MINBIC- Two families in Minbić recruited their children for freedom struggle. A ceremony was held for the young people who joined the freedom struggle, attended by dozens of youth and young women carrying the flags of the PKK and Rêber APOs. Young women and youth from Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan welcomed the families and gave a speech. Ahmet, a member of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger, gave a speech on behalf of the youth. Ahmed said:
“All the people of Minbiç know and see the fight of Rêber APO in Imrali, which has been going on for 25 years. Today, two of our families have decided to involve their children in the fight for freedom and want their children to be honored in the mountains of freedom and to fight on the front lines of the resistance. Revolutionary mothers and fathers want a free country.”
I DEDICATE MY CHILD TO RÊBER APO
Then Father Mihemed gave a speech: “Our revolutionary society of Minbic is the cadres of PKK who have given us everything with a miracle and pride. ‘Cause we’ve seen all the suffering We have seen everything that the traitors to our society have done in Minbic. But the freedom movement saved us from oppression and coercion. That’s why I dedicate my child to Rêber APO”.
IF WE DON’T FIGHT, NO ONE WILL
Mihemed, joining the ranks of freedom: “If we don’t fight, nobody will fight for us. For my country, for my honor, for my homeland, for all young people affected by this particular war against our society, I join the ranks of the freedom movement.”
