HSM Headquarters Command stated the following in its statement:
“When the AKP-MHP fascist regime saw that it was politically defeated as of 2015 and could no longer stay in power, it decided on a war policy. On this basis, especially the Kurdish people, the Kurdistan Freedom Movement and all segments in Turkey who are not in favor of fascism became the target of the AKP-MHP fascist regime, and relentless attacks were launched. This war, which started with the absolute isolation and psychological torture applied to Leader Apo in Imrali, was waged against all segments of society step by step. However, no matter how much the fascist regime attacked, it could not reach its goal by breaking the resistance attitude of Leader Apo, the Kurdish people, his friends and the Kurdistan Freedom Movement.
The fascist AKP-MHP regime gathered all its strength, and with the support of the international hegemonic powers and the local collaborative Kurdish line, launched an attack to occupy the Medya Defense Zones with a new move. On April 24, 2021, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla resisted these attacks, which focused on Avaşîn, Zap and Metina, with historical resistance and prevented the AKP-MHP regime from achieving its goals. The fascist regime, by occupying the Medya Defense Zones, weakened the Kurdistan Freedom Movement there and occupied new places, especially Başûrê Kurdistan, Shengal and Rojavayê Kurdistan, to complete the borders of the National Pact, to achieve an early election in Turkey with a victory from here. intended to continue. However, it failed to do so in 2021. The AKP-MHP special war regime aimed to realize its plan by using chemical weapons and banned bombs against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in order to achieve its goal in 2022 on the basis of the same concept. The fascist regime received open and covert support from NATO Gladio and collaborative treasonous local elements in order to remain silent against the war crimes it would commit. On this basis, it started an invasion operation against Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna with extensive and intense air attacks on April 14, 2022, and on April 17, 2022 by advancing by land and trying to land troops from the air. This invasion operation, which is planned to yield results in a few weeks, was developed based on the concept of recklessly using chemical weapons, banned bombs, advanced warfare techniques and heavy bombardments. However, the freedom guerrilla Zap in 2022, with the will and spirit of the Apoist sacrifice, By developing epic resistances in Avaşîn and Metîna, it has stopped the invasion operation and made it unsuccessful by preserving its position and presence against all inhuman attacks, which are war crimes. As a result, the Turkish army had to leave some places and retreat at the end of 2022.
EVERYONE IS TIRED OF THIS FASCIST REGIME
This war process and inhuman attacks were initiated by the decision of Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli, with the aim of keeping the fascist regime in power for another term. In this war, all the possibilities of the peoples and state of Türkiye were mobilized. The fascist regime aimed to gain political interests on the basis of people’s blood, tried to portray the survival of its own power as the survival of the whole of Turkey, and forced everyone to support this war. But day by day, the dirty war policy of the fascist regime became more exposed, the crimes against humanity were documented, and it was revealed that they were responsible for the picture that dragged Turkey into disaster and brought it to the brink of collapse. With Turkey’s entry into the election process, Tayyip Erdoğan, Devlet Bahçeli, who are responsible and implementers of this special war, It has now become completely clear that private war chiefs such as Hulusi Akar and Süleyman Soylu developed this war for the sake of political profit, tried to guarantee their own power and interests by shedding the blood of the guerrillas and soldiers, but when they were not successful, they were worried about saving themselves. Everyone is fed up with this fascist regime that makes the peoples of Turkey cry and the support given has decreased significantly.
THE BALANCE SHEET OF THE CONTINUOUS WAR
Undoubtedly, it has not been easy to reveal such a historical result, to stop the invasion attacks, and to resist numerous attacks, including chemical weapons and banned bombs. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which gained a self-sacrificing spirit and indomitable will with the enlightenment of consciousness of the Apoist philosophy, resisted with heroism against the attacks that developed in 2021 and 2022. Even though the attacks of the Turkish army decreased partially and had to withdraw from some places with the entry of the winter process, the attacks in the east and west of the Zap still continue until today. During the one-year war period, 259 of our comrades were martyred in the Medya Defense Zones. While 2833 invaders were punished, 387 were injured. While Medya Defense Areas were bombed tens of thousands of times with tanks, howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons, It was bombed 4233 times by warplanes and 5628 times by helicopter attacks. Our resistance positions were bombed 3730 times with banned bombs and chemical weapons, and the fascist AKP-MHP regime committed grave crimes against humanity. The one-year balance sheet of the war, which started on April 14, 2022 and continued uninterruptedly until April 14, 2023, despite the decision of inaction declared by our Movement in the last two months, is as follows:
