- On April 4, the vicinity of Garê’s Çemrobotki village and the slopes of Xêrê were bombed twice with warplanes.
- On April 5, our resistance positions in Çemço and Sîda were bombed 13 times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
1 FREEDOM FIGHTER MARTYRED IN METINA
Our comrade Koçer Doğan was martyred in the enemy attacks on our forces, which took a defensive position and did not take action against the enemy according to the decisions taken by our organization, in the Girê FM area of Metina on March 7, 2023. One of the exemplary militants of the Apoist sacrifice, our comrade Koçer Cenga Xabûre Martyr has been one of our leading comrades who took part in many stages of the Battle of Maraş Revolutionary Campaign and destroyed the enemy’s dreams of invasion. We express our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially his precious family, who brought such a self-sacrificing comrade to the freedom struggle of our people.

Our comrade Koçer was born in Hezex, one of the important resistance centers of Botan, in a patriotic family. The family of our comrade Koçer had to immigrate to Nisêbîn due to the oppression and suppression policies of the enemy as a practice of genocide. That’s why our comrade Koçer grew up in Nisêbîn. Our comrade, who started to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle from an early age due to the patriotic environment he lived in, grew up with the heroic epics of the guerrilla who sacrificedly defended our people against the enemy. For this reason, he made the guerrilla a childhood hero and determined participation in the guerrilla as his greatest goal. Our comrade Koçer, who started to recognize and understand the reality of the enemy from an early age, due to the hostile practices that he heard from his family and personally witnessed; He realized early on that the genocidal grip developed by the enemy against our people can only be destroyed by an effective struggle. For this, he has been actively involved in youth work since his youth and started to weave his life with struggle. However, the fact that the enemy massacred our people, regardless of children, women or the elderly, not only angered our comrade Koçer, but also caused him to take his struggle to an even more radical level. Again, the Rojava Freedom Revolution developed by our people at great cost, and the martyrdoms experienced almost every day for the defense of this revolution, deeply affected our comrade Koçer and paved the way for him to make a historical decision. On this basis, he has fulfilled his responsibilities towards our people by joining the ranks of the Rojava Freedom Revolution in 2015.
He joined the ranks of the revolution in a period of intense attacks by fascist ISIS gangs against the Rojava Freedom Revolution caused our comrade Koçer to enter an active struggle in a short time. For this reason, he gained the military experience that could be gained for years in a short time and took his place in the hot war fronts. Our comrade Koçer, who participated in many military operations developed to defeat ISIS gangs, became an exemplary militant with his brave, self-sacrificing and laborer participation during these operations and earned the respect of his comrades. Our comrade, who improved himself militarily in these moves, had a leadership level participation by taking on many tasks. However, he realized that mere military competence would not be enough for an Apoist militant, and he tried to develop himself in the philosophy of Leadership. With the ideological training he received, he had the opportunity to both make an account of the works and practices he carried out and to have a more meaningful and conscious walk in the life of the revolution. With the concentrations he made during these training processes, he dealt with and compared himself against the reality of the Leadership and the martyrs. From the inferences he made, he concluded that although he was a successful militant in the military sense, this had inadequacies in reaching the reality of the Leadership and its martyrs. He realized that he had to fight harder for this. Our comrade, who thinks that his struggle must be on the line of sacrifice, has foreseen that this can only happen in the mountains of Kurdistan, within the body of Hêzên Taybet. On this basis, in 2018, when ISIS gangs were largely defeated, he turned his face to the mountains of Kurdistan and became involved in the work of Hêzên Taybet. He came to the fore with his self-sacrifice in every work he took part in, and lived sacrifice as a philosophy of life. Therefore, with his stance in life, the color and morale he added to life, he became a militant that all his comrades took as an example. With the comfort of bringing his own reality to consciousness, he joined life very naturally and did not limit himself to certain patterns. For this, he has always been a pioneer and has been in a position to lead his comrades to the struggle. Our comrade Koçer, who tries to help each of his comrades in every way, has always been a sought-after comrade with his strong comradeship. Our comrade Koçer, who thinks that he should stand by his comrades fighting in the positions as a militant in the face of the intense attacks carried out by the enemy against the Medya Defense Areas, participated in the Cenga Xabûr Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign and stood by his comrades.
