BASEL – The resistance of the people of the camp has been going on for 8 days without a break. To spread and strengthen this resistance, internationalist held an action in Basel and share the following statement:
“The struggle for freedom in Rojava and Palestine goes on and even if the media in the West is silent, we must not forget our comrades!
During the elections in Turkey there are more attacks on the revolution. Rojava was attacked 163 times by the Turkish fascist regime last month. In addition, the Kurdish refugee camp Mexmur is besieged by the Iraqi army. So far, the local population has been successfully resisting. Even in Palestine, where the Nakba recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, the expulsion is still going on. The ( colonial forces of Israel blow up Palestinian homes, attack refugee camps and bomb the Gaza Strip. While this displaces families and even murders children, Israeli settlers continue to build illegal settlements on Palestinian land.
So let’s not forget the revolution in Rojava and the resistance in Palestine!”
