“Our struggle for freedom grows with each passing day and the historical resistance developed to ensure the freedom of our people is achieved at great cost. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, who devoted himself to the freedom of our people, never hesitated to pay these prices and continues to continue its struggle on the line of self-sacrifice today. Our esteemed comrades, who are the most valiant sons of our people, are increasing our Party’s legacy of resistance by insisting on fighting until the last breath against all attacks of the enemy, and fulfilling the requirements of loyalty to the martyrs. Our comrades Harun, Bager, Dijwar and Egîd were martyred in the enemy attacks that took place in keeping with the PKK’s tradition of resistance.
We express our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially their precious families, who have fulfilled their patriotic duty completely by giving such heroic children to the freedom struggle of our people, and reiterate our promise to bring the epic struggle in the line of martyrs to victory.

HARUN TOLHILDAN
Our comrade Harun was born in the village of Reşîne in the Dihê district of Sêrt. He was brought up with the ancient patriotic values of the Botan people and the culture of loyalty to the land and identity of his noble family. The village of Reşîne, where our comrade Harun’s family is located; The colonialist, genocidal Turkish state tried to make it a village guard and to be put in a position against the Kurdish people and the freedom struggle. Even though a part of the village of Reşîne was tricked by the enemy, the laboring and honorable family of Comrade Harun did not accept this situation and migrated to Dihê. Our comrade Harun has grown up as a hardworking and talented young man. He was interested in theatre, music and literature and gained a rich personality thanks to his talents in this field. Our comrade Harun, who is a hardworking student in his school life, He was very impressed by his brother’s joining the guerrilla ranks in 2009 and took a great interest in the freedom struggle. Comrade Harun, who read and researched and questioned the current system, sought ways to become revolutionary and struggle, and took part in revolutionary patriotic youth work even in high school years. Comrade Harun, who entered the university environment by winning the department of economic sciences at Malatya University, maintained his patriotic stance here as well. Comrade Harun, an enlightened and conscious young man, treated the university environment as a school for preparation for the revolution, developed himself, gathered patriotic youth around him with his charm, and told them about the struggle for freedom like an apostle.
Comrade Harun and his friends rushed towards the holy resistance that said stop to this, while ISIS and Turkish fascism wanted to liquidate the hope of a free future by putting the Kurdish people through genocide in Kobanê. By living the spirit of the period most sincerely, feeling the pain of his people, he showed the courage to stand against gangs and genocidalism. As a valiant son of the people of Botan, he has determined it as his duty to be the answer wherever the freedom struggle of his people requires. Comrade Harun has earned the love and respect of his comrades in every environment he is in, with his high courage, determined personality, sympathetic character, hard work and sincere companionship. It was based on deepening in the ideological field as well as its abilities and efforts in military studies, and tried to deepen in the Apoist line. It has never dealt with the struggle for revolution as one-dimensional, He sincerely believed that the self-sacrificing revolutionaries could do the best of everything, and he made it a reality by trying to realize it in his own person. He was educated at the Martyr Rûbar Qamişlo Academy in 2016, took command at the Rojava Freedom Forces, and prepared himself for his new term duties. Comrade Harun, who is a candidate to be a complete revolutionary, attracted the attention of his friends and took part in strategically important military works with his reassuring stance. He participated in the works with great devotion and self-sacrifice in order to respond to the confidence and expectations placed in him. It has never withdrawn itself in any work area, and has responded to the necessities of the moment and space. Comrade Harun, who worked among our Arab people for a while, Since he was a revolutionary who brought the Democratic Nation Paradigm of Leader Apo into his consciousness and heart, he learned and communicated early in Arabic, the language of our Arab people. He did not remain unfamiliar with the reality of the people he was struggling with, he participated as a revolutionary who lived the reality of the people in his heart, and with this stance, he won the love of the Arab youth and our Arab people.
Comrade Harun stated that the PKK made him get to know him and brought him together with its essence. That’s why he always felt indebted to Leader Apo and the PKK’s holy cause of freedom. From the day he met Comrade Harun, his biggest dream was to one day become a guerrilla in the mountains of Kurdistan. Although he constantly postponed this dream on the basis of our people’s struggle for freedom and emerging needs, he moved to Medya Defense Zones in 2018 as a result of his own insistence and suggestion and started guerrilla activities. Comrade Harun, who attained indescribable joy and happiness after coming to the mountain and guerrilla life, tried his best for the freedom struggle of our people. It was based on participation without hesitation and carefree, and tried to fulfill every task assigned to it with a high sense of responsibility.
Comrade Harun was martyred with a group of his comrades on April 26, 2019, while he was on duty as a bright and promising Apoist militant of our Movement. Our comrade Harun’s concise personality, industriousness, complete revolutionism, youthful dynamism, determined stance and firm belief in victory will always guide us, our comrades, and will be a monument of militancy that should be taken as an example to all Kurdish and Arab youth, especially the youth of Botan.
BAGER WAN
Our comrade Bager was born in a patriotic family in Qelqelî, one of the important resistance areas of Wan, who duly fulfilled his patriotic duties with his honorable stance that embraced the PKK and our party’s hundreds of guerrillas that he contributed to our freedom struggle. Our comrade Bager, who was born and raised in a natural village environment, also acquired his personality formation here. Therefore, despite all the false appeal of the capitalist system, it did not adapt to the system and managed to preserve its natural personality traits. Our comrade Bager, who saw the reality of the enemy in Kurdistan at the boarding school he had to go to due to the imposition of his family, realized early on that this was a center of assimilation and genocide, and insisted on getting out of here. He took the necessary attitude, especially by making him aware that the teachers in this boarding school were specially selected to assimilate Kurdish children. Our comrade Bager immigrated to the center of Wan with his family for some reasons. Here, too, he worked in many jobs to contribute to the livelihood of his family, and he was shown as an example with his working personality. Comrade Bager also stayed in Bashure Kurdistan for a while, as some of his family moved to Bashure Kurdistan due to enemy pressure. Here, he both had the opportunity to get to know our Party closely and witnessed that the representatives of the collaborative line spread the capitalist lifestyle in Kurdistan, which has nothing to do with Kurdish culture. Due to these realities he saw, he experienced contradictions and at the same time started to search for certain things. Our comrade, who later returned to Wan, entered into an active struggle here and was involved in youth work. He successfully participated in these studies and became a pioneer in a short time. However, he thought that a more radical struggle could be held to account for the massacres and oppression that the genocidal Turkish state carried out against our people, and decided to join the guerrilla ranks on this basis.
Our comrade Bager, who joined the guerrilla ranks from the Wan area in 2014, passed through many guerrilla areas in Bakurê Kurdistan and reached the Medya Defense Areas. Our comrade, who witnessed the many beauties of the Kurdistan geography along the way, could not hide his admiration for this magnificent geography, he felt that he was reborn in every step he took and every breath he breathed. Our comrade Bager, who received his first training in the guerrilla, has gained a great deal of knowledge both in theory and in life. Stating that what he learned in the guerrilla ranks in 2 months was more than what he learned in the rest of his life, our comrade experienced everything he learned by transferring it to life. Our comrade, who is constantly trying to improve himself in the military and ideological sense, has always been ready for the most difficult missions. Our comrade, who moved to the Metîna area after his education, stayed in many areas from Girê Hakkari to Stûnê area. It has come to the forefront with its hardworking, altruistic and honest participation in every field it takes place; With these characteristics, he became a militant that all his comrades took as an example. Our comrade, who spends every moment thinking about the actions he will take against the enemy, insistently wanted to take part in the actions against the attacks of the invading Turkish army against the Metina area. Our comrade, who was successful in this insistence, was seriously injured in an action in which heavy blows were dealt to the enemy. Despite being injured in many places, he clings to life again with an Apoist will and entered a long-term treatment process. During this treatment process, he did not refrain from reading and researching. At the same time, he looked forward to the day when he would return to the mountains by concentrating on the mountains to strengthen his bond with the Kurdistan mountains. The sacred lands of Botan, where the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla started our historical resistance against the colonialists, has always come to the fore with its honorable stance that does not allow the occupation and the occupier. Our Botan people, who combine their ancient resistance characteristics with the victory line of the Apoist philosophy, have brought up generations that grew up in the tradition of struggle created by the PKK. Our comrade Dijwar, who was born in Sirnex, Cizîr, where the Serhildan tradition first developed and who steered the developing resistance in Kurdistan, Kurdistan has grown by assimilating the invincible tradition created by the Freedom Struggle and knowing our struggle closely within the strong social ties of the patriotic Kichi tribe. Participation in the ranks of the struggle and martyrdom from his close circle and family enabled our comrade Dijwar to gain patriotic consciousness early. Witnessing the dirty war policies implemented by the colonial Turkish state and its army, and the oppression and atrocities it has developed against our people, our comrade’s anti-system stance has deepened and he has developed a determination to fight in the ranks of the PKK.
Our comrade, who started to get to know the Rêber Apo philosophy and our struggle more closely by being involved in youth work, has made a great effort to raise awareness of the Kurdish youth and to include them in the resistance. Our comrade, who dealt many blows to the colonialist Turkish state with his active and activist personality, was forced into military service in 2010 by the colonialists. Our comrade Dijwar, who never lost his will and will to be in the struggle, was in resistance in every environment he was in. Our comrade, who was detained many times by the invaders, was arrested in 2013. Our comrade Dijwar, who stayed in the enemy dungeons for about two years, turned the dungeon area into a training ground with his comrades and made it a ground for self-development. Our comrade Dijwar, who struggled at every moment of his life and felt great anger against the attacks of the invaders, organized his anger and turned it into a strong struggle ground. Our comrade, who had no difficulty in adapting to the holy guerrilla life with his hardworking and sincere personality, moved to Heftanîn field after completing his basic education and started his first guerrilla practice. EGID BARGIRAN
Our city of Wan, which responded to the enemy’s policies by insisting on its honorable resistance and patriotic identity against the genocidal policies of the invading and colonial Turkish state, has become an important resistance area in our Serhed region. Maintaining this stance under all circumstances, our Wan people played an important role in the uninterrupted continuation of our struggle by recruiting thousands of their most valiant sons into the ranks of the guerrilla.
Our comrade Egîd, who is an honorable son of such a brave people who continues their struggle for freedom from an area where patriotic and resistance tradition is alive, was born in Bêgirî district. Participation in the guerrilla ranks and martyrdoms from his close circle enabled our comrade Egîd to recognize our struggle from an early age. Our comrade Egîd, who saw the reality of the enemy in the first year of primary school, refused to sing the fascist anthems that were forced to be taught to him. Our comrade, who made his first rebellion against his fascist teacher, will grow this rebel spirit after this process and will become the freedom fighter of our people. Our comrade, who showed his attitude towards the enemy reality he saw at school by quitting school, thus made one of the most honorable and correct decisions of his life. Born and raised in a poor family, our comrade Egîd was introduced to the concept of labor early. Because of this, he has acquired a mature personality. At an early age, he had to go to the metropolises of Turkey to contribute to the livelihood of his family. However, his natural personality, which was not infected with the system, could not adapt to the metropolitan life and he returned to Kurdistan as if he had escaped. Our comrade, who had to go to the metropolises again due to compelling reasons, had to stay there for a while, but he could not adapt to the life in which materialism and interest enslaved people. Our comrade, who started to get to know our Party better in this process, took part in youth work for a while. Our comrade Egîd was deeply affected by the fact that many of his friends took their places in the resistance ranks and the early martyrdom of some of his friends during the processes in which ISIS gangs intensified their attacks on our people. Our comrade, who decided that he should join the ranks of the struggle in order to remain loyal to the memory of his martyred friends, to realize their dreams and to defend our people, entered the Rojava area in 2015 and took his place in the ranks of the Rojava Freedom Revolution.
With the training he received here, he deepened himself in the military sense and became a professional revolutionary. He participated in many critical operations against ISIS gangs in the Rojava area, and set an example and pioneered for all his comrades with his courage, determination and boldness in these operations. He became a competent commander with the experience he gained during the war. Our comrade, who has a share in the successes achieved against ISIS gangs in the Rojava area, has determined to join the guerrilla ranks, which was his childhood dream, as one of his biggest goals, and he insisted on this.
The uninterrupted attacks of the genocidal Turkish state, developed in 2015 to eliminate our people in the person of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, were decisive in the arrival of our comrade Egîd to the mountains of Kurdistan. Our comrade Egîd, who felt that he was born again after he came to the mountains of Kurdistan, which he longed for, had the opportunity to reconsider himself with the first trainings he received here. He has subjected his personality to analysis in many aspects, he has been purified from the dirt of the system and has embraced the features of Democratic Modernity. He wanted to deepen with enthusiasm and excitement in the philosophy of Leadership and to make sense of his life with the Leadership. For this, he has had a unique effort and effort.
