NEWS CENTER – The co-chairman of the KCK Executive Council has released a May Day greeting message, commemorating the May Day fallen and calling on all people to support the Jobs and Freedom Alliance and the Yeşil Sol party. The message states, among other things:
With feelings of unity and solidarity, we once again salute May Day to all working people, especially the working class, oppressed societies and women, and we call on everyone to greet May Day strongly and with feelings of unity and solidarity Feelings of supporting the Work and Freedom Alliance and the Yeşil Sol party in the elections and destroying the fascist AKP-MHP alliance.”
The message from the KCK for May 1st, Labor Day, is as follows:
“We celebrate May Day, the day of labor, solidarity and struggle of all societies, especially the working class, women and the oppressed. May Day has become a historic day and this celebration is the result of great expense and struggle. In this sense, May Day is both the holiday of the working class, the laborers and the oppressed, as well as an expression of resistance and struggle. We commemorate once again all Şehîds of revolution and democracy in the person of the Şehîds of May Day, and we reaffirm our promise of resistance, struggle and success to the Şehîds.
The struggle of the working class against the capitalist system of exploitation occupies an important place in human history. The struggle of the working class and workers for equality, freedom and democracy developed as a continuation of mankind’s historic struggle and left mankind a great legacy. The struggle of the working class, which developed with the ideal of a socialist life, has contributed to raising the awareness of society against inequality and exploitation, enlightening it and giving it a militant character for all of humanity. In this respect, the struggle of the working class has taken its place in history among the struggles for equality and freedom,
The ideals of May Day, which express the striving for equality and freedom of the working class, toilers, women and oppressed society, have lost none of their relevance today. The intensification of exploitation by capitalist modernity, the deepening of inequality, the plundering and destruction of nature and the further development of the order of poverty, war and massacre make the ideal expressed on May Day of an equal, free and exploitative world and the struggle for these ideals is even more important today. In this regard, it is very important to celebrate May 1st vigorously, to embrace these values and to step up the fight to live them, and this is more necessary than ever.
The revolution in Kurdistan and the struggle of the Kurdish society are also an expression of the realization of the aspirations of the working class, the toilers, the women and the oppressed societies for equality and freedom. Rêber APO was very active in the development of the struggle for socialism and demonstrated this by founding the PKK movement and taking up the struggle against colonialism.
The most important feature of May Day is the development of unity and solidarity and that only through unity and solidarity can the oppressed succeed in the struggle against exploitation. Because for the success of the struggle for equality and freedom, it is very important that those who fight against the exploitative order strengthen their unity and solidarity. For this reason, the historical leaders of the working class have emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity and have striven to develop unity and solidarity. Today, more than ever, unity and solidarity are needed against the deepening exploitation of capitalist modernity. The leaders of the socialist movement in Turkey have demonstrated this by their behavior. Rêber APO has also made great efforts to ensure the solidarity of Kurdish society and societies of Turkey and ensure the solidarity and common struggle of Kurdish society and societies of Turkey. Our movement attaches great importance to the solidarity of the Kurdish society’s struggle for freedom with the struggle of the societies of Turkey and the working class, as well as the coming together of the Middle East societies with the awareness of the common struggle, and is making efforts in this direction.
The Alliance for Work and Freedom formed by the Kurdish society and the revolutionary and democratic forces of Turkey is a very important step towards unity and solidarity. At a time when Turkey is going through an important electoral process, it is an important achievement that Kurdish society and the societies of Turkey unite as an alliance for jobs and freedom against the fascist AKP-MHP government representing the exploiter order .
