“Our forces resisted the invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state on April 14, 2022 with a self-sacrificing spirit and created historical epics of resistance and made this invasion attack unsuccessful. One of the important positions of this historical resistance was the Kela Çemço resistance position in Zap. For 11 months and 20 days, that is, 353 days, the Turkish army, using all the means at its disposal, including chemical and prohibited weapons, turned towards this resistance position with all its might, but still Kela Çemço could not lower the resistance position. Kela Çemço resistance fighters showed a superior performance with their war style based on expert squad guerrillaism and inflicted heavy casualties on the enemy. Upon the decision and instruction given by our dispatch-administration command, which commanded this resistance, the resisters here left Kela Çemço on April 4th. However, later on, on April 7, Saca encountered the invaders in the field of resistance, clashes broke out after the Turkish army attacked, two people betrayed, but our comrade Botan Goyi was martyred by fighting selflessly. The betrayal of two people can never cast a shadow on the great and glorious resistance that took place in the Kela Çemço resistance position for 353 days.
In this position, where the resistance continued for about a year, we did not have any losses, nor did we have any difficulties. However, in order not to force the political conditions within the framework of our movement’s decision of inaction, our administration command, which commanded the resistance, made such a decision. The fact that the Turkish army, which entered the Kela Çemço resistance position, from which we left on our own initiative on April 4, with the guidance of two betrayers, turned it into a propaganda and success story, is a clear proof of its defeat. Two weeks after they were convinced that there were no guerrillas in them, they dared to enter the guerrilla position. If there had been an honorable military stance, this would not have been done, they would not have taken refuge in lies and would have revealed the truth by saying, “We inspected the tunnel left by the guerrilla.”

Our comrade Botan Goyî was born in a family belonging to the patriotic Goyî tribe of the Botan region. Qileban’s family from Hilali village had to migrate to Bashurê Kurdistan and settle in Zaxo. Our comrade Botan was born in Zaxo, where he spent his childhood and youth. Our comrade Botan, who grew up with the patriotic culture he inherited from his family, worked in different jobs to make a living as a laborer. Although he studied for 11 years, he left his education in Bashure Kurdistan, whose language is Kurdish, but which does not promise any future to the youth.
Our comrade Botan was raised as a patriotic youth who is sensitive to his environment, conscious of his social identity. It has always remained a longing, especially when it grew away from the ancient Botan lands. While he was in search of a free life and identity as a youth, he became interested in the Kurdistan Freedom Movement. Comrade Berxwedan Goyi, the son of his uncle, died in Manbij. The colonialist genocidal Turkish state’s launch of an invasion attack on Afrin, the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Afrin residents from their homeland, and the numerous massacres against our people have caused a great deal of hatred and anger in our comrade Botan. He joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla on 1 June 2018 to hold the invading Turkish state to account for the massacres it has inflicted on our people.
Comrade Botan, who joined the ranks of the guerrilla with great love and desire, immersed himself in the free life of the guerrilla with his whole being and embraced the PKK comradeship like a land longing for water. He re-created himself with the education he received on the basis of the Apoist ideology and experienced an important change and development. At the same time, he quickly learned the basic guerrilla rules in order to improve himself in guerrillaism, and became a good follower of his experienced comrades. Our comrade Botan, who has the ability to grasp what he reads quickly with his practical intelligence and has the ability to put it into practice, has made a significant progress in the fastest time. His humble stance, sincere comradeship, sincere participation, and self-sacrificing approach were appreciated by all his comrades, and he earned the love and respect of everyone.
