That’s why the Kurdish people and their friends celebrate the 4th of April every year with great morale and enthusiasm. Because as soon as Leader Apo opened his eyes to the world, he took a radical stance against this sexist world and refused to participate in the polluted life of this world. The life system that dominates the world in which Leader Apo was born, It was a system that existed through the physical and spiritual enslavement of women. Her stance against the male-dominated way of life also took a stance against the brutal enslavement of women. Therefore, the search for a free woman was the very search for a free life. While an important part of this tradition in Kurdistan was planting tree seedlings in every living place with a spirit of mobilization, the other part was the magnificent Amara marches. However, getting to this point has not been easy. The colonial genocidal AKP-MHP regime, despite all the prohibitions and obstructions it developed, still failed to remove the Amara marches from the agenda of the Kurdish people. Our people martyred their two precious children during the Amara marches in the past. We once again bow with respect and gratitude in front of the immortal memories of comrades Mahsum Karaoğlan and Mustafa Dağ, who became the symbols of patriotic devotion to Leader Apo.
The Kurdish people, together with their friends, gave many messages from the 2023 Newroz squares. But the biggest and most important message given by these enthusiastic Newroz squares is the message that the isolation on Leader Apo will be lifted as soon as possible and his physical freedom will be ensured. Neither as a People nor as a Movement, we can no longer tolerate the Isolation on Leader Apo. Ensuring the end of the Isolation on Leader Apo in 2023 and paving the way for physical freedom is our most fundamental struggle target. Because it is clear that without the Imrali isolation being lifted, no progress can be made either in the war or in the solution.
Our people, together with their friends, will maintain their enthusiastic and determined stance in the Newroz squares throughout the year, further enlarging them in the perspective of Journey to the Sun.
