BEHDÎNAN – The YJA Star Central Command released a message on March 8 stating:
“We are going through the processes of taking the strongest steps of our revolutionary struggle with the ‘Jin, Jiyan Azadî’ philosophy of life. The great action of free life by Rêber APO, which gives hope to all humanity, especially women, on the axis of the women’s libertarian paradigm, has turned women’s struggle into a source of strength for society. With the human resistance of the age when women’s resistance and solidarity holds society together, we welcome March 8, International Working Women’s Day. The February 6 earthquake disaster, which has brought society and human nature to the brink of disaster, has brought great suffering to our society. As YJA Star Free Women’s Army, we feel the pain of our society linked to their country with the deepest feelings of the Welatparêzî and we declare that we will fulfill our historical responsibility based on the building of a new life. We know that our free women’s struggle has the power and faith to heal society’s wounds. At this time, when the exploitation of women is increasing and the state-controlled system is almost waging war on social life, we as YJA Star forces fighting for the noble cause of our society declare that we are the suffering of our society split. We promise that we will uphold the values of our society to the end. Our chairman said; “Difficulties make great people, we are a revolutionary society”, and has revealed the urgency of human revolution through solidarity, togetherness and organization and that it is the only indispensable way of life. The fact, that fascist state structures are at war against all humanity and that the AKP-MHP government has caused the loss of thousands of people by disregarding human values themselves in the face of the catastrophe experienced by society is considered the shame of the century in enter the story. This trial has clearly shown that the male-dominated system is inflicting the greatest cruelty in history on people in order to free itself from the quagmire it has fallen into as a result of the women-led struggle for a free life. The AKP-MHP government, which wants to end the organized struggles of the societies that have developed around the philosophy of free life, continues its massacre policy against our society, instead of hearing the cries of liberation from society to continue their fascist system. The state power system, which tries to profit even from the suffering of the societies of Kurdistan and Turkey, makes nature uninhabitable through social hostility. WE PROMISE TO ENSURE ALL WOMEN’S FREEDOM
Our resistance struggle, which continues uninterruptedly under the leadership of our YJA Star forces against the fascist Turkish state attacking the mountains of Kurdistan and the freedom guerrilla with a genocidal policy, is advancing on the guerrilla line of democratic modernity to victory. Faced with the massacre mentality of the state, attacking guerrilla positions, daily trying to achieve results with the use of chemical weapons and plundering the nature of Kurdistan in the face of the KCK’s decision to remain inactive, we promise as YJA star guerrilla and the self-sacrificing Fighters Rêber APOs that we will secure the freedom of all women, especially our leader.
With the male-dominated system waging a war against the life of society, the free women’s struggle continues to fulfill its historic responsibility based on the building of a new life. Our women’s liberation movement, which has developed under the leadership of the YJA star guerrilla, as a great solution and victory movement, with determination to make the 21st century the century of women, welcomes March 8th with the spirit of resistance to all attacks by the occupying Turkish state that are carried out outside of war morale, especially against chemical weapons. Our comrade Raperîn Amed, who has made great efforts to bring our women’s liberation struggle to this level, as a great freedom fighter, has taken a significant step toward the victory of women’s organized struggle. This resistance movement and spirit was transformed with the slogan Jin, Jiyan, Azadî into a great spirit of action, life, courage, resistance and war in Rojhilatê Kurdistan, especially in four parts of Kurdistan, in all areas where the Earthquake took place, revealed in all women who turned their anger into determination to fight and in each individual in search of freedom.
Kurdish society, dubbed “a ready-made society” by the genocidal state apparatus, has experienced the greatest suffering in history, women have felt the devastation of fascism most, but the people and women at every stage of history who have resisted have always known how to preserve human values by preserving sociality. In the face of the genocidal special war state attacking Rêber APO’s democratic, ecological, women’s liberation paradigm and our women’s liberation ideology in the person of women, we as YJA Star Free Women’s Unions reaffirm our promise to our society, especially to all women, of a free and honorable future to accomplish. In our struggle against the genocidal, plundering mentality, with the life philosophy of Rêber APO, as YJA Star forces that promised to protect the will of society and human values in the mountains of Kurdistan, we declare that we are the voice of our society , the resistance of women and the victory of free life under all circumstances. We will win the battle and make the 21st century the century of women.”
