NEWS CENTER – The KDP’s intelligence agency Parastin and the Turkish intelligence agency MIT work together in South Kurdistan. Defense in South Kurdistan, especially the areas where PDK is dominant, has become the eyes and ears of MIT. He guides, protects, arms and contains him in every way. Until that level, he works against the leaders and revolutionaries of other parts of Kurdistan more than MIT, and puts pressure on them.
Reshad Gelalı, Deputy Head of the Kurdistan National Union (YNK) in Qareçok, spoke to ANF about the activities and presence of MIT in Mosul, Kirkuk and South Kurdistan.
“THE BEST DOCUMENT OF TURKEY’S EXISTENCE IS THE TURKISH BASES IN BEHDINAN AND SIDEKAN”
Gelali stated that Turkey is openly and clearly in the Kurdistan region, and it also has a presence in Mosul on the level of Iraq. The best evidence to confirm these statements is that there are about 28-30 centers of the Turkish government in the region of Behdinan to Sidekan. This also means that Turkey is happy to have the MIT and intelligence department in Erbil again.
‘TRY TO BECOME A SHELTER FOR THEM’
Gelali drew attention to the killers of revolutionaries and patriots fleeing to Erbil and gave the following information: “All the killers of fighters and revolutionaries who are martyred in Sulaimani are going to Erbil.” This means that Erbil has become a shelter for them. The hiding of the Turkish MIT in Erbil is a bad effect on the national work to be done in the region for the future. In my opinion, it will cause great damage to both the future and the honor of the Kurds.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kurdistan National Union (YNK) in Qareçok, Reshad Gelali, continued: “After the independence process of Iraq, especially in recent years, the agreements between Sine-PDK and Turkey have not been documented. As a result of this agreement, the MİT movement in Mosul is also related to this movement of Turkey until the recent ISIS movement in Mosul. Turkey’s preoccupation with ISIS is the most important document when the Governorate of Turkey was under the control of ISIS, they were freed without any harm. Meaning, both the Sune side are part of the Turkish government, besides this agreement, the role of MIT in the Sune areas will go further. I believe that their movement in Kirkuk and Mosul has increased more than before.
“THE EXISTENCE OF THE MIT IN KIRKUK, MOSUL, HEWLER AND BEHDINAN…”
The MIT movement in such a broad way on the level of Kirkuk, Mosul and again Erbil and Behdinan and the agreement of these forces to cause revolutionary damage. There is no doubt that with all their material and spiritual possibilities, they can do it to the extent that they can; they help MIT to harm the revolutionaries. I want to say something else; supporting the killing of revolutionaries in Erbil, this is a part of the game played on the level of the Kurdistan region, between MİT and the authorities in the border areas.
“YNK WILL NOT BE A PART OF MYTH GAMES AND ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION THAT CAUSES REVOLUTIONARY MARTYRDOM”
Another point, YNK does not compromise on its line, in order to be a part of the martyrdom of the revolutionaries. Because YNK has become a part of the defense of the national line in the past years. YNK itself is built on that principle. YNK will never be a part of MIT’s games and any other institution will be the cause of the martyrdom of the revolutionaries of the East. YNK has always condemned the martyrdom attacks of the revolutionaries at the borders of the region.
If we want to strengthen the process of democracy in the Kurdistan region, we should try to strengthen the role and position of YNK in the process of democracy. The weakening of the YNK’s role and position in the democratic process is causing great damage to the democratic process. Today, the attacks on the revolutionaries of Rojava, North and East Kurdistan are the result of the fact that the role and mission of YNK for democracy has been reduced. In this matter, the invaders have a role to play, and they do this in cooperation with the local forces. In my opinion, if the revolutionaries and freedom fighters want to move peacefully, the role and position of YNK should be returned as before, all efforts should be made to strengthen the role of YNK. The role of the KDP should be weakened, it imposes the authority on the Kurdistan region, all sides should try to return to a real process of respecting the freedom and rights of people, whether from the North, Rojava and East came. These people have come to their home, this place is a part of their motherland. They have the right to live here freely, express their wishes and rights. We must all be partners to protect this region. If we want to find a solution, we must sit at the dialogue table.”
On the other hand, according to the website lekolin.org, the KDP defines Erbil as its stronghold and the capital of South Kurdistan, almost in every district, village and important centers for the implementation of MIT and the killing of Kurdish revolutionaries and patriots, both domestic and what other parts are involved in the movement.
MATCH POINTS!
