BEHDINAN – Cihan Deniz, one of the HPG commanders, emphasized that thousands of Haki Karer were born as a result of Haki Karer’s labor in the lands of Kurdistan.
Speaking to ANF, one of the HPG commanders, Cihan Deniz, talked about Haki Karer on the occasion of his martyrdom anniversary. Deniz said, “May is the month of martyrs. On this occasion, I respectfully commemorate all the martyrs of Kurdistan in the person of our comrades who died heroically in May.
Comrade Haki played a major role in the establishment of the PKK. Comrade Haki Karer is the one who created the organizational culture and morality after Leader Apo. As Leader Apo said, Haki and Kemal are comrades who created the PKK. Comrade Haki was the first to believe in Leader Apo, and he took his place with the Leader until his last breath. As a Turk, he bravely stood up for the freedom cause of Kurdistan. The first ideological group in Ankara was formed in the person of Comrade Haki and Kemal. After the ideological group was established, Comrade Haki was the first to propose himself for the popular organization of Kurdistan. Although he did not know Kurdish, he carried out his studies successfully and with great self-confidence. Thousands of Haki Karer were born as a result of the efforts of Comrade Haki Karer in the lands of Kurdistan.”
IT WAS ALSO IDEOLOGICALLY COMPLEMENTARY
Stating that Haki Karer worked in all kinds of jobs, gave all the money he earned to the organization, and mobilized all his opportunities for a free revolution, Deniz continued: “When we look at the reality of the PKK, it reminds us of the reality of Comrade Haki, because it also reminds us of the PKK as the party of workers and toilers. being looked after. This happened thanks to Comrade Haki. Comrade Haki was not limited to this alone. Ideologically, he complemented Leader Apo. Comrade Haki was developing the party with his tactical leadership. He played an influential role in the public. The enthusiasm for freedom was developing in the places where he worked. Your comrade Haki was sociable in military matters; He developed many actions against the fascists and dealt great blows to the fascists. While doing these actions, he was carrying out his actions without taking any instructions from Leader Apo, and then he would come and give his full report to Leader Apo.
FIGHTING WITH THE SPIRIT OF RESISTANCE
Stating that one of the reasons for the establishment of the PKK was to claim the martyrdom of Haki Karer, Deniz said: “The PKK has all the characteristics of Comrade Haki. It reflects its creative and resistance stance in the PKK. The PKK has been resisting with these features for 47 years. In the resistance positions of Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna, the struggle is carried out with the spirit of resistance of Comrade Haki. The friends who prepare the tunnel wars work and fight with the spirit of Comrade Haki. His faith and passion for revolution lives on in our comrades who are fighting in the tunnels today. We promise to follow in the footsteps of Comrade Haki.”
