COLOGNE – Yesterday, March 17th, a group of internationalist young women met in the morning in front of the Bündis90/Die Grünen party office and read out an open letter and then handed it in to the party. The action took place as part of the days of action proclaimed by Defend Kurdistan against the use of chemical weapons.
The group commemorated the anniversary of Halabja, the massacre that took place in the city in southern Kurdistan through the use of chemical and banned weapons, which was repeated today by the occupying Turkish state against the guerrillas of freedom in the Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan come into use.
The group of young women also expressed their condolences to the victims of the February 6 earthquake, for which the occupying Turkish state is also responsible for the high number of victims.
The group denounced the cooperation of German politicians, especially the party B90/The Greens, with the occupying Turkish state and its genocidal aggressive mentality, and its action not only drew the attention of party members, but also the public.
