NEWS CENTER – Justice campaing launched in front of the Urfa Courthouse on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, whose wife and two sons were murdered by the bodyguard and relatives of AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and his son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attacks in the Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha, on 14 June 2018. The vigil continues on the 782nd day of the action.
Emine Şenyaşar, who came to the Urfa Courthouse, started the vigil in front of the banner that read “Justice for the Şenyaşar family”. Ferit Şenyaşar could not participate in the protest because he participated in the election campaign.
Former Mayor of Geneva Rêmy Pagani, Angélique Schmidt from the French İnsoumise Party and journalist Rachad Armanios visited Emine Şenyaşar for the Senyaşar family’s Justice Watch action in front of the Urfa Courthouse.
The delegation, which received information from Emine Şenyaşar about the massacre and the ongoing struggle for justice, stated that they will be the voice of the Şenyaşar family in Geneva and will be in solidarity with the family.
Emine Şenyaşar also thanked the delegation and said that solidarity gives them strength.
