QAMIŞLO – Mass participation was achieved from many surrounding regions to the rally held in Qamişlo. Tens of thousands of people gathered at the March 12 Martyrs Stadium for the rally held to ensure the freedom of Leader Apo and to show solidarity with the Green Left Party regarding the May 14 elections.
At the rally, Democratic Union Party (PYD) Co-Chair Asya Abdullah and Cizre Region Democratic Autonomous Administration Executive Council Co-chairman Hikmet Hebîb are expected to make speeches on behalf of the Kurdish and Arab people.
Koma Cûdî, artists Danîş Botan and Sumeye Mihemed will also take the stage at the rally.