He concentrated on guerrilla tactics that would thwart the attacks of the Turkish army, which was trying to gain superiority over the guerrilla, based on its advanced war technique and using it rudely, while at the same time inflicting strong blows on the enemy. On this basis, Comrade Botan wanted to deepen his guerrilla tactics and bring his guerrilla experience to the level of expertise and hold the enemy accountable. Specializing in the guerrilla of democratic modernity and becoming professional has become a passion of our comrade Botan. On this basis, he proposed to go to the military academy, and after his proposal was accepted, he received extensive training on assassination tactics and became an expert guerrilla. Our comrade Botan, who moved to the Zap area in 2021 as a guerrilla specialized in assassination tactics, actively participated in the war process here. He got to know the Zap field early on, immediately adapted to his comrades wherever he went and started practicing. In 2021 and 2022, it took its place in the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, which was developed against the comprehensive invasion attacks developed by the fascist AKP-MHP government at the expense of maintaining its own power. The expert team based on the terrain and resistance positions played a role in the development of the war style, and successfully fulfilled its responsibilities as an effective militant of the process that created epics with the Apoist spirit of sacrifice. Our comrade Botan is completely devoted to our people to have a free future and a free country and is locked in the victory of our sacred cause of freedom.
Our comrade Botan took his place in the resistance position of Kela Çemço throughout 2022 and responded with great courage and great determination against the invasion attacks that started on April 14. Kela Çemço became one of the valiant Apoist militants who were able to stop the Turkish army and inflict heavy blows on the resistance position for 353 days. It developed a historical resistance for about a year and in the last conflict it entered, it displayed the irresistible honorable stance of the Apoist Fedayeen militants. Our comrade Botan, who blended the ancient valor of the Botan people and the Goyi tribe with Apoist militancy and turned it into a reality in his own personality, will never be forgotten and his memory will be kept alive in Free Kurdistan. 2 GUERILLAS MARTYRED IN TENDUREK
Although our forces are in a position of inaction based on the decision taken by our movement, the fascist AKP-MHP regime continues its attacks. On April 16, two of our comrades who were on duty in the Tendurek area of Serhed were attacked by the Turkish army, as a result of which a conflict broke out and our comrades Fedai Commander Hêjar and Bager were martyred.

Our party, the PKK, which emerged with the incomparable efforts of Leader Apo; It has re-created the Kurdish people, who were moribund under the attacks of assimilation, denial and destruction and brought to the brink of extinction, from their ashes, making them the hope of freedom for all the oppressed. The oppressed Kurdish people, who returned to the stage of history with glory, created a legend that lasted half a century under the leadership of Leader Apo. The valiant sons of our people flocked to the ranks of the struggle for the protection and enlargement of the values created with the holy blood of our martyrs, whose every breath is gone, and this march for freedom continued uninterruptedly. Our patriotic people, integrated with the PKK’s fighting spirit, embraced our struggle with great enthusiasm by creating a serhildan tradition in Kurdistan.
Our Erdexan province, where Serhed’s ancient and strong social values dominate and the PKK resistance tradition is extremely lively, has also been one of the centers where our tradition of struggle spread rapidly. The colonialist Turkish state, which aims to distance our patriotic people from the culture of resistance created by the PKK, has made our province of Erdexan the center of specially targeted and dirty genocidal attacks. Despite all these attacks, our patriotic people, fed by Serhed’s ancient culture of resistance, have always and under all circumstances embraced the line of Leader Apo and the PKK without hesitation. Our comrade Hêjar, who assimilated the ancient culture of resistance of Serhed that did not allow the occupation and the occupier, and opened her eyes to the world in a patriotic family, has the personality of growing up with these strong social values. Witnessing the resistance and struggle of the guerrilla since childhood enabled our comrade Hêjar to establish strong ties with the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle early on. As a young and honorable Kurdish woman, the unique guerrilla behavior of female guerrillas against the invaders in the ancient mountains of Kurdistan enabled our comrade Hêjar to recognize the reality of the Kurdish woman, which has become invincible by equipping herself with the will of freedom and the philosophy of Leader Apo. The ignorance of women in the system, their enslavement and imprisonment within four walls caused our comrade Hêjar to go into deep questioning against the system. Our comrade Hêjar witnessed the discrimination and attacks against the Kurdish people in Ankara, Gazi University, one of the metropolises of Turkey, where he went to study, got to know both the system and the fascist Turkish regime closely. Our comrade, who deepened by constantly reading Leader Apo and found answers to her questions, believed with all her heart that the PKK is the only hope of freedom for all women, youth and the oppressed, and reached the determination to join the ranks of the struggle with great determination. Our comrade, who took part in youth work for a while and struggled to protect the Kurdish youth against the dirty genocidal attacks, never saw her struggle enough and always sought ways and methods to participate more and to put in more effort. Our comrade never accepted that Leader Apo was kept in the Imrali genocide system, has made the physical freedom of our people’s free will the center of their struggle. Our comrade, who shouted her righteous anger by participating in the protest actions against the International Conspiracy developed against our Leader in 2002, she was arrested by the colonial Turkish state and remained in prison for 4 months. Our comrade Hêjar, who came out of the dungeon with a stronger will and determination to fight, was based on a self-sacrificing struggle from the very beginning and joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in 2005, and walked with pride throughout his revolutionary life.
