In 2020, which was one of the years when the genocidal and colonialist attacks against our people’s freedom struggle were experienced most intensely, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla insisted on the line of resistance that thousands of martyrs brought to the present day with their unique efforts, and defeated the attacks of the invaders and made the Apoist will dominant. In 2020, when great heroism was experienced, our comrades Evolution and Revolution were martyred on 13 October, our comrades Hogir and Jîr on 7 October, and our comrades Tîrêj and Givara on 19 October.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the esteemed families of our comrades who will continue to lead us with their martyrdom as well as their efforts and self-sacrificing participation in the guerrilla ranks.

EVRIM BOTAN
Our comrade Evrim was born in the patriotic village of Xavista in the Shax district of Wan. There were participations in the guerrilla ranks from his close circle. At the same time, there were martyrdoms of close relatives in the guerrilla ranks. Our comrade Evrim had the opportunity to get to know our freedom movement closely for the first time, thanks to the guerrilla groups that came and went to their villages and highlands from an early age. She was impressed by the lifestyles, comrades and relations of the guerrillas she saw, and envied the guerrilla’s life that smelled of freedom. Therefore, she dreamed of joining the guerrilla. Seeing the simplicity and honesty of the guerrilla’s lifestyle, our comrade Evrim understood that as a woman, she can only taste freedom in the ranks of the guerrilla. Because, she not only brought the traditional aspects of the society she lived in to consciousness, but also had the opportunity to see and get to know the new life developed under the leadership of our female comrades. For this reason, she made it known that she can only be herself in the guerrilla ranks. The fact that her close relatives joined the guerrilla ranks deeply affected our comrade Evrim, and upon this, she joined the guerrilla ranks in 2013 as a result of a more emotional impact.
Our comrade, who stayed in the Shax area for a while when she first joined the guerrilla, later moved to the Medya Defense Areas. She received the New Warrior, Martyr Mehmet Goyî Operations and heavy weapons trainings, quickly deepened herself in guerrilla warfare tactics. In this process, her emotional participation has evolved into a conscious participation with the ideological training she received. With the training she received, she better understood and brought to consciousness herself, her gender and our public reality. She was deeply affected by our Leader’s analysis of women’s liberation. With the concentrations she experienced during this analysis training, she made the dimensions of free women even more evident. Afterwards, he continued his search for freedom by continuing these concentrations. As a leading YJA Star guerrilla, our comrade, who claimed to fight against the genocide and massacre attacks against our people and to lead our people to a free future, immediately took her place in the resistance ranks as soon as the ISIS attacks against our people took place. Our comrade Evrim fought against ISIS reaction for a long time, managed to avenge thousands of women who were sold in slave markets and massacred with the struggle he waged. Our comrade, who was seriously injured once during the intense war, stood up again with great determination and will and continued her struggle where she left off. She managed to become a competent YJA Star commander with her ideological depth as well as her military experience, found herself again after completing her duty against ISIS reaction, she returned to the mountains of Kurdistan, where she regained her essence. After returning to the mountains, she took part in ideological and military training at the Martyr Berîtan Academy, a free women’s academy, and made an account of her long-term war practice. In order to make stronger breakthroughs and reach the leading command personality of the new era, our comrade, who revealed the missing parts after deep concentrations, made a revolutionary breakthrough by eliminating these deficiencies. Our comrade, who has made herself competent in the line of women’s freedom and has become a YJA Star commander specializing in the new era war tactics, is more strongly oriented to practice than ever before. Our comrade, who first went to the Heftanîn area, immediately took his place on the battle fronts. By participating in many actions developed against the enemy in the field of Heftanîn. She has fulfilled his pioneering mission expected from her. With her courage in the war, she gave strength and morale to her comrades and fulfilled her duties as both a comrade and a commander.
Our comrade, who later moved to the Metîna area and continued her militant duties there, was martyred in an enemy attack on 13 October 2020. We reiterate once again the promise of our comrade Evrim, who managed to gain a place in the hearts of all her comrades with his militant stance, insistence on freedom, and love for her comrades, that we will carry the struggle handed over to us to success.

