“Our comrade Dilxwaz Gabar, one of the leading militants of our party PKK, one of the brave commanders of our guerrilla army, a self-sacrificing worker and the valiant son of our people, died in the enemy attack on May 21, 2022. Our comrade Dilxwaz Gabar sought to fulfill his responsibilities with great self-sacrifice and self-sacrifice while he was serving as a member of the provincial command and for the success of our people’s struggle for freedom. The struggle of our comrade Dilxwaz, which he devoted to the freedom of our people for 32 years and continued without giving up, is an epic life story. Our comrade Dilxwaz will be taken as an example by the successors of the revolutionary march and by all Kurdish youth, their goals will definitely be achieved and his memory will be kept alive in Free Kurdistan. Dying under the oppression and persecution of colonial states; The Kurdish people, whose language, culture and identity are ignored, have been reborn from their ashes together with our party PKK. Rêber Apo, who created the reality of Free Kurd and Kurdistan by breaking the grip of genocide, gave our people the will of freedom under the most difficult conditions and created a people of serhildan that made history. The Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, which built a magnificent resistance in Kurdistan, spread in waves and spread to every inch of Kurdistan. Our patriotic people embraced our struggle with great enthusiasm and determination and developed an unprecedented resistance in history. Our struggle, which dealt the first blow to the colonialists with the Amed Dungeon Resistance, started a new era by becoming a guerilla under the leadership of our immortal commander Egîd (Mahsun Korkmaz), and raised the hopes of our people for a free future.
Our comrade Dilxwaz was born in Hezex, the center of this deep-rooted tradition of resistance, in a family belonging to the patriotic Harunî tribe, and in the village of Bafê. Our patriotic village of Bafê, which met the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla with the glorious 15 August Initiative and joined the resistance with great devotion, has always sent its valiant children to the ranks of the guerrilla and defended the resistance line of its martyrs with its struggle. Growing up in a family and village environment dominated by the tradition based on the honorable life created by the PKK, our comrade Dilxwaz grew up with a concise patriotism committed to social values from an early age. Our comrade, who witnessed the denial and annihilation attacks of the colonial Turkish state since childhood, He harbored great anger against the invaders and waited for the day to come when he would hold accountable for the inhumane attacks against our people. Comrade Dilxwaz, who saw and knew the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla closely, was impressed by the sacred life and comradely relations of the PKK guerrilla from the very first moment and decided to join this sacred life. Our comrade Dilxwaz, who joined the ranks of the struggle in Mêrdîn in 1990, when serhildans rose in Kurdistan, our patriotic people embraced our struggle with great will and the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla wrote epics with their resistance, started his epic march and for 32 years, he was on the PKK’s resistance line, as the leader of Reber Apo. He walked selflessly on the path to the free future he opened. He was influenced from the very first moment by the sacred life and comradely relations of the PKK guerrilla and decided to join this sacred life. Our comrade Dilxwaz, who had his first guerrilla experience in Mêrdîn, had no difficulty in adapting to the sacred guerrilla life, and became one of our pioneers by quickly getting into practice. Our comrade, who fought with unending anger against the colonialists, moved to Botan after his successful practice in Mêrdîn and carried out guerrilla activities in almost every inch of Botan’s lands. Our comrade Dilxwaz, who became a commander by walking in the footsteps of our immortal commander Egîd and took his place in the forefront of many actions that dealt heavy blows to the colonial Turkish army, became one of the legendary commanders of Botan and had the rightful pride of serving our people and our Party by being a guerrilla in the lands where he was born and raised. Established in the hearts of his comrades in every environment with his natural, humble and laboring personality, Our comrade, who is based on raising the existing values with his efforts, embodied the militant personality created by the PKK in his person. Our comrade Dilxwaz, who did not bow to the oppressors and participated in pioneering activities in the fields of Heftanîn, Xakurkê, Zagros, Zap and Qendil after the practices of Merdîn and Botan, where resistance against oppression is a tradition, prepared himself for the most difficult conditions and was able to successfully complete all the tasks he took. During his revolutionary life, our comrade, who trained hundreds of new guerrillas and recruited them to the ranks of the struggle, completed many critical tasks with great success and gained the trust and respect of his comrades as a valiant militant in difficult times. Our comrade Dilxwaz, who is always in deep concentration to better understand Leader Apo’s philosophy and transfer it to his young comrades and practice, It is based on reflecting its ideological accumulation to every moment and area of his life. Our comrade, who embarked on the fight as a qualified fighter in the sacred life flow of the PKK, has constantly improved himself, has become a competent activist and a commander with the spirit of victory. Our comrade Dilxwaz, walking in the footsteps of Commander Egîd in Gabar, took over the struggle of Adil Bilîkîs in Cûdî and Reşit Serdars in Zagros, and became a militant of the martyrs line until his last breath. Our comrade Dilxwaz, who was the defender of Rêber Apo, has continued his struggle in the Medya Defense Zones with great passion and love of revolution and has made a great effort.