Our comrade joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in the ancient resistance mountains of Kurdistan, quickly adapted to the sacred life of the PKK. Our comrade, who successfully completed her new warrior training, came to the fore with her deep concentration and attracted the attention of all her comrades with her strong will and militant participation. Our comrade Hêjar approached every moment of life with great seriousness, has assimilated the life and comradely relations of the PKK, which is entrusted to our holy martyrs, and has adopted the principle of transferring them to life by feeling. Our comrade Hêjar, who has been based on the struggle line of Zîlan and Bêrîtans since the first day he joined, joined Hêzên Taybet right after her new warrior training and has had a self-sacrificing life and struggle for 18 years. Our comrade constantly trained and developed herself, she passed on what she learned to her new comrades and made great efforts for them to have a strong march in the line of Leader Apo. Our comrade Hêjar developed rapidly in the ranks of the party and took responsibility in the early period, spent many years in many important works and became a ready-to-duty militant in critical periods. Our comrade Hêjar carried out every mission with great patience and determination, has become one of our young commanders who, as an Apoist female militant, are nourished by tradition and carry the spirit of victory of the new era. Our comrade, who played a major role in the emergence of developments that contributed greatly to our struggle, especially in the technical field, has made an intense effort to improve herself in every field. Our comrade Hêjar enthroned the hearts of her comrades in every environment with hir simple and humble personality, she has succeeded in being an exemplary militant who lives and reflects the PKK comradeship properly. Our comrade Hêjar has successfully fulfilled the critical tasks he has taken on and has been a pioneer in many strategic studies; Avaşîn took a leading role in many fields, especially in Zap and Heftanîn, and became a strong representative of the PKK and PAJK line.