According to the information received from reliable sources, an agreement was recently signed between PDK and MIT for a strong relationship. New MIT centers will be built in places where there is no KDP, from its cost to implementation and protection will be on the KDP. In this context, MİT has established new locations in Mesif and Enkawa in the name of some Kurdish factories, which consist of 20-25 people. According to information, all these agreements were made secretly in the military context. Some of the points that Lekolin.org received and shared are as follows:
- The Turkish soldiers in the areas under the control of the KDP will be given material and moral support.
- Turkey’s special envoys will be placed in Dilmen under the protection of the KDP.
- As long as the Turkish soldiers are at the borders of Iraq, they will be in cooperation with the KDP.
- PKK members will be identified thanks to local spies.
- They will be specially trained to help the Turkish forces, this force will be led by Barzani’s son Mela Mustafa.
- Meetings will be held, Mullah Mustafa will also participate, his decisions will not be discussed, no one will interfere.
- There will be an operation against the PKK, Zêrevan’s special forces will also be involved.
- Zerevan and Turkish forces will jointly occupy the areas not in the hands of the PKK, new centers will be built for the Turkish forces in these areas.
- Monitoring, tracking and information about the PKK points will be sent to the necessary places, and will be used by Israeli reconnaissance planes to find new points and bomb them.

“THE MIT PRESENCE IN KIRKUK”
Last year, a document was released and the presence of MIT in Kirkuk was confirmed, and according to this document, which was prepared by the Iraqi Intelligence Service in Kirkuk and was shared by anti-national networks about Hashdi Shabi, this information was given. : “The document dated June 28, 2022, last week, 10 vehicles, 5 of them Toyota, 4 Taho, and 1 Ram, which had MIT addresses, were sent from Erbil to They went to Kirkuk.”
MIT TRAINS TURKMEN-BASED GANG GROUPS AND USES IT FOR INTELLIGENCE
In 2018, the Kurdish parliamentarian of Kirkuk of the Iraqi Parliament, Siwan Dawidi, shared the following information with ANF regarding the creation and organization of these gangs by the Turkish state: “Before these forces were established, through MIT an official of the Turkmen Front, known as Ershad Sali, who is located in the Yaçi district of Kirkuk, was called. MIT AND PROTECTION ASSASSINS!
- With the strengthening of the MIT intelligence networks and the cooperation of the Defense, we see that especially in Sulaimani and its surroundings, terrorist attacks on patriots and revolutionaries have increased a lot.
- First of all, on September 16, 2021, a citizen named Farhad Bariş Kondû, who is from North Kurdistan, was targeted in Suleimaniye and was seriously injured.
- On September 17, 2021, a member of the Martyrs’ Families Committee of the PKK, Yasîn Bülüt, nicknamed Şukri Sarhed, was the target of an attack by members of the MIT of the occupying Turkish state and was martyred in the city of Silemani.
- Respectively, on the night of May 17, 2022, the patriot from North Kurdistan and the owner of the restaurant Deniz Mihemed Zeki Çelebi was shot in the Bekhtiyari neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah, he died on May 18 in the Shar hospital of Sulaymaniyah. From that day until today, no information has been shared about this incident and the killers.
- Suheyl Khurshid Aziz (Teacher Şemal) was murdered by the agents and servants of the Turkish state on August 28, 2022.
- Also in Bekhtiyari neighborhood of Suleimani on October 4, 2022, the editor of the Gynecology magazine and member of the Gynecology Research Center, woman activist and academic Nagîhan Akarsel was martyred.
- Huseyin Tureli was murdered in the city of Duhok in South Kurdistan on April 17, 2023 as a result of an armed attack. There was an armed attack against Tureli before and he was injured.
- The last member of the Mesopotamian Workers’ Association, Hüseyin Arasan, was attacked with a gun on June 9, 2023, in front of the association’s building, and died in the hospital on June 10.
PROBLEMS IN SULEIMANI AND MURDERS ATTEMPT
In all of these events that happened in Sulaimani, we can see how strong the relationship between Defense and MIT is and how organized it is. Also, the assassins in Suleimani and the killers then flee to Erbil and are found and protected in the MIT and Defense centers. Killing the Editor of the Genealogy Journal and Member of the Genealogy Research Center Nagîhan Akarsel fled to Erbil after the act and was arrested by the security forces at the last checkpoint of Koy and Erbil.
The Kurdistan Regional Government has not given any information on the general events and these movements, it has remained deaf, blind and dumb. Although more than ten days have passed since the murder of Huseyin Arasan, neither the security nor any political authority of South Kurdistan has shared any information. This also increases people’s doubts about such actions.
