Our patriotic Çewlik province has always played an important role in the struggle of our people to have an honorable future, and has always been in resistance against the occupation and invaders. The strong Kurdistani values and patriotic line caused Çewlik to be specifically targeted by the colonialist Turkish state. exposed to many pressures; Our people, who were tried to be removed from the struggle with the policies of denial, destruction and assimilation, managed to stick to the tradition of resistance despite all the attacks of the invaders. The emergence of our party, the PKK, under the leadership of Rêber Apo, created a great excitement among our people in Çewlik, and they took an active part in our people’s freedom struggle from the very first day. Our comrade Seran, who was born into a family from Çewlik who was a patriot and joined the ranks of the struggle, also grew up in this strong culture of resistance. The capture of her brother and uncle by the colonialist Turkish state enabled our comrade Seran to see the true and dark side of the invading state from an early age. Our comrade, who started to follow and get to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle more closely while he was studying at the university in Bedlîs, understood Rêber Apo’s thoughts better and decided to take part in an active struggle. Our comrade, who participated in youth work in 2013, worked for a long time in public to raise awareness of Kurdish youth and women against the dirty politics, denial and destruction policies of the colonial Turkish state. Our comrade Seran, who saw the first guerrilla in this process and was very excited, has reached the determination to fight more. As a young Kurdish woman, she saw the reality of the female guerrilla standing on her feet in the mountains of Kurdistan and leading the effective guerrilla war against the invaders, in the face of the reality of female identity that the system imprisoned and enslaved within four walls. Raising the level of resolution to the highest level on this basis, our comrade joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015, when the colonialist Turkish state intensified its destruction attacks. Our comrade, who successfully completed the first guerrilla practice in Bakure Kurdistan, moved to the Medya Defense Zones in order to convey his experiences and become more ideologically competent. With the ideological training he received, he deepened in the lines of the PKK and PAJK and in the philosophy of Rêber Apo. Our comrade Seran, who has a great interest and inclination in the military field, has specialized in many different guerrilla tactics with his academy training. Our comrade, who has great self-confidence, made great changes in himself during this process and became an exemplary militant of the Women’s Freedom Ideology. Comrade Seran, who shared his guerrilla experience with his comrades and led his comrades by commanding in a short time, created the spirit of victory of the period in his personality and transferred it to his practice. Our comrade Seran, known for his sincere, excited and unwavering participation in life, deepened his concentration after the practice he carried out in Heftanîn and wanted to have a sharp participation in the line of Zîlan. On this basis, our comrade Seran, who joined Hêzên Taybet, is based on serving our people by raising the line of struggle. Our comrade Seran, who has an inexhaustible anger against the invaders, has organized his anger and turned it into a strong struggle ground. Our Serhed region, which has the most rebellious geography of Kurdistan, where strong social ties and Kurdistani values prevail in life, has been one of the centers of our people’s insistence on a free life. Our Serhed region, which has always been in resistance against the attacks of the colonialists and went through the history of Kurdistan with the strong rebellions it developed, was one of the areas where our party PKK first spread and became massive. Our resistance Serhed people have established strong ties with the philosophy of Leader Apo and have always increased their resistance. Thousands of valiant sons of Serhed joined the guerrilla ranks and fought selflessly for the free future of our people. Our comrade Deniz, who was born into a patriotic family devoted to Serhed’s unyielding characteristics and culture of resistance, was one of our comrades who had the chance to grow up by getting to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle from an early age. Our comrade, who has a great love for the guerrilla with his stories from his childhood, has always followed our struggle closely. Our comrade, who studied physics at Kars Kafkas University, started his revolutionary life by actively participating in youth work during this period. Our comrade, who has been fighting for a long time to raise awareness and protect Kurdish youth against genocidal attacks and assimilation policies, has been detained and oppressed many times by the invading Turkish state.
Joining the sacred guerrilla life that he always dreamed of with great enthusiasm, our comrade Deniz soon adapted to the mountain life. Our comrade, who joined the ranks of the struggle for our people to have a free future in the free mountains of Kurdistan, quickly purified himself from the negative features created by the system and focused on recreating himself with the philosophy of Leader Apo. The Kurdistan Freedom Struggle has dealt a heavy blow to the genocidal policy of colonial states by resurrecting the hope of freedom of our people who have been oppressed for decades. Our people, who re-emerged on the stage of history, opened the way for a new life to all oppressed peoples, women and youth with their resistance. The resisting people of Kurdistan came together around Leader Apo and entered into a breathless struggle. Our city of Mêrdîn also greeted the PKK’s resistance with serhildans, which it developed by adopting it with all its might. Our people of Merdin, who were exposed to the most brutal attacks of the colonialist Turkish state, never compromised on their patriotic line and insisted on a dignified life. Comrade Battal, who was born in Mêrdîn Nisebîn in a family where patriotic feelings and the culture of resistance are at the forefront, grew up in the culture created by the PKK. Our comrade, who grew up in a family whose financial situation is poor and makes a living by working hard, contributed financially to his family, on the other hand, he served the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, to which he is devoted with all his heart. Comrade Battal, who was detained many times during his efforts to raise awareness of our people and stayed in colonial dungeons for 9 months, never compromised on the line of resistance and always focused on increasing his struggle. Continuing his revolutionary struggle in colonial prisons, our comrade Battal constantly improved himself and had the chance to better understand the philosophy of Leader Apo and the reality of the PKK. Our comrade, who did not bow to the dirty policies of the colonial Turkish state, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2011, gave the necessary answer to the invaders and showed the Kurdish youth the line of struggle.