DEVRIM CAVRES
Our comrade Devrim was born in a patriotic family in Silopia, one of the important resistance centers of Botan. Our comrade Devrim had the opportunity to get to know our Party since she was very young, as her family and the environment she lived in had a deep patriotic awareness. She began to understand the meaning of the guerrilla, to which she heard her heroic stories, for our people, at a young age. The protection of our people by the actions developed by the guerrilla, especially during periods of intense enemy attacks, had a great impact on our comrade Devrim. Because of this, her admiration for the guerrilla increased even more. She met our comrades several times on Mount Cudi, where she always hoped to see the guerrilla. Comrade Devrim attention has drawn the attention of our comrade, the love of comradeship and the value he attaches to our people, which is our reason for existence. Seeing the guerrilla, to whom she heard her heroic stories, personally and witnessing the truth of what was told, increased the love of our comrade Devrim for the guerrilla even more. The participation of her close relatives in the guerrilla and the martyrdom of one of her relatives while she was working in the militia led our comrade Devrim to go on a quest. Again, the realization of the Rojava Freedom Revolution and the attacks against this revolution caused our comrade Devrim to intensify his searches and come to a decision stage. She started to focus on our Leader even before joining the guerrilla ranks.
After a short-term training and practice in Avaşîn, our comrade Devrim, who went to fight against ISIS gangs in 2015 to defend our people, fought against DAESH for about 5 years. Our comrade Devrim made revenge for the attacks and massacres carried out by gangs against women as one of his top priorities, avenged thousands of women who were murdered by fighting bravely with great anger. Our comrade played a role in the defeat of the gangs by participating in many moves, improved herself militarily during this process, gained important experience, and thus became a competent YJA Star commander. She made the participation of the martyrs on the battlefield a way of life, returned to the mountains of Kurdistan after successfully completing his duty in the war against the gangs. Our comrade Devrim, one of our comrades who represents the command spirit of the new era with the experiences she gained in the war and the development of herself in the line of free women, continued to carry out her revolutionary duty in the field of Metina. She never accepted an ordinary participation for herself with her concentrations, she wanted to have a bouncer walk along the Zîlan line. She has undertaken a pioneering mission everywhere from her participation in life to her concentration against the enemy, from comradely relations to practical work. Thanks to her immersive style, she also focused on her comrades with whom she struggled, and spent effort and effort for them to develop in the line of free women. With this aspect, she has succeeded in giving the color of a free woman to every environment she is in. Our comrade Devrim, whose one of the biggest aims is to channel the deep concentrations she has lived through into a more fruitful struggle under the roof of Hêzên Taybet, thus wanted to show her self-sacrificing lifestyle with more effective practices. Our comrade was martyred in the enemy attack on October 13, 2020, became a sacrifice with her stance in life, although she could not fulfill this request, and by completing this at the summit, she became a militant that all her comrades will take as an example.

HOGIR QAMIŞLO
Qamishlo, the city of resistance in Rojavayê Kurdistan, has embraced our struggle since the first days of our freedom struggle, and duly fulfilled its patriotic duty by recruiting thousands of valiant children. Our Qamishlo people, who did not compromise their patriotic line against all the intimidation, assimilation, massacre and oppression of the BAAS regime, succeeded in preserving their insistent stance and culture in freedom at the cost of paying a great price. Born and raised in a patriotic family in such a patriotic environment, our comrade Hogir began to get to know our freedom movement better with the realization of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. The deep patriotism of his family and the developments created by the Rojava Freedom Revolution enabled our comrade Hogir to take his place in the ranks of the struggle. First, he joined the resistance units to protect our people against the gang attacks against Rojava. With the energy of his youth and his deep devotion to our people, he became competent in the ranks of the struggle in a short time and fulfilled his revolutionary duty by participating in many actions and moves. He led all his comrades with his courage and carefree participation in the actions he took, and became an exemplary warrior with his successes. Although he was seriously injured in both feet during this war, he quickly healed his wounds and took his place in the resistance fronts. During the intense war, our comrade Hogir, who carried out the duty of defense of our people, tried to understand the Apoist philosophy that was the inspiration of the Rojava Freedom Revolution. Leader Apo, to whom our people are bound by an endless trust, has determined to understand the reality as one of his biggest goals. In this sense, our Movement’s recognition of the valuable cadres of our Movement, who fought with great sacrifices in the field of Rojava, understood the view and value given by the Apoist philosophy to humans and nature. He was also influenced by the important changes revealed by the Apoist philosophy in the life of our people. Our comrade Hogir, who wants to become an Apoist militant himself after all that has happened, is aware that he can do this best in the mountains of Kurdistan, in the ranks of the guerrilla. Our comrade Hogir, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015, when the genocidal Turkish state launched a massive attack against our people and our Movement.
