NEWS CENTER – Today marks one year since the Turkish fascist and invading state launched attacks in Zap, Metina and Avashin after failing in its goal to control this region during the attack that took place the year before (2021). Since the first day of the attacks, the Kurdistan freedom fighters have been fighting and resisting any advance by the fascist state, resulting in an extensive loss for Erdogan and his accomplices.
The epic of resistance that has been written in the free mountains of southern Kurdistan has become a new period of struggle and resistance within the revolutionary struggle of the PKK and has reached its peak with the resistances on Mount FM, Memreso, Amediyê, Cûdî, and so many other battle fronts which have demonstrated to the enemy that the PKK’s apoist spirit of struggle based on the truth and philosophy of APO Rêber will never bow to hardship and fascism. Even using all their military and technological apparatus, banned weapons and immoral tactics, they were not able to advance their occupation plans for the second following year and were barred by fierce resistance which caused them many casualties and an internal breakdown of crises.
The accomplices of the Turkish fascist state, the Barzani family and the KDP, have tried to help the invaders in any way they have been asked to…from building military bases to be used by Turkish soldiers to attacks against guerrilla positions, mainly by preventing independent research commissions from going to the territory of South Kurdistan where the war is taking place to conduct research on the use of chemical weapons used by the fascist state – prevented because once officially proven through legal institutions, the situation would change for the invaders.
Based on the historical resistance and victory of the heroes of the guerrilla freedom fighters, thousands of people rose up in revolt in the 4 parts of Kurdistan and beyond, to show solidarity with the revolutionary struggle and resistance, as well as demand that the fascist Turkish state be held accountable for its crimes committed in these 2 years of interrupted attacks.
Our agency prepared this video in memory of all the martyrs of the revolutionary struggle who fought until their last breath this year and demonstrated to all of humanity that the willpower of the supporter militant is stronger than any military technology.