Our comrade Battal Menal, who took the names of martyrs’ relatives Martyr Battal (Veceddin Altekin) and Martyr Menal (Salih Koç) when he joined the guerrilla ranks, embraced the legacy of the struggle of all our martyrs in their person, and has taken the struggle of our martyrs to victory. Having successfully completed the basic guerrilla training he received, our comrade moved to Avaşîn and started his first guerrilla practice. Our comrade, whose hardworking and self-sacrificing personality is at the forefront, quickly adapted to the guerrilla life. Specializing in guerrilla tactics with his interest in the military field, our comrade successfully completed his specialization training and deepened in the line of professional guerrilla. Our comrade Battal, who went to Zap after the Avaşîn area, He actively participated in the Revolutionary People’s War and made an intense effort to fully implement his duties. Our comrade, who moved to Avaşîn again in the face of the extensive invasion attacks launched by the colonial Turkish state in 2015, took his place at the forefront of many actions that dealt heavy blows to the colonialist Turkish army. Our comrade Battal, who responded to the duties and responsibilities of the period by becoming a commander, succeeded in becoming an exemplary practice with his devotion to the line of martyrs and his militant war style. Comrade Menal, who took part in many different works throughout his struggle and served our people by completing all the responsibilities he took, led his young comrades with his experience and knowledge. Our comrade Battal, who is a source of strength and morale in every environment with the strong comradeship relations he has established, has become the owner of a walk in the life of the sacrifice. Our comrade, who approaches his duties with the spirit of victory by constantly increasing the pace of participation and integrating with his comrades, has succeeded in becoming a worthy militant of our party PKK. The unique resistance that our party PKK’s leading cadres developed in the dungeons under the most difficult conditions became the leaven of the spirit of resistance and victory in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, which developed under the leadership of Leader Apo. Our people of Amed have embraced this sacred resistance since the first day and opened a new page in the honorable history of our people with the serhildan tradition it developed. Our comrade Andok, who grew up in a patriotic family devoted to this strong historical tradition and Kurdistani values, has grown up with the culture of resistance. Botan, where the foundations of the guerrilla were laid in Kurdistan and the center of unprecedented resistance against the invaders, has not bowed to the attacks of the invaders throughout history and has always led the struggle of our oppressed people. With the emergence of our party PKK under the leadership of Leader Apo, our patriotic people of Botan quickly integrated with our Party and fulfilled the necessity of its historical role. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which is the free will and basic defense force of our people, has grown in the lands of Botan and spread all over Kurdistan. Our patriotic Botan people, where strong social ties dominate and the fire of resistance is always alive, has always been at the forefront both with the serhildans they developed and their participation in the guerrilla ranks. Our comrade Harun, who was born to a patriotic family in Sirnex, the center of Botan’s strong tradition, grew up witnessing the freedom struggle of our people. Our comrade Harun, who has the resistance characteristics of the patriotic Kichi tribe, has faced state terror from an early age, like every other Kurd who lives with dignity. The fact that his elder brother was held captive in the dungeons of the colonial Turkish Republic brought about our Comrade Harun’s early recognition of the dark and dirty face of the invaders and his joining the ranks of the struggle at a young age. The fact that his sister joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla had a great impact on our comrade Harun and developed a determination to stand up for more resistance in our comrade. Our comrade, who was arrested by the colonialists in 2010, remained in the occupying dungeons for 6 months. Our Comrade Harun, who did not recognize the barrier of space in the struggle and turned the enemy dungeons into training and struggle areas with his comrades, got to know the Leadership philosophy and our party PKK more closely during this period. After the dungeon period, he did not stop his struggle; He has served our people by participating in youth activities and has made an intense effort to raise awareness of Kurdish youth, who are the hope of a free future for our people.
Our comrade Harun, who never slows down the pace of the struggle and is always more resistant, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014. Our comrade, who has brought to consciousness the fact that our people will not be able to maintain their existence and ensure their freedom without developing a strong defense under the leadership of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, has devoted all his energy to the struggle. Comrade Harun, who quickly adapted to the mountains of Kurdistan and deepened his level of consciousness with the training he received, moved to the Zap area and carried out his first guerrilla practice. Our comrade Harun, who almost reinvented himself in the struggle with the philosophy of Leader Apo, came to the fore with his struggle and became an exemplary militant with the right way of participation. Comrade Harun, a militant of difficult times and duties, has been a source of strength and morale for his comrades in every environment he is in.