After joining the guerrilla ranks, he has always expressed his admiration for the magnificent nature of the Kurdistan mountains. Our comrade, who stated that he would not change his guerrilla life, intertwined with nature, away from material life, for anything, improved his spirituality and world of meaning with each passing day. In his journey to the truth, which he started by joining the guerrilla ranks, he did not stop educating himself at all times, and in a short time he became a competent and experienced Apoist militant. Comrade Hogir, who is aware of the need to respond as an Apoist militant against the attacks of the enemy against our people in many areas of Kurdistan, especially in the Medya Defense Areas, is aware that for this he needs to train himself in guerrilla warfare. Our comrade, who has an important military experience, He made a great effort to deepen himself in the guerrilla tactics and understanding of the new period. Our comrade, who passionately wanted to specialize in the branch of sabotage, which has an important place in the development of our freedom war, received sabotage training for this purpose. Comrade Hogir, who set an example for all his comrades with his success in the education process, took on the task of educating his comrades by staying at the academies at the end of the training. Our comrade, who further developed what he learned with each passing day, took care of the education of dozens of his comrades and ensured the training of expert saboteurs like himself. Our comrade Jîr was born in the village of Peyanis in Colemêrg, in a patriotic and devoted family. Many of our comrade Jîr’s family and close relatives joined the guerrilla ranks, and his uncle’s son, Afat Colemêrg-Hozan Demir, was martyred. Since our comrade Jîr grew up in such a family environment, witnessed the guerrilla struggle closely, and was exposed to enemy pressure and attacks because of his family’s patriotism, our party recognized the PKK from an early age. The more the pressure and attacks of the enemy have increased, the more the loyalty of our comrade Jîr to our country Kurdistan and our party PKK has increased. In this sense, as a Kurdish youth, he found the right way to fight the enemy. He spent most of his life in Colemêrg, as his family moved to the center of Colemêrg. Comrade Jîr, who was involved in youth work to respond to the enemy’s attacks on our people, led the way for Kurdish youth to take their place in the resistance ranks by breaking the enemy’s genocidal policy, and to create a new life by developing the self-organization of our people. He became an exemplary Apoist militant at the very beginning of his combat life with his devoted participation and honest approach in the works he took part in. Our comrade Jîr, who made our people an organized power with his success in the works, also attracted the attention of the enemy and was unfortunately captured by the enemy. Our comrade Jîr, who succeeded in transforming the dungeons created by the enemy with the aim of breaking the will and keeping the Kurdish youth away from the struggle, into an education center with an attitude equivalent to the fighting stance, succeeded in giving the most meaningful answer to the enemy. Our comrade Jîr, who stayed in colonial dungeons for about 3 years, trained himself in this process, made deep concentrations to understand the reality of the Party and the Leadership, and determined the course of struggle on this basis. He believed that he had to fight with a style and participation that could respond to our people’s demands for freedom, and shortly after he came out of prison, he turned to the guerrilla ranks of the mountains of Kurdistan, which he had dreamed of for years, to respond to the International Conspiracy against our Leader in February 2014 and to give a self-criticism of the missing comradeship.