Comrade Hêjar, who took on the task of training new fighters for a while, conveyed the culture and morals of the PKK to our young comrades who joined the ranks of the Party and reflected this knowledge to her comrades. Our comrade Hejar continued his struggle in the Zap area after Avaşîn, has become one of our commanders, who knitted the resistance against the invasion attacks of the colonialist Turkish army, dealt the heaviest blows to the invaders and skillfully transferred the new era guerrilla tactics into practice. She internalized the Guerrilla of Democratic Modernity and brought it to life in every environment, became one of the leading female commanders created by the Apoist philosophy. Comrade Hêjar, one of our comrades who dealt a great blow to the colonialists’ dreams of occupation, strongly reflected his mastery in the art of war to the actions he carried out in the areas she was in. Comrade Hêjar was one of the commanders of the Cenga Heftanîn Revolutionary Campaign launched by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against the occupation attacks of the colonial Turkish state targeting the Heftanîn area in August 2019, became one of the architects of the historical resistance that developed in Heftanîn. Our comrade Hêjar, who knew the weight of the historical responsibility has taken relentlessly in order to carry the legacy of struggle of our immortal martyrs to victory in the person of Bargiran, Esmer, Rûstem and Zelal, who resisted sacrifice and wrote epics in Heftanîn, and based on participation accordingly, dedicates every moment of his life to the struggle. Qelqelî, one of the patriotic and important resistance areas of Serhed, where the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle first developed, played a leading role in the development of our people’s freedom struggle with hundreds of valiant children he sent to the ranks of the struggle. He never compromised his patriotic stance against all kinds of oppression and torture of the enemy, and he always took care of our struggle and gave effort and price for its further development. The family of our comrade Bager, as a valuable family of Qelqelî, embraced our struggle for freedom and did not hesitate to pay a price for this cause. Our comrade Bager, who was born in such a valuable family, was undoubtedly influenced by the ancient Serhed culture and patriotism of his family, and shaped his personality on these foundations. Our comrade, who grew up in a natural village environment until his youth, It has acquired the most plain and honest characteristics of the village society. The fact that his family joined the guerrilla ranks and there were martyrs made our comrade Bager know our party PKK from an early age, and caused him to admire the guerrilla. That’s why he dreamed of being a guerrilla as a child, and as he grew older, he enlarged this dream. Our comrade Bager, who had to go to the metropolises of Turkey in order to provide for his family during his youth, saw the reality of the enemy more closely. Although he witnessed the naked oppression and torture of the enemy in Kurdistan, he saw and felt more closely the genocidal policy and special war practices that the enemy wanted to develop against our people in the metropolises he visited. Our comrade Bager, who felt great anger against these policies of the enemy, He has considered it a duty to fight against this enemy reality and has taken his place in the ranks of the struggle. Comrade Bager put what he understood into practice in a short time, making early progress and becoming a professional revolutionary. Upon the martyrdom of one of his relatives in 2019, he wanted to enlarge his struggle as a requirement of loyalty to our martyrs and decided to join the guerrilla ranks based on the fact that this was the result of joining the guerrilla ranks.
Our comrade, who received the first training after joining the guerrilla ranks, achieved years of experience in a short time and became a competent guerrilla thanks to his willing and determined participation. He had no difficulty in adapting to guerrilla and mountain life, and with his hardworking and self-sacrificing characteristics, he soon started to lead his comrades. Our comrade Bager, who has made a great effort to understand the war tactic of the new era and fulfill its requirements, has endeavored to fulfill all his duties and responsibilities in this regard, and has tried to be an answer to the historical process we have been through. On this basis, he was in a multidimensional preparation from the construction of war tunnels to training himself in the military sense, and with these features he set an example for his comrades. Our comrade Bager, who has been practicing in many regions in the Medya Defense Areas, has earned the love and respect of his comrades with his sincere companionship and unwavering participation in every field he is in. Our comrade, who grasps what he has learned quickly and wants to put it into practice immediately, has improved himself in the guerrilla ranks thanks to this feature and has managed to reach a level where he can take on the heavy responsibilities of the process. Our comrade Bager, who closely felt Leader Apo and his struggle in Imrali, suggested going to Bakure Kurdistan in order to further expand our struggle led by our Leader and our heroic martyrs and to respond to the reality of the Leadership and martyrs on a correct basis. Our comrade Bager, who was entitled to go to the Serhed area, one of the most challenging areas of our guerrilla struggle, It has determined as one of its top priorities to have a successful practice in the Serhed geography, which it knows well. As a Serhed guerrilla, knowing the local people well has been an advantage for our comrade Bager to carry out an effective struggle. As a Serhedian, our comrade, who carries the ancient Serhed culture properly, became a pioneer militant with the Apoist culture and morality he received and started to lead our people. Our comrade Bager, who managed to become an important representative of Apoist militancy in the Serhed area, which he went to with great hopes and assertiveness, fought to his last breath in the conflict with the enemy in the Tendurek area on April 16, 2023, and was martyred together with Comrade Hejar.
