BEHDINAN – The statement, signed by the KCK Executive Council Co-presidency, is as follows:
“Based on the concept of liquidation and genocide put into effect on July 24, 2015, the fascist AKP-MHP government has been trying to eliminate all the gains of the Kurdish people and to carry out the Kurdish genocide by liquidating the Kurdish Freedom Movement with violence and special war methods never seen in history. When the fascist regime had difficulties in the face of guerrilla resistance, it resorted to the use of chemical weapons, tactical nuclear weapons and all kinds of prohibited weapons. While our people are trying to be intimidated by oppression, arrest, torture and special warfare methods, the absolute torture and isolation system on Leader Apo has been aggravated. The fascist AKP-MHP government has also put great pressure on the people of Turkey to continue the war against the Kurdish people and to carry out the Kurdish genocide, has turned the state into a gang and mafia order, and has transformed Turkey into a social, led to a political and economic crisis and collapse. Now, the peoples of Turkey as well as the Kurdish people want to get rid of the fascist AKP-MHP government.
IF AKP-MHP POWER IS REDUCED, A DEMOCRATIC STRUGGLE WILL BE OPENED
The struggle we waged as a movement and as a people brought the fascist AKP-MHP government to the brink of destruction. The AKP-MHP government has been defeated by our struggle, and this state of defeat deepens its destruction every day. With the collapse of the AKP-MHP, a new process will be entered in Kurdistan and Turkey, and the biggest obstacle to the democratic struggle will be removed. The 14 May elections represent a very important step to create such a development. If the AKP-MHP fascist alliance is overthrown in the May 14 elections, the way for democratic struggle will be opened. And this depends on the strong reflection of the will of the people on the 14 May elections. In this respect, the May 14 elections represent a very important process of struggle to get rid of the anti-Kurdish racist, genocidal colonialist fascist government.
YOU MUST GO TO THE VOTE AND VOTE
Our people abroad, as well as our people in Turkey and Kurdistan, should attach great importance to this election and must go to the polls and vote. The will of our people living in Europe must be reflected in the ballot box. Throughout our history of struggle, our people, especially in Europe, have provided great support to the struggle and made all kinds of sacrifices expected of them. Undoubtedly, patriotism demands it. Our people abroad have always been a part of the struggle in the country and deserved the honor of it. However, it should be well understood that an important dimension of this struggle is elections. Turkey’s social, political and economic conditions made the elections very important. It is possible to overthrow the fascist AKP-MHP government, which we have failed as a movement and the people and brought to the brink of destruction, by participating in the elections strongly. The votes of our people abroad are at a considerable level. Overseas votes will have a huge impact on the election results. In this respect, everyone must go to the polls and use the vote so that the AKP-MHP is dropped and the forces of democracy win. Votes abroad will be a very important support to the struggle in the country and the votes of our people in the elections. Therefore, our people abroad should see voting as a patriotic duty. Everyone should be sensitive to this issue and encourage each other. They should not be content with encouraging, they should warn each other and criticize those who do not approach sensitively.
NOT A SINGLE FIRE SHOULD BE GIVEN
In the past, the rate of our people abroad to go to the polls and vote was very low. This has been a great inadequacy and deficiency for us as a people. How can he not use a patriotic Kurdish vote and thus not support the struggle for freedom and democracy in the country? Our people should never accept this. The patriotic people of Kurdistan abroad must make up for the past inadequacy by participating strongly in this election without losing a single vote. This election is very different from past elections. No one should say that I have only one vote, that it has no effect whether I vote or not. Even a single vote is very important and no vote should be wasted.”