Our comrade Jîr, who joined the guerrilla ranks from the Xakurkê area, received his first training here. With the education he received, he adapted to the Party life, which he was not familiar with, in a short time and became integrated with the mountains. Our comrade Jîr, who has a certain organizational experience, has made an intense effort to become a professional guerrilla by training him more in the military sense. Since 2015, it has been in search of a constant response and action against the liquidation attacks that the enemy has developed against our people and our Movement. Our comrade, who was successful in this search, participated in many actions in the Xakurkê area. Our comrade, who managed to become a militant that all his comrades would take as an example with his self-sacrificing and brave participation in these actions, later became a commander and started to lead all his comrades. Our comrade Jîr, who has been involved in many works that require self-discipline and confidence, from taking action against the enemy to infrastructure preparations, from the construction of war tunnels, has been one of our comrades who embraced the missions of the period with his high tempo. Our comrade, who left a mark on all his comrades in the Xakurkê area, where he worked as a revolutionist for about 5 years, put himself ideologically and militarily in order to realize the goals and dreams of many martyred comrades with whom he fought and reached martyrdom, to ensure the physical freedom of Leader Apo, which is his top priority, and to bring our people to the free future they deserve. He believed that he needed to develop further. On this basis, he was involved in military and ideological training within the framework of the project of restructuring the guerrilla. In a process where the enemy wanted to liquidate our Movement by using the technologies of the age, it was based on deepening itself in guerrillaism in accordance with our Leader’s determination of “The greatest technique is man”. In this sense, he experienced a deepening in the guerrilla tactics of the new era and became professional in the skillful use of these tactics. Our comrade Jîr, who has become a leading commander due to his high skill in military tactics and technique and ideologically deepening himself in the philosophy of Leader Apo, has been involved in the training of many of his comrades by taking part in the academy studies. He was interested in the development of each of his comrades moment by moment, and at the same time continued to improve himself. Our comrade Jîr, who has a non-stop march in the life of the revolution, During this struggle, he reached martyrdom as a pioneer militant who was taken as an example by all his comrades with his hardworking, self-sacrificing, honest and determined characteristics. TIRÊJ BOTAN
Our people of Cizîra Botan, who are the living memory of the Kurdish people with their thousands of years of ancient culture, have been invaded, massacred, exiled from their place dozens of times since history, but they have never resisted the invaders and insisted on an honorable life. Cizîr, who managed to protect his existence every time by taking shelter in Cudi, has become the other name of our people living and being free in the mountain. For this reason, he took refuge in the Botan mountains, which embrace him with a mother’s compassion every time they get into trouble, fed from there and cling to life. Today, our people in Cizîra Botan are proudly resisting all the massacres, seizing and genocidal attacks of the invaders, trusting the guerrilla on the peaks of the mountains, which they know as their protector, and knows that they will achieve freedom with the resistance of the guerrilla.
