the geography of Kurdistan. The invaders, who once again cut trees in Girê Gêsin in the Besta region of Botan, massacred nature and launched an operation, were taken under control by our forces. On June 7, coordinated guerrilla action was carried out from three branches with the infiltration tactic against this enemy force. It has been clarified that 5 invaders who were shot at close range with individual weapons were punished, and many invaders were injured. The Turkish army gave only one loss to the press, and concealed the other losses.
This action was carried out in the person of Martyr Leyla Sorxwîn, our valiant commander, to avenge our comrades Bawer, Rênçber, Dilşêr and Şerger, who were martyred in the last enemy attacks in Besta.
WE DID NOT HAVE ANY LOSS
The invaders, who received heavy blows, heavily bombarded the action area with warplanes and helicopters, launched a large operation and bombed them 4 times with warplanes at 01:00 on 8 June. We suffered no casualties in this action and subsequent enemy attacks.
PROHIBITED BOMBS USED
2. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with banned bombs;
- Our positions in the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region were bombed once with banned bombs on 10 June.
3. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 9 June, Gundê Beşîlê and Serê Metîna areas of the Metîna region were bombed twice with warplanes.
- On 10 June, the Girê Cûdî, Girê Amediyê and Girê FM Resistance Areas of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region were bombed 93 times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
- The invading Turkish army attacked our positions in the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Martyr Delîl West Zap region on June 10 and is trying to demolish them with scoops and crushers.
