BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center said, “Despite the inaction of our forces, the invading Turkish army continues its attacks. While these attacks carried out by AKP-MHP fascism for the sake of power continue uninterrupted, the invaders who are driven on our forces die in these attacks. AKP-MHP fascism is the only reason why our resistance positions have been bombed twice with banned weapons, 5 times with warplanes, 34 times with howitzers, mortars and tanks, and 4 invaders have died,” he said.
HPG also stated the following regarding the details of the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army against guerrilla forces and resistance areas:
“Zap region;
- On May 24, at 04:00, the invaders attacked our forces in the Sîda resistance positions, and our YJA Star forces responded to defend themselves.
- On May 24, at 16:30, the invaders attacked our forces in the resistance positions in Sida, and our forces responded with sabotage tactics to defend themselves, and as a result, 3 invaders were punished.
- From 19:00 on 24 May until 04:30 on 25 May, the invaders attacked our forces in the resistance positions in Sida, and our forces responded to defend themselves.
- At 06:15 on May 25, the invaders attacked our forces in the Girê FM Resistance Area, our forces responded to defend themselves, and as a result, 1 mobesse camera system was destroyed.
- On May 25, at 10:15, the invaders again attacked our forces in the Girê FM Resistance Area, our forces responded to defend themselves and 1 invader was punished.
- On May 24, 25 and 26, the invaders attacked our forces in the Girê FM Resistance Area, and our forces responded to defend themselves.
Xakurke region;
- Attacks were carried out on Girê Martyr Şahan on May 26 at 11:50, and on Girê Martyr Axîn at 18:30, and our forces responded to the invaders to defend themselves.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with prohibited weapons;
- On 24 and 25 May, our resistance positions in Girê FM and Sîda were bombed twice with prohibited weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 23 and 26 May, the Girê Martyr Piling, Girê Hakkarî, Girê Amediyê and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas of Zap were bombed 5 times with warplanes.
- On May 23, our resistance positions in Metîna’s Girê Martyr Piling, Girê Hakkarî, Girê Amediyê, Zap’s Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Girê Bahar, Çemço and Sîda were bombed 34 times with howitzers, mortars and tanks.
- The invading Turkish army is trying to attack our positions in the Girê FM Resistance Area on May 24, 25 and 26 and try to demolish them with scoops and crushers.”
