Our comrades Rezan and Azad, who took part in the 2022 resistance, stood against the invasion attacks of the colonialist genocidal Turkish state, fought with great courage without hesitation and played their historical roles, died in the enemy attacks. Our comrades Rêzan and Azad, who joined the ranks of the PKK from Erzirom and Tuzxurmatu, became the symbols of strong patriotic awareness and the national liberation struggle, and became martyrs through self-sacrificing struggle, became the true heroes of our people. We extend our condolences to the esteemed families of our comrades and to all patriotic people of Kurdistan. Our comrade Rêzan was born in a patriotic family in the Qereyazî district of Erzirom. The family of our comrade Rêzan, who lives in an area in Kurdistan where enemy pressure is most intense, has never bowed down to these pressures and tortures; managed to preserve their dignity and patriotic identity. The valuable family of our comrade Rêzan, who had to leave their homeland due to the fact that they are exposed to enemy oppression at every moment and that these oppressions and tortures increase day by day, migrated to the metropolises of Turkey. But here, too, he preserved the awareness of Kurdishness and never forgot the culture and geography they belonged to. Our comrade Rêzan, who was born and raised in such a valuable family, undoubtedly took on the patriotic characteristics of his family and environment. Our comrade, who knew the importance of the guerrilla for our people from his childhood, dreamed of becoming a guerrilla. He enlarged this dream with himself and did not hesitate to realize this dream when the time came. Especially after moving to Istanbul, he got rid of the contradictions he experienced, and on the other hand, he had the opportunity to see the reality of the enemy more closely. Our comrade, who was involved in youth work during the periods when his searches were intense, carried out work in this field for a while. The fact that his close relatives joined the guerrilla ranks deeply affected our comrade Rêzan, therefore he thought that he should join the guerrilla ranks as soon as possible and fulfill his childhood dream and fulfill his responsibilities towards our people. On this basis, he turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan in 2018 and joined the guerrilla ranks. Especially after moving to Istanbul, he got rid of the contradictions he experienced, and on the other hand, he had the opportunity to see the reality of the enemy more closely. Our comrade, who was involved in youth work during the periods when his searches were intense, carried out work in this field for a while.
After joining the guerrilla ranks, he was first involved in Komalên Ciwan’s work. With the training he received here, he got to know the mountain and guerrilla life and joined life with great excitement, enthusiasm and enthusiasm. He spent every moment educating himself, and had a great effort and effort to acquire Apoist militant characteristics. He also took part in the infrastructure works for the tunnel wars, which are one of the important pillars of our war today. He worked non-stop with the belief in the success of tunnel wars, and succeeded to set an example for all his comrades with his laboring and self-sacrificing characteristics. Expressing this process as the most meaningful processes of his life with his concentrations, our comrade stated that every Kurdish youth should live this meaningful life. Our comrade Rêzan, who constantly makes suggestions due to his curiosity and desire for the military field, achieving this goal, he moved to the military field. Our comrade Rêzan, who never accepted an ordinary participation for himself, constantly strived to be a competent guerrilla and trained himself. He had a unique effort to reach a professional level, especially in the new era guerrilla. For this purpose, he has been involved in military specialization trainings, and through the training he has learned, he has learned that military service will not only consist of learning technical information, but must have a mature structure in terms of ideology and personality. To this end, he deepened his concentration and succeeded in becoming a leading militant and a promising commander-in-chief of the new era. He wanted to move to the areas where the war was the hottest, as he joined the guerrilla ranks in a time when the war was intense. He especially wanted to go to Bakure Kurdistan to deal heavy blows to the enemy and avenge our people. For this reason, it has focused on the smallest detail and has been determined and determined to make important breakthroughs in Bakure Kurdistan.
However, when the invading Turkish state’s attacks on Medya Defense Zones began, it took part in the historical resistance that developed. He dealt a blow to the invaders at every opportunity he could find, and led his comrades with his high offensive spirit. Again, on December 10, 2022, when the enemy attacks were intense, he carried out an attack against the enemy with a group of his comrades and played an important role in punishing many invaders in this action. Our comrade Rêzan, who managed to represent the Apoist militant features in his personality with the simplicity of his comradeship, humble approach and labor, proved once again the invincibility of our party PKK until his last breath by fighting selflessly during this action.

Our comrade Azad was born in Tuzxurmatu, Bashure Kurdistan, in a patriotic family. Since our comrade Azad was born in a family that is very attached to the Kurdish tradition and culture, he grew up with this rich culture and was not affected by the cultural genocide policies of the colonial powers. However, the fact that the status of the area he lived in was always controversial, that different powers had plans on these areas, and that there were constant conflicts caused conflicts in our comrade Azad. When he started to make sense of the contradictions he lived in, he encountered the Kurdish reality and realized that the Kurdish problem was not only related to the uncertainty in the areas he lived in. Therefore, new contradictions have been added to the existing contradictions, and more questions to be answered have increased. Our comrade, who is a seeker of a meaningful life, spent his time focusing on finding answers to these questions and doing research. In these researches, our party encountered the reality of the PKK and the Leadership. Especially under the leadership of our Party, the epic resistances against ISIS gangs in many areas from Bashure Kurdistan to Rojavay Kurdistan and against the invaders throughout Kurdistan affected our comrade Azad. Again in this process, the fact that some forces claiming to protect the gains of our people did not show resistance in the face of the attacks against our people, which brought our comrade Azad closer to our party PKK. While our Comrade Azad was in the process of searching and questioning, our Party recognized Comrade Şükrü Serhat, the most veteran of the PKK and the cadre of decades, because of his personality, behavior, approach to people, equipped with the PKK, Comrade Şükrü, He was very impressed by the fact that he worked with great effort and struggled with a cardigan and a bite. In the person of Comrade Şükrü, he saw and recognized the PKK concretely and took it as an example. As an honorable and patriotic Kurdish youth, he thought that he too should protect the achievements of our people and ensure the freedom of our people, which has been a dream for hundreds of years. Deciding that this would only be possible by joining the PKK ranks, our comrade Azad turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks.
Our comrade Azad, who opened his eyes to a new life by joining the guerrilla ranks, had no difficulty in adapting to guerrilla and mountain life thanks to his concise personality. Our comrade, who believes that he must train himself at all times in order to achieve his great goals, approached the trainings with this awareness, and succeeded in immediately understanding everything he was taught and putting it into practice. He was influenced by our party’s comradely relations, egalitarian and libertarian features. For this reason, he embraced the life of the Party with all his arms, and became the owner of a relentless struggle to become an Apoist pioneer militant. From the very first days of his guerrilla life, he gained the respect and love of his comrades with his honest participation, self-sacrificing and hardworking personality.