Our comrade Tîrêj was born in a patriotic family in Cizîra Botan, where there is such a deep-rooted tradition of resistance. Our comrade Tirêj grew up with the heroic epics of our comrade Seyfettin Baysoy, who was martyred in the 1990s, from his childhood. That’s why he always wondered and admired the guerrilla. Again, like Cizîr, his birth and growth in an area that is the center of our resistance caused our comrade Tîrêj to naturally get to know our Party. Our comrade, who started his first revolutionary actions by taking part in the youth resistances developed against the enemy in the streets of Cizîr, where enemy oppression and torture became almost routine, began to better understand the reality of the enemy in this process. Our comrade Tîrêj joined the Self-Government Resistance and actively fought against the enemy in a process where the enemy has been attacking our people within the framework of the “Plan of Collapse” since 2015 and wants to bring the genocide policy to a conclusion. He carried out many successful actions against the enemy in his intense war practice of about 4 months. Our comrade Tîrêj, who knew many valuable revolutionaries in Cizîr, where historical and epic resistances were experienced and the enemy suffered great blows, was deeply affected by the resistance and self-sacrificing war of these comrades. Our comrade Tîrêj, who defines joining the guerrilla ranks and meeting with the mountain life as his own rebirth, has become integrated with free life by discarding the effects of the capitalist lifestyle in the guerrilla ranks day by day. With the trainings he received, he started to know himself, our people and our struggle more deeply, the more he got to know and understood, the more he became attached to the struggle and increased his level of participation day by day. The continuation of the attacks on the enemy and their spread to other areas of our country enabled our comrade Tîrêj to participate more actively in the struggle. Being aware of his duties and responsibilities as an Apoist militant, our comrade crossed into the Zap area to both respond to our people’s expectations of freedom and avenge his comrades who were brutally murdered in front of their eyes. Our comrade, who has worked in many different areas in the Zap field and stayed in the region, has earned the respect of all his comrades with his humble and self-sacrificing characteristics. Our comrade, who participated in every stage of the war preparations in the Zap area, took part in the construction of the war tunnels where epic resistances are experienced today. Therefore, our comrade Tîrêj also contributed to the Zap area, where great examples of heroism are experienced today. Again, by participating in many actions against the enemy, he channeled his anger towards the enemy in the most correct way, and in this sense, he showed his comrades the most correct method of struggle. Our comrade Tîrêj, who has been assigned a historical mission in the new period guerrilla and who is the main executor of our war, is the team commander, took part in the organization of many actions and made an important effort for the success of these actions. Our comrade Tîrêj, who succeeded in gaining a place in the hearts of all his comrades with his plain, humble and militant stance, was martyred in an enemy attack on October 19, 2020, and completed his pioneering mission at the summit.

For decades, our people of Rojava have been leading the Kurdistan Revolution with their support for the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and thousands of valuable children they recruited to the guerrilla ranks. Our people of Rojava, who sacrificed thousands of their most valiant sons for a free Kurdistan, still maintain their insistent stance in freedom against occupation and genocidal politics, and shield their chests against all kinds of attacks. Against the attacks of the invading Turkish state against both Rojava and Medya Defense Zones, thousands of young people from Rojava take part in the resistance and bring our people closer to freedom with their resistance every day.
Our comrade Givara was born in a patriotic family in the city of Hesekê in Rojavayê Kurdistan, where such a revolutionary public reality is experienced. Our comrade, who entered his youth under the conditions of the Rojava Freedom Revolution, witnessed many wars and conflicts, especially in Hesekê. He witnessed both ISIS and Regime attacks and saw the heroic resistance of the freedom forces in Rojava, who took the Apoist philosophy as a basis, against these attacks. Our comrade Givara, who was influenced by the resistance and freedom-based comradeship relations of the young fighters, both men and women, who defended them, has grown to join these forces of freedom as her biggest dream. She was especially curious about the reality of Leader Apo, inspired by the freedom forces of Rojava and accepted as a leader, and tried to understand it. Therefore, our comrade Givara, who soon became a pioneer in life, shared the level of concentration she experienced with her comrades and tried to fulfill her revolutionary duties completely. The suggestion of our comrade, who proposed to move to the Zap area in order to respond to the attacks carried out by the genocidal Turkish state on the Medya Defense Areas, was accepted and passed to the Zap area. Comrade Givara, who showed a hardworking, self-sacrificing and assertive participation in her first practice in the field of Zap, earned the respect of all her comrades. Our comrade, who made this way of participation a lifestyle, started to lead the environment he was in, even though he was in the Zap area for a short time. In this sense, he showed the stance of a promising commander at a young age. Like many of his other comrades in the Zap area, he actively participated in the preparation of the war tunnels, which witnessed great resistance and heroism, and had a significant effort. Excited, Our comrade Givara, who managed to be a source of strength to all her comrades with her morale and yet modest personality, died on October 19, 2020, in an enemy attack that took place together with our comrade Tîrêj.
