NEWS CENTER – YPS-YPS JIN Coordination made a written statement on the 7th anniversary of the martyrdom of Zeryan Deniz, who was martyred during the self-government resistance.
“Our people, whose freedom, whose existence is ignored, has been taken away, has been waging a freedom war for more than 50 years under the leadership of Leader Apo. This war is a war to protect its existence and to ensure its freedom. Since the day it was founded, the Turkish fascist state has been trying to intimidate our people with all kinds of denial, destruction and massacre policies with the laws of deportation, resettlement and detention. The denial policy, which has been going on for years, entered a new concept with the kneeling plan they prepared in 2014. Within the framework of this concept, the AKP-MHP fascist regime began to attack Kurdistan with an unprecedented barbarity. The Turkish state, which made plans to bring the Kurdish people and the freedom movement to its knees, was defeated by the resistance of the Zeryans and Çiyagers, and their plans to bring them down were foiled.
The historical self-government resistance emerged with a magnificent resistance by hundreds of valiant Kurdistan heroes in 2014-2015, with a stance against the Kurdish existence and identity that was wanted to be destroyed. Our patriotic and combative people, women, young and old, in resistance in Cizre, Sur, Nusaybin, Şırnak, Hezex and Gever, showed their loyalty to their values with their stance against fascism. The war of a handful of brave Kurdish youth against the Turkish state equipped with high technology with their bare but self-sacrificing hearts; it almost gave the Turkish state a Syndrome. The resistance exhibited by the legendary commanders of history also revealed the popular leaders. Zeryan, Çiyager, Nucan, Axin, Xebatkar, Berfin, Mehmet Tunç, Asya and many of our resistance martyrs who sacrificed in the self-government resistance are in Şırnak, Cizre, Sur, In Nusaybin, Hezex and Gever, they became the pioneers of meeting with the people in many cities of Kurdistan, creating a syndrome in the enemy and a monument of resistance. Commander Zeryan Deniz Amed was one of the countless heroes of this magnificent resistance, which has written her name in history with golden letters.
Comrade Zeryan, was in the command of the Şırnak YPS during the self-government resistance process, where a heroic story is written on each street, has taken a great place in the hearts of the people of Şırnak and the resistance fighters with his stance, fighting spirit and comradeship. Commander Zeryan hit the enemy at every opportunity with her creative war tactics, turning every position into a fortress until his last breath. It has been a light to everyone with its pioneering stance in the resistance process. With the sound of their zılgıts, the power to resist became a nightmare for the enemy. Comrade Zeryan left a great legacy of resistance to our day with her Apoist self-defense stance. She established a throne in the hearts of his comrades and people with his determined and humble stance both in his life and on the battlefield. She played a leading role in the ideology of women’s liberation. How the Kurdish woman loves her country, her land, she showed us how the commitment to freedom should be with his resistance. It became the name of the stance, which is to resist in Zeryan language. The Zeryan resistance spirit became Zapta Melsa, Avzem, Avaşin de Arin, Nuda. By becoming Sarali in Mersin, she ensured that the line of victory, which became Ruken, spread all over Kurdistan.
Comrade Zeryan, who played a major role in the establishment of YPS JIN and the emergence of the spirit of self-defense resistance, paved the way for victory to his successors. As her comrades, it is our biggest promise to follow in her footsteps and lead the struggle to victory. As YPS-YPS JIN coordination, we commemorate with respect, love and gratitude on the 7th year of her martyrdom, friend Zeryan Deniz, the commander of the Apoist stance, determination, determination and consciousness. We reiterate our promise that we will be the followers of all martyrs of self-government resistance, especially Zeryan Deniz, and we will take their revenge.”
