BEHDINAN – HPG-BİM stated in a written statement that the military convoy that went into the operation on 30 April was hit, a hedgehog-type vehicle was destroyed and 13 invaders were punished. In the statement, the details of the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army and the resulting conflicts were given as follows:
2. Amed area;
- The invading Turkish army has been trying to keep a stronghold and take position in the Martyr Serxwebûn area in Amed’s Licê district since the winter period. At the same time, it started the construction of outposts in Girê Boxaza Cuma, Gundê Sîverekê, Gundê Madrasa and Girê Mêrgê areas. Along with these activities, the invading Turkish army has been carrying out offensive operations and ambush activities in the region in the last 6 months without interruption.
- Our forces stopped the military convoy, which started an operation in the same area at 20:15 on April 30, with sabotage tactics between Gundê Mêrgê and Gundê Sîverekê. As a result, 1 hedgehog type vehicle was destroyed and 13 occupants were punished. Operations in the area continued until 5 May and were withdrawn without result.
- The invading Turkish army launched an operation in the same area on May 10, and our comrades Dilgeş Zagros and Bawer Korkmaz were martyred in the enemy attacks.
2. Zap area;
- Our forces responded to the invaders who attacked the Girê FM Resistance Area at 14:20 on May 16 to defend themselves.
4. Metina area;
- Our forces responded to the invaders who attacked the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area at 14:20 on May 18 to defend themselves.
5. Attacks by the invading Turkish army;
- On May 17, Girê Bahar, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas, Sêgirê village and Deşta Kafya area of Garê were bombed 22 times with warplanes.
- On 16, 17 and 18 May, our resistance positions in Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas, Xakurkê’s Girê Martyr Heqî, Girê Martyr Kamuran, Girê Şehîd Hêmin, Çilûçar region and Lolan water, and in Sîda 37 times howitzer, tank and bombarded with heavy weapons.
- On May 17, the surroundings of Girê Mozelan, Koordine, Stûna, Serzêrê and Tirvaniş village of Metîna were bombed 7 times with attack helicopters.”
